I can't say enough about Dawn!! She is sweet, kind, and professional. Great all-around hairstylist. I've been going to her for four years, and she always accommodates me with my schedule. BTW it doesn't hurt that the place is so pretty and gives victorian vibes. 😊

Steel Magnolia's is a really nice place. It's very homey and I've used three stylists that are currently there when they worked across town at another salon. Happy to recommend Dawn, Candace, and Coye! You really can't go wrong with either of them for a cut, color, and style, but Coye is fantastic at razor cuts and short hair!

I am not always one to do reviews like this but, Dawn Nieder is phenomenal!! She deserves a great review!!! She transformed my old cut full of awful white gray hair to a beautiful natural color with light highlights!!!! It looks phenomenal!!! Dawn has real knack for knowing what one really wants but what looks good too!!! Kudos to you Dawn!!! Thank you!!! I feel like a new woman!!!

I was so excited when I received a gift certificate for this Salon as I had heard some great things. I made a call yesterday all excited about making an appointment and nobody answered the phone which I understand as it was a Saturday and I'm sure they were busy so I left a message as the prompt advised me to do and I waited ALL day and no call back at all. That was very disappointing. I understood being busy but not even a call back at end of the day even if just to say sorry we were super busy how can I help or may I call you Monday morning? Guess I'll give away my certificate and hope someone else has better luck than me

My mom, sister and I have all had our hair done by Gennifer and we love her! She does a great job and she’s so easy going, friendly, flexible and she gave me one of my favorite hair cuts I’ve had in a long time! Our stylist moved out of state and it took us a while to find someone we liked and we’re so happy we found her! My sister got her hair done for the first time after being in a serious car accident and spent a few months in the hospital. She was so happy after she left and we couldn’t thank her enough for making her feel beautiful again.

These ladies are top of the line. Always up to date on new trends and in the know. Hope is amazing with color. Even on stubborn hair like mine. They are all great and you will feel amazing when you are done!

Anabelle, Lindsay, Hope, Christina and Mrs Betty are all amazing stylists! If you are in Lexington, this is a hidden Jem! Check them out! Aveda Trained stylists! They are great stylist who book up quickly! Highly recommend this salon!

I absolutely love Steel Magnolias! Lindsay is a master colorist! Great atmosphere, up to the minute techniques, really great folks. I highly recommend Steel Magnolias for top notch hair care.
