Best salon I’ve been to in EP and I’ve been to quite a few! Carmen is very attentive and talented. My hair is not the easiest to deal with but she always leaves my hair looking amazing after every visit. The staff there is also wonderful!

I am new to El Paso from the Southeast and have long, thick, and super-fine hair. Carmen and her staff were amazing. They were welcoming, not rushed, and gave me the exact cut I was looking for. I’ve been coming to this salon off and on for many years. And out of all the places I’ve been, this is the only salon that does a consistently good cut. Came here today to fix a messed up hair cut and Carmen did a great job and I left happy and “back to normal.”

made an appointment with Carmen a week in advance for a cut and style for my Canadian girlfriend who was flying back to Canada 3 days after her appointment.. received two messages confirming the appointment. today my girlfriend shows up for her appointment only to be told that it will only be a consultation ,no cut or style, that will have to be another time. was told they have a hard time keeping a receptionist and the one who took my appointment was new. completely unacceptable! a week wasted with no time to arrange something some place else. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

I used to like going here. But I went in with a picture the other day, planning to make an appointment and to see if they could do my hair similar to the picture, and before I could get a word in i was lectured that they do not take walk ins and if I've been there before I should know this. Once I was finally able to explain that I was just there to see if they were able to do something they shortly advised "No" though there are pictures on their web page with similar colors. I will not be back.

Going to Carmen this week was the best thing that happened to our hair. She answered all my questions and gave me recommendations for my hair cut. On the other hand, my daughter showed her the pic of the hair cut she wanted and she got exactly what she wanted. We have never gotten such great hair cuts she takes her time to shape your hair the way you want it. We trusted her with our hair and will continue to go to her from now on. If you need a good quality haircut plz go to Carmen you will be highly satisfied with the service she will provide you.

I went from long hair to very short hair and I have never trusted anyone to cut my hair that short because my hair is so curly. I took a chance with Carmen and she worked with my curls and I love my new style. Takes me 10 minutes to do my hair in the morning. Will not go back to long hair again now that I have Carmen to cut it. Thank you Carmen!!

This is my second time coming with Carmen. She has cut mine and my daughters hair and she does an awesome job! I absolutely love her work, and she is extremely kind & professional, as well as her staff! She dyed my hair this time with highlights and I love them. Carmen is excellent. I got exactly the color I was looking for and a new cut that I have the confidence to show off because of what a fantastic job she did. I also did not expect conversation to be so easy with her since I have a hard time with new places and people, but talking with her flowed naturally. The staff were also very friendly, and you can tell they have a lot of satisfied customers that keep coming back by the rapport they have when others come in. Will be coming back and recommending to others.

I started seeing Carmen in 2006 and she has never disappointed me. She is an excellent colorist and goes to Italy every year to attend hair clinics to keep up with the freshest styles and colors. I moved to Austin in 2016 and could never find a hair stylist who suited me. I came back to El Paso in late 2019 to live and the first appt. I made was with Carmen. After all these years she is family to me.

I’ve been going to Carmen since I moved back to El Paso, over 4 years ago. I first went because a friend highly recommended her. And, I wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else! I love Carmen, her staff and everything about my experience at Stilo. Carmen is a master with the scissors and gets updated training all the time. She’s the best!!

Amazing staff, super friendly and accommodating. Carmen is perfect. She did an excellent job on my hair, she transformed it into a beautiful, healthy doo. I'm super picky about my hair and always have trepidation when looking for a new stylist. I did a lot of research and based on Carmen's reviews, I selected her (eventhough its a 30 min drive). Very much worth it. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend Carmen, you'll love her.

I do not recommend Stilo Hair Design. I cannot support a business that discriminates or makes a person feel unwelcome. I went to Stilo a couple of times about two years ago. The first time I only got a cut and color, and it was fine. The next time, the same stylist cut my hair shorter on the right side and pretty much fried my hair. My sister had her done by Carmen in March, and it looked nice but was pretty pricey. She told me my previous stylist had moved on, so I called and got an appointment with Carmen. This morning my sister called for an appointment and they told her, “we feel we are not the right place for you. You made us feel uncomfortable.” My sister was stunned and hurt by those remarks. My sister is a quiet and generous person , not menacing or demanding. The only thing we can think of is we are older, and maybe they do not want to be known as “an old ladies’ shop”. Needless to say, I called and canceled my appointment and told them why. Besides being unprofessional, the salon has inadequate parking.
