I went for a simple shape and color. My hair is now very choppy. My hair was also supposed to be a light brown and it’s now orange because it was bleached without telling me, also with gaps in between where there was no dye.

So since our regular hairdresser moved about a year ago, C and I have been looking for a new one, someone good that we trust. C had used a girl named Desha Hight at Strandz Salon in Pineville once and she was great. Recently she wanted some highlights on her dark hair and asked if she could go back there. When I went to make the appt. Desha naturally was booked up so I said well let’s try another stylist. Figuring because Desha was so good, another in the same shop must be good too. BIG MISTAKE!!! I made her an appt with Cherie. I should have been Leary when she had no positive reviews. C looked for weeks for just the right color she wanted and took the picture with her. The first pic is of her hair before going, the second pic is what she wanted, and the third pic is what she got!!! She told the girl NO BLONDE! She wanted brown highlights. About midway through this hours long ordeal C texted me, ‘I told her no blonde, she’s ruining my hair! I said send a pic, she did. (That’s the next pic.) I said put her on the phone! C said mom I’m just leaving she’s already said she had to go somewhere. This horrible job that cost $120 ruined her beautiful hair. She stripped her hair then dyed it blonde, which came out ORANGE! Just take a look at this ‘professional’ hair job. Look at the side of her head with 3 orange marks on it! What the hell? She was in tears. I contacted her via FB and said, ‘I want my money back!’ This is going to cost a fortune to fix, you’ve ruined her hair!’ She agreed to give me back half of my money. I’m thinking half? You’ve ruined it all! Said she was going to mail it to me. How many of you know she was lying? I contacted her again and she blocked me on FB. Oh boo boo. Thanks to the wonderful Saeed who fixed my daughters hair. This mess by Cherie has cost me major money to have her hair cut, conditioned and semi fixed after dealing with a unprofessional lying person. Save your money and your hair and stay!

I am from Michigan and was here for work read the reviews and courteously booked an appointment. No sense of hospitality and politeness what we expect from south. Canceled my appointments like twice. Highly unprofessional.
