Luis gives nothing less than 5 star service. His skills combined with his hospitality make the experience something you want to share with everyone you care about. I met Luis by chance when our paths randomly crossed. His personality struck me as unique and genuine. Needing a haircut, I decided to give him a chance and book an appointment. Luis is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I would recommend him to literally anyone. I’m a girl (27 female) and my hair has never looked healthier, the trims are making a legitimate difference in my length and I genuinely think Luis is the reason for me being so obsessed with my hair now. My mom has started going to him, my brother and my younger sister and we have nothing but GREAT things to say about Luis. Not only is his work amazing but he himself as a human being is so hardworking, grateful, fair in pricing. Grateful for Luis.. he is my best find in Scottsdale thus far!!!

I had an overnight stay at a local hotel and called Studio 251 Hair Salon to see about getting a haircut. Luis kindly scheduled me within a couple hours. He worked expertly for a good hour shaping my new bob cut. The shampoo and conditioner feels light and smells lovely. If I had more time I would have added highlights. I enjoyed chatting with Luis and he offed me wine or water as he worked away on my hair. After the cut he looked at his watch and said” I have an idea, I’ll give you a quick lift back to your hotel since I have about a half hour until my next client. It was well over 100 and I thanked him for his kindness. Please support Luis as he is a very talented stylist and just an all around good person. I will be back!

I have been going to Luis at Studio 251 for a year now. He is the Hair Whisperer for me. A Master Stylist and his presence is so positive. Always so accommodating. Before I met Luis I searched high and low for the right stylist. I am home. Luis is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have known Luis for most of my life, and he is a close family friend. He has been doing my hair for over four years and always does fantastic. Being an indecisive person about my hair, he always knows how to help me make up my mind, and it always turns out beautiful. He is such a friendly person and always wants to ensure you feel comfortable. He has seen my hair in every state it’s been in and has fixed my hair from being damaged in the past. I usually do not write reviews!!!! BUT I feel I must share my experience with you. I have been coming to Luis for almost 20 years, I follow him where ever he goes. He is so talented when it comes to hair. He listens to what you are saying and makes suggestions as to what would work best for you. He does it all from cut, color, highlights to perms!! And they all turn out beautifully. I highly recommend him!! Honestly you will not be disappointed!!

Luis is... incredible! I've been going to Luis now for probably close to 20 years - I've gladly followed him through life, no matter where he's at! From my first cut with him at Supercuts years ago as a teen (when I spiked my hair like crazy), through my twenties and into my thirties (where I had to tone things down a little and "grow up"), and now into today with a slightly receded hairline and into my late thirties, Luis hasn't only just cut my hair but has been a very good friend (and at the risk of sounding offensive, even a father figure.) He's literally seen me grow up over the years and we've shared numerous conversations about life's highs and lows, changes in thoughts and views, and the ins and outs of every road traveled for each of us! Graduation from high school and college, a few girlfriends, job interviews and through my career, me moving away, me coming back, and even for my marriage, he's always been my barber and prepped me for everything in life! He's just an awesome human being! He's always been able to understand and execute the way I want my hair cut and/or styled and I'll continue to visit him so long as he's cutting hair and I have something to cut! Thank you, Luis! I love you, man!

Simply put, Luis is a master at his craft. I have the type of hair that not everyone can work with. I've got very tightly curled ethnic hair that can have a mind of its own. Luis didn't bat an eye and did a beautiful job. I wasn't sure about the color I wanted. I got to tell you, He's amazing. It sounds cliché' but he really is exceptional. So patient and took the time to explain the pros and cons of the color I'd picked. He has an excellent eye and uses only top quality products. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair. I highly recommend him!

When I first met with Luis I had been going elsewhere and the cut and color of the person doing it before was just not good at all. Luis took the time to listen, answer my questions and gave me advise on the color and additional products he used and why. Luis is a master Goldwell colorist and a Sassoon trained stylist from the entertainment industry. His expertise and years of experience was and continues to be excellent, throughout the 7 years that I have been seeing him! Now that I'm recently retired I have decided to grow my gray out (which can be a scary endeavor) but Luis has been a wonderful guide in easily helping me through this journey. Even though I'm still not completely finished growing the gray out I still get a lot of compliments! So no matter your age, how long or short your hair is, or what colors you're interested in, I highly recommend him as you will always walk out of his salon feeling like a million dollars!!!

Luis is wonderful - as a professional, expert stylist and as a human being!! I've been going to Luis over 8 years now and was introduced to him by my husband who has been seeing Luis for close to 2 decades. He does such a wonderful job on my hair as both an expert colorist and stylist. I can't begin to count the number of appointments I've had over 8+ years and I have always walked away LOVING my hair!!!
