I had an event style and make up done by Krystal. She went above and beyond to chat about the event and provide ideas for my make up with my outfit. I enjoyed our conversation and she kept the time positive and upbeat. My makeup and hair lasted all through the 5 hour event. I have had a conditioning treatment done by her in the past and it was great !

I have never left a google review before but after my appointment i have to. I have never been to structures and I always viewed it as a prestigious salon so I figured for my birthday I would treat myself. I saw Krystal for a $300 keratin treatment and a bang trim. I understand the treatment is an expensive and lengthy process but for her to have an assistant do basically all of it was pretty disappointing. Nothing against the sweet assistant she is still learning but I feel like the treatment wasn’t blown in and straightened as well as it should have been. The entire appointment Krystal just went into so much detail about her personal life drama even tho I wasn’t responding much she did not get the picture. I had alot of questions about the treatment and my hair struggles that I was hoping to get answered and she responded with “I’m not sure” when I asked how long I should wait to shampoo the keratin out once I get home. I googled the answer for myself when I got home. She never gave my any aftercare directions which i understand now after googling is pretty important to make your treatment worth it. The worst part of this appointment was the bangs. I still am not sure if she was trying to play a mean trick on me seriously. I even showed her a photo of my curtain bangs from 3 months ago that were just grown out now. They had a part in the middle and laid PAST my eyebrows as I kept repeating that to her. PAST the eyebrows. You know: curtain bangs. She stated she would cut them long at first and then we could always go shorter. Her first cut she took her scissors STARIGHT ACROSS and halfway up my forehead. They immediately just stood straight up it looks like a child took scissors to a Barbie it was so botched. I couldn’t say anything because I knew it was too late. Now I have to Bobby pin back my bangs for the neck couple months. it’s not fixable. They don’t lay flat. She of course just acted like it was normal and I was panicking. I had to run out of there as fast as I could do go see my tegular stylist down the street before they close to try and salvage my bangs. She said It was too late they’re too short. She was trying to be nice but even she didn’t understand how someone could cut bangs like this. It’s okay they will grow back. I wish she would have just said she didn’t know how to cut bangs because I’ve never seen someone do what she did. No shaping, or time out in at all, just a blunt straight across cut sooooo short they will not lay down. Unreal. No birthday photos for me. That’s fine. I just wish she would have cared. She didn’t act like she cared about me or my hair at all the whole appointment. I could barely get a word in she kept interrupting me to tell me about all the drama in her life. I kept trying to steer the convo to my hair but she would not talk about it at all. Worst hair expertise I’ve ever had.

Tim is truly a master stylist! He knows how to cut hair and takes into consideration so many things: your face shape, the way your hair grows, your personal style and maintenance, your hair texture, etc. That’s what a great hairstylist does, but I always have trouble finding one (that is until I found Ti),, so as long as Tim is at Structures, I will continue to go back:)! I love my hairstyle and my cut now, thanks to Tim!

I went to this salon for a blowout ahead of a wedding that we were attending. I was able to make an appointment online. The salon is very cute and has a nice view of the main street in Frederick. I was offered a beverage and was quickly seated for my blow out. The prices were also very reasonable. The hair stylist was so friendly and did a wonderful job with my hair despite the fine nature that is prone to frizz. It was def worth the money!!

I have been going to Structures for a couple years. I randomly picked Paulette for my first visit and haven’t gone to anyone else. She is awesome. She is very patient with me when I am trying to construe what I want which is never easy for me. She always has good suggestions and tips!

I love this salon! Everyone is super nice and attentive. Kyle does my hair and she is absolutely amazing. She provides detailed information about the process of the service and was fun to chat with as she did my hair. I'll be going back for sure.

I had my first appointment here last weekend with Cam, for a haircut and partial highlights. I LOVE how it turned out! Cam was so friendly and really listened to what I wanted. She asked lots of questions and made the whole experience enjoyable. The salon is in a beautiful building right on the creek; you can people-watch while getting your hair done which I love. I think the prices are reasonable too. 100% recommend!

Today I got my roots done and had a double foil. Cam worked her magic and my hair looks beautiful. Absolutely obsessed with how it turned out. She listened to exactly what I wanted, which is a HUGE deal regarding hair. She also gave me an amazing head massage and perfect blow out. I couldn’t be more happy, I can’t wait to come back soon. In terms of the pricing I would say it’s more than reasonable. If you’re debating going here or are looking for a new Salon I highly recommend Structures.

Added 07/28/23 - Another great experience at Structures! I went in with no idea what I wanted for my style other than short. Tiffani was so kind and patient listening to my rambling questions and offering her style suggestions. I came out with a cute pixie cut that is perfect for summer heat. Thanks Tiffani and Structures! Talia was excellent! I had no idea what I wanted my hair to look like but I gave her very general ideas/requests and she designed a style that I love. Plus she was pleasant and professional during the entire appointment. I will definitely be back!

Had an exceptional experience at Structures. Kristen did a whole new color and highlight - from brown to white blonde. We broke it up into two sessions - a week apart. I LOVE my new color as it blends well with my new light gray coming in. I would highly recommend this salon and Kristen is the absolute best!

I’ve gone to Cam twice now whenever I’m in town and she is a gem. Knows what she’s doing, does exactly what I envision. I’m always so happy with my final results. 10/10 would recommend her! And this is such a cute salon, right over the creek, and has a round the room window view. Definitely check it out!

This place is fantastic. My hair looks and feels amazing every time I come here. Britany has been great to work with and the staff are so welcoming. The atmosphere is always very clean and nice. You even get a nice view of Downtown. Definitely a long-term customer here. 1000/10 recommend.

Arrived 20 minutes early, as I was getting a blowout for my son's wedding. I booked it weeks before when the receptionist said it's about 30-40 minutes. When I arrived, I was told that she had meant to call me because somehow Kyle was overbooked. After 20 minutes, receptionist said I could be seen but only by the "apprentice." DISASTER. I will not fault the student because that is what she is. I fault the receptionist who books appointments, the manager who never once came to me to apologize, and Kyle for not getting involved and pushing someone else to a later time. I left in tears but hey! Instead of $55 they only charged me $25 for a blowout that I rushed home to fix. Do NOT use them, especially if you have something as important as your child's wedding. Frederick has a lot more choices.

It was very personal. Everyone smiled and were so nice! Bonnie, at the desk is who you coordinate alot with, and very easy to work with. Recently, we all had our hair and makeup done here for my daughter's wedding. Everyone had experience and knew exactly what they were doing and we all looked great, better than great. They did my daughter's hair and makeup especially well, just exquisite!
