I’ve been seeing Brooke for years for various services. **Updated 1/17/25 after several more years of services from this business. I had a facial with Tamara and it was excellent. She is incredibly knowledgable. The facial itself was excellent. And she gave me recommendations for my home routine that are easy to implement. Would highly recommend!

I had the most wonderful facial today with Danielle! She was very detailed, gentle and made sure I knew exactly what she was doing at all times. It was such a relaxing, and gorgeous space as well. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! 😊

I'm not one to typically review so I don't even know where to start. I've seen three people now at Stone Fox (Tatium, Tamara, and Jada) and have had a 5/5 experience with each one of them!!! Professional is the first word that comes to mind when I think about Stone Fox, thorough and kind are the next two. Each one went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable when trying services I've never done before (especially before my wedding which can be a stressful time) - they've taken the stress out of this for sure! I love that it's a one-stop-shop and there is no compromise in any quality for any service. They truly are the best. So excited for them to be in a new space and continue providing such a great service!!

I’ve been going here for two years and love it. Athena is fantastic, I’ve gone to her for my brows, for waxing, and for a spray tan. Recently, I’ve been going to Jada for my brows (wax & tint) too and she is so awesome!

Diane was friendly and I felt comfortable during the spray tan, however, given it was my first tanning experience I didn’t get great guidance on prep. My wrists, hands, and feet are currently weirdly orange and striped because I wasn’t told to put on any barrier cream beforehand (a step just informed to me by a friend who tans frequently). Update: Stone Fox had not reached out to me until I messaged them first in regards to their response to this review. They did offer options for improving my experience in the future with this response.

I’ve been going here for almost 2 years and mainly getting my Brazilians done with some other little things here and there. And honestly this is the BEST BEST BEST beauty spa! I adore Brooke and the crew so much! Brooke and Jada consistently listen to me about my mess of a life as though they’re my therapists lol and treat me as though we have been friends forever. I recently moved to Harrisonburg and I have yet to find a better place that makes me feel so comfortable and so very well taken care of. Thee expertise, the cleanliness and just overall this place is so easy and fun to go to. I have and will continue to make the drive back to cville for this place! Love it here!!

Taitum is the sweetest! She gave me a spray tan today and she communicated the whole time, made me feel so comfortable and was so kind and encouraging. I’m so grateful to have met her and had such a positive experience.

What a terrible experience! I normally go to Signature for my Botox but decided to try their new injector Jyl since I already go here for my lashes with Brooke. Well, I now have a crooked smile and their injector doesn’t work there anymore! What?? Now I’m stuck with a crooked smile! Embarassing! I should have stuck with Signature instead of going to a new nurse at a place that really should just be doing lashes.

I can not sing the praises of the queens of Stone Fox enough. I love them all - Brooke, Athena, Jada, Mary, Tamara, Diane, and Jyl. I have had my lashes lifted, brows waxed, eyelids tattooed, face peeled, kiddos hair perfected, and heart loved. You don’t see these women to beautify only your outsides - they help you heal your insides. Do yourself a favor and just move all of your beauty needs to their books.

I do not recommend a pedicure until they move into new location. It was disappointing and expensive for what it was. No pedicure chair, they have you squeezed into corner, they are working out of tubs, and it is not worth the money. The young ladies doing it are talented but do not have the proper tools to provide a luxurious experience. It’s difficult to enjoy and relax with them having to work so hard in cramped small space.

I have never been able to place my trust in anyone prior to Jyl! She made me feel like she was competent, confident and most of all relaxed. She instantly had my trust. Instead of a medical procedure she made me feel like I was at a spa to relax and remove myself from the daily grind that is often why we are there! This is where I would build a relationship.

If you want to get the best lips possible then go to Jyl. I didn’t hate my prior filler but knew my lips weren’t as great as they could be. I had lost my natural look through numerous rounds of filler over four years. I had lost definition and softness- and the shape was no longer great for my face. Jyl knew exactly what was going on and how to solve the problem. Ultimately my filler had migrated and I needed to start fresh. I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with this task. She has all the knowledge and experience as well as the best fillers on the market. She even checked on me the next day! She’s the only one I’m trusting with my face from now on.

Jyl, the face fairy as I call her is pure magic. I’ve known Jyl for years now. She always takes time to explain every little detail and answer every question I have about procedures and products. She is an amazing injector and really prides herself in her beautiful work. Aside from her knowledge, skills, and techniques, she is a literal ray of sunshine. She truly cares about you as a patient and a person. You will be better for just being in her presence!

Absolutely LOVE my lash extensions! I booked with Athena, and she was so so good! She was so down to earth and always made sure I felt comfortable. It was so easy to talk to her and she did a fabulous job on my lash extensions! This was my first time ever getting them, and I couldn't of asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Stone Fox for waxing, facials, and spray tan. The studio always feels private, clean, and safe. Communication, directives, and consent are clear, which is very important to me with waxing. Brooke is a master at what she does. I don't even have to specify what I'm looking for... she just knows what is going to look best for my face and brow shape. She makes it virtually painless and quick, while providing wonderful company and conversation. Athena has provided spray tan service for me, and I have always left 100% happy with the results. Never streaky and always provides a natural tan level for my fair skin tone. Bonus: always flexible with reschedules and cancels when needed, which is much appreciated. So excited to continue my patronage with Stone Fox as they expand services and grow!

I loved coming here. Athena Has a great personality and very focused on her work. When I left, my appointment on September 7. I had a great conversation, I asked to get a Brazilian wax and eyebrow tint and I got my eyelash extensions full set with volume. My wax went great! It was clean and easy! Then we moved on to eye brow tint. It was uneven and I even shaped my eye brows the night before to help.. but one side was thicker and darker then my other side…Athena did ask if they where even but I couldn’t tell just laying down for a while and then needing to go to the bathroom and totally didn’t check but it was embarrassing to walk around with that.. My full eye lash extensions was supposed to be full volume. When I got home and relaxed a little, I felt my eyelashes like a normal person who just got them done..but when I put my finger up to my eyelashes it was just full of very hard glue on my eyelashes. I thought it was normal… but Today at September 12 at 11:52pm. My eyes really itchy and then I gently rubbed it and it hurt my eyes so much and when I try to put some hot water or to remove the glue it really was stuck on my eyes and it still really hard to get off.. O

I’ve come here twice now and have gotten a lash lift with Brooke. Let’s just say she’s absolutely magical! She’s extremely detailed-oriented and ensures each lash is perfect. My lashes are COMPLETELY straight but afterwards look so long and curled. Her technique is great too because as your lashes grow out they maintain a nice curl to them (as opposed to growing out crooked). Technique aside, Brooke is a lovely person who takes the time to get to know each client. The design of the salon is clean, well-decorated, and overall relaxing! I would highly recommend Stone Fox Beauty Project to anyone who needs an esthetic service.

I had the best experience with Brooke! My lashes look incredible and her space is so relaxing. We had such great conversation, we didn't even realize the music had stopped during my session. Also, as a woman in a larger body I felt extremely comfortable in this space. The table was comfortable and Brooke was so welcoming and kind. I have already booked my follow up and looking forward to other services as well.

In addition to an excellent brow wax, Athena gave me an AMAZING spray tan. She helped me choose the right shade and made the whole process simple and quick. She is incredibly talented and left me with a perfect spray tan (no drips, no orange hue, no smudge marks!) AND bomb brows. The ladies at stone fox are truly incredible at their craft. Each aesthetician makes their own vibe, but it always feels custom, comfortable & relaxed. For someone with incredibly sensitive skin, it’s hard to find the right fit - but the lash & wax work surpasses my expectations. I always leave feeling refreshed & beautiful! 10/10 would recommend!

This review is long overdue. Athena has been doing my lashes and facials for over a year and she is phenomenal. She gives the best facials I have ever had; and that's saying something considering I've had them done for 20 years around the globe including in NYC, Washington DC, and Paris. She has such a calm nature and warm soul; this makes the already exceptional service that much better. I have recently booked with Brooke and Kaci who are also amazing.

Brooke is literally the best. So professional, but so very easy to talk to. I've been seeing her religiously for about 18 months now and was SO SAD to have to take a break during Covid last Spring. My lashes are perfect - they don't scream "wow, you have lash extensions on". Brooke provides a super natural look that just makes people think it's the way my lashes are! Highly recommend :)
