I had such a great experience getting my hair braided by Georgina, who came highly recommended by a friend! I absolutely loved the results. The whole team was super friendly and made me feel right at home. I can’t wait to go back and I definitely recommend checking them out!

I was a walkin last week for a two strand twist on my natural hair. The braider did an awesome job. I really appreciate having a braid shop in the neighborhood that I can count to do a great job, always. Thanks, Stella!

I was initially quoted $200 for boho braids. The day I came back for the service I was told the price would be $220. I informed them I would pay the $200 I was quoted. I paid extra for the curly hair pieces. The braids looked great until the curly pieces began to fall out… a lot. I went back to explain this and was told to show an example of the hair coming out. I ran my fingers through the braids a couple times and a few more curly pieces came out in my hand. I was told I shouldn’t be “playing” in the hair. I was not offered any type of refund, despite tipping the stylist $50. The staff was rude and unaccommodating. I will not recommend or return… I should have known the place was unprofessional as they played a completely inappropriate movie/soap opera on the television with sexual references in-front of children. They would have had multiple return customers with a simple apology and $25 refund.

No need to make an appointment it will not be honored. They never on time. I went somewhere else. Doussous Braiding in Glen Burnie in for 2 hours they the best!!!

I have been coming to this establishment for over a decade - excusing the terrible customer service because my styles were usually very good. As of today I am longer paying my hard earned money at this shop. I asked for a braid down service, half a design in the front and straight cornrows in the back so I could crochet curly hair in. I requested this style in 2023 and was charged $130. Today Stella and her stylist attempted to charge me $220 for the exact same service. I refuse to pay box/knotless braid prices for a style that took less than half the effort and 1/4 of the hair. This shop is completely unprofessional and downright playing in peoples faces, attempting to grossly overcharge assuming there won’t be pushback. I am never one to argue over service providers pricing but this was a blatant money grab. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT come here. It is not worth the drama nor your money especially in this economy!

I really appreciate this salon and the staff. They are very professional, kind, and welcoming. I was there to braid my hair, and they did a good job. I have received a lot of compliments about my hair. I recommend this salon guys you will be 100% satisfied.

I called Stella on a Friday to get my daughter’s hair braided on that upcoming Sunday. She scheduled me for 1:00pm on Sunday, took my name, number, & everything! So I’m thinking things are legit and my spot is safe. I get there Sunday at 12:35, noticed there were at least 8 ladies (nowhere near done) still getting braided. There are at least 7-8 workers and ALL of them were booked. There were two young ladies also waiting to be seen prior to me coming in. Another older woman came in as a walk in, and requested a certain style I assume only a few of the workers know how to do. When that specific stylist was done with their customer, she took the lady that came in after me. I waited 2 hrs if not more past my appointment time before my daughter was seen. She got in the chair at 3:22pm. No apologies, or anything! She finished with my daughters hair around 7:30. Making an appointment here is useless so don’t waist your time. Getting there in the morning as soon as they open may be your best luck. Looks like this is a walk in shop. I wish she would’ve been more honest about that or at least acknowledged us as we walked in. They didn’t ask for our names or if we had appointments or anything. Not sure if I’ll be returning

I made an appointment on line for 7am. Only to be told that no one knew about that appointment because I have to call. Makes no sense, why would you have an appointment on booking. I found it very unprofessional and was there till 8am and no one showed up who could do the style I wanted.

I used to go to this salon when I was first starting with my cornrows very short. They're not really very particular about the straightness of their parts or the even sizes of the cornrows, but they would do in an emergency. The problem is that my scalp would always start itching less than a week later. I noticed they did not care to clean their combs or wash their hands between clients. The place is kind of a hole in the wall and they don't really interact with you unless you speak their language. I stopped going after my 4th vist and found a really good stylist.

I went to this place last week expecting good results since I had to be somewhere the next day. When I got to the place there was only 3 people working and I showed the lady what I wanted and they said they didn’t have anybody to do it. So I’d have to come by at a later time, but since I had somewhere to be the next day I just settled for something else which I was over charged for and they told me they didn’t have the color I wanted just for them to come out with it when they were doing another customers hair. As I’m sitting there the lady’s almost done with my hair I look in the mirror and the lady didn’t part my hair like I’d shown her in the picture I wanted. Overall this was not a great experience I will not be going back.

Was amazing and it’s all thanks to Catherine. She was so respectful, friendly, and fast (it only took two hours for medium box braids!) She didn’t even pick up her phone once- unlike some braiders who use it to both distract themselves from their work and disrespect their customers. 100% professional. I’ll definitely be coming back, just for her. I wish I could rate her a million stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The owners are lucky to have her!

DONT SPEND NO MONEY HERE THEY ARE VERY VERY RUDE !! THEY OVER CHARGE YOU FOR THE HAIRSTYLES . When you have thick hair they act like they can’t do it and if they can they will charge you more ‼️ They will have you waiting for hours and with an appointment!!! They said hair is provided NO WAY ! Bad business take ya money somewhere else trust me

I have called on two different occasions and was told , they would call back. The first time they called me back the next day. The second time no call, I wanted micro's. I heard the girl saying something in the background and laughing I like this shop is close to home and my daughter in law referred me.

If you get the right stylist, it's fine. I scheduled an appointment for a specific style for an event I had to attend and it was not done. I was rushed out at the end of the night and when I pulled it out of the pony tail the next morning, I saw the terrible work. I contacted Stella to get my money back and she gave me the run around. Never again! Stella was super shady.

My hair looked fabulous the first day. However, 1 braid fell out on day 2, another one came out day 3. A third braid came out on day 6. The last braid that came out even took out some of my hair. I called them to see if they can redo the ones that came out and no one answered the phone nor called me back.

Only my 2nd time at Stella's despite bad reviews. Katherine did a great job. Box braids only took 3 hrs & it doesn't feel like she braided too tight. I didn't take cash because the website stated credit card or CashApp payments. I took my debit card (acts as a credit card) but I had to walk to CVS for cash after my hair was braided but wet. That's the only part I didn't enjoy because I get headcolds too easily & upper respiratory issues. I took -1 point, otherwise it would've been a 5 star experience. Other than that, Katherine is friendly, cordial, & professional. Next time I'll take cash & ask for Katherine... Thank you!!!

Run! I took my son to this shop to get his hair dreaded with extensions. Mind you it only 1/3 of his head. I was over charged and the dreads started coming out the very same night. I took him there on a Saturday and by Wednesday everything had unraveled and subsequently fell out. I contacted the very irresponsible owner who's only concern is to collect a payment even prior to services being completed, which in it's self is complete nonsense. A sign of incompetent nobodies having any confidence in there work. She gave me the run around for 3 days and finally told me to drop him off at 11am on a Friday. They left my Don sitting there until 3pm and then wanted to get away with doing gel twist which originally was 80 dollars. I asked to speak to the owner Stella and she reluctantly came to the phone saying that she would charge half of the amount of a style that was poorly done by her shop! I only agreed because it was the holiday season and my son needed to have his hair done. They made s second attempt which was still poorly done, my son didn't get done until after 8. Needless to say I will never step foot in this shop! It's disgusting when so call business owners don't take responsibility for their poor services. You cannot please everyone but show you care when a legitimate complaint is brought before you. I was cheated, and my son had to spend unnecessary hours in the playground they call a business. I leave them in the hands of God! I work hard for my earnings to have irresponsible people steal from me. Good luck running your so called business. Stay clear of this braiding shop. They don't care!

The box braids were poorly done, waited like an hour for someone to do my hair even though we scheduled an appointment earlier. I asked for 60 strands and the lady that did my hair only did 40 strands and charge $160. 😐
