A-MAZ-ING! I've searched far and wide for the holy grail of hairstylists, and I'm thrilled to say I've finally found THE ONE! Tiff and her team are absolute rockstars. Not only did they squeeze me in for a maternity shoot with less than 24 hours' notice, but Tiff also worked magic on my short bob. She quickly diagnosed the issues, removed buildup, and matched my hair perfectly (no dye needed!). Bonus points for the great conversation, refreshments, and vibes. I'm obsessed with the results and will gladly make the trek from Austin, TX for a touch-up. Tiff's got a client for life! 10/10 would recommend

I go to Tiffany and she is amazing! I've never been able to run a comb through my natural hair, I've always had issues with detangling. Now I can run my detangling brush through my hair, no effort! I've never been able to sit in someone's chair stress free and not worry if my hair will come out right, Tiffany gets it right every time!

One stop shop. I’ve been going here for a few years and my install never fails. Quality work, quality hair and beautiful salon. I truly leave here a new person every time. Owner Tiffany is hands down the best stylist. Professional and simply the best at what she does.

Didn't even want to book an appointment. The customer service from phone call to text was terrible. It's as if they don't want any clients. Looking elsewhere, the verbiage on the "client need to know" link .. matches the tone of the stylists. Rude.

If you want hair done the right way, this is the place to come. I’m Dominican and moving to San Antonio from New York I went to every hair salon that you can think of. From Dominican hair salon, Puerto Rican hair salon, to Black/white owned hair salon and no one could get my hair done right. Studio 55 (Ms. Tiffany) is amazing, she knows what she is doing. I will never go back to another hair salon.

A jack of all trades ! Need a wig studio 55 is the place! Need a quick weave no problem studio 55 is the place ! You prefer to wear your natural hair studio 55 is your answer! It doesn’t matter what stylist or what style because studio 55 is able to service all your needs. I’ve had everything done from a quick weave , to a lace , to a sew in, to short hair and even natural hair . Any stylist there is able to service all hair types and nationalities. If you are look for a salon that is versatile and timeless studio 55 is the salon for you. I moved from Houston and it was hard finding a stylist that was so well versed but Studio 55 won me over hands down ! I’ve gone through so many phases and Studio 55 has met me at everyone . I’ve wanted to rock the short look sometimes by no choice because I wasn’t caring for my hair but Tiffany was able to get me back on track. Ask for Tiffany and tell her I sent you . You won’t be disappointed !

Been coming here since 2015 I will never go anywhere else for a silk press or install. Tiffany has been my go to for the past 2 years and I can’t imagine letting anyone else touch my hair. Best salon and best quality hair in all of San Antonio!

Supreme all around experience and LOVE my hair. Being a person who is picky about anyone touching my hair I got the BEST service and even more than what I expected. My hair looks AH-MA-ZING. Shout out to Tiffany who is an expert stylist who delivers the goods and is an ultimate professional. Shout out to the scheduling people as well. So wonderful to have a professional with the skills to match. Highly recommend to anyone. So grateful!

Tiffany did an excellent job installing my tape-ins! The workers are prompt and professional while booking an appointment and responding to any questions. Everything has been a luxurious experience from the 1st moment of walking into the salon, until leaving. I cannot wait to book my next appointment! Wouldn’t recommend getting a silk press here if you have 4C hair and if you’re tender headed lol. Tiffany did my hair so damn rough I could’ve cried. Then my silk press looked like I tried to do it myself with a flat iron on low heat.

Ms. Tiffany is one-of-a-kind! Studio 55 is such a luxe experience and every one is such a vibe and personable. The Jazzy hair I purchased is great quality and blends so well. I love coming to Tiffany because she's an artist, and the transformations never disappoint!

I LOVE STUDIO 55 I’m an ole G to the salon. Truthfully I am very picky when it comes to hair I am also a weave queen and very much so value the treatment of hair. I’m a straight shooter. I only can/will speak on what I know and I KNOW FOR SURE… Mrs. Tiffany is A1 when it comes to sew in/weave/wig. She is very talented when it comes to sew ins/weave/wigs hands down the best in San Antonio that I’ve seen. I am certain she is talented in everything else but again I will speak on what I get from her. I always support and admire black own businesses. It is hard being Black let alone to own a business yet she does it. When I leave from her chair I feel and look like a brand new person. I pray that God continues to bless her her business and those around her. Go Tiff!!!! LOVE y’all @Studio 55!!!

I LOVE Studio 55!!!!! My experiences with Megan and the staff are always AMAZING, from the conversations to the 5-star salon service!!! I’ve been going to Megan for about three years and haven’t been to another stylist since! She’s very knowledgeable, professional, and very intentional about her work and the health of her client’s hair. Plus, her coloring skills are 10/10 !!!

I have been looking for a Black stylist in San Antonio for awhile & I have finally found one. Megan is amazing & she made me feel comfortable about my hair that I’m trying to get back healthy. She is a responsive stylist & you can tell she cares about her work. If you decide to get a sew in , their Jazzy hair quality is amazing. No shedding and there are plenty of different hair textures / styles to choose from.

I love this salon l, I have been going to different salons throughout my life, but I MUST SAY I will continue to go to this salon even if I move out of the state. I currently live in Brownsville tx , I do travel 5 and half hours to get my hair done . My Stylist is Megan, although I must admit no matter who you go to in the salon, every Stylist does work to perfection The hair they sell is beautiful trust me ladies don’t buy hair just talk to them be open and let them do the work;). They provide quality hair that last. Ladies if you want color like wow 🤩 they customize the color NO package hair you will find in that salon . Trust me ladies!!!!! I can keep going but make that call 📱 you will thank me later lol 😂.PS to my readers I hope your the the type to take care of your hair if not this place is not for you, I say that because they do not believe in keeping weaves in your hair or glue they want the best so if you go leaving the shop beautiful and it’s on point you can’t go back with not taken care of your hair that’s not how this shop works it’s a 50/50 relationship they due there part we due ours by keeping up with our appointments. I recently moved from Florida and this was my first time with Tiffany, and this has been the most amazing experience thus far. I've been to hairstylists who didn't really care about the health of your hair, but Tiffany cared, she recommended the treatments for my hair and scalp and she did such an amazing job and I absolutely love my hair she did it exactly how I wanted it. She's very professional and we had great conversations while getting my hair done and I was out in a timely manner. I have finally found my hairstylist that cares! Thank you Tiffany!

I visited the website a few times. 2 stars because everything looked great. Reviews, pictures, and all that. So once I was ready to book, I gave them a call. But the young lady on the phone was very rush rush and short with me. She didn't explain anything to me as i was asking questions since it would have been my 1st visit. So anyway I decided not to pay them a visit. I need a place that's more understanding and patience with me.

I’ve been seeing Megan for close to 6 years now. She silk presses my hair as I need over the years and let me tell you, she’s the best. She’s thorough, hospitable and not rude at all. She’s fast and never discourages you from a style you please to have. Growing up in a black hair salon environment, I’ve seen it all from rude owners, rude stylist, stylist who discourage you from getting a style and more. Not Megan, she’s very intention with your hair and you can tell she loves what she does. If she’s running behind, she communicates with you with kindness and apologizes. Some stylist never care and can be inconsiderate of your time. I can so see her getting her own spot with all her fabulous clientele loving on her more with more & more success as she continues to stay the best! Best in the shop!

Studio 55 is a vibe. Specifically, my first impression of the stylist Tiffany is that she is a straight shooter. I was unsure of how my hair should be styled with new products. When I showed her examples, she explained in detail how the image would match with what I would get. It gave me the opportunity to what would work best for me while getting the look I wanted. I also appreciated her directness to ensure I understood the process and the current state of my hair.

Amazing! Tiffany is so skilled and confident in her craft! You know that feeling when you get a hair style that you’re so excited about, you can’t wait to get home to show your family… this is exactly how I felt! I raced home!! You can feel the expertise in everything that Tiffany does. She was very honest about the state of my natural hair and did a long deep steam conditioning to start the process of getting me back to good. I could feel a difference in just one treatment. I also bought hair from her Jazzy Collection and was very impressed with the quality and feel!! If you want a true stylist, who knows what she’s doing… Tiffany is the one. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Customer service is so unprofessional and rude. I called to schedule an appointment and the owner (Tiffany) answered the phone. She was rushing the conversation and was short with me scheduling my appointment. I should have stopped there and cancelled the appointment, but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. I then arrived to my appointment. She literally TORE through my hair. I have 4C type hair so it is extremely curly. She told me that my hair was very healthy when she was washing it. After she washed my hair we went into the main area where the other stylists were and she started styling my hair. She was talking loud saying my hair was not healthy and I had a “longgg” way to go to get it back healthy. So unprofessional and fake. Other people have called her mean and she tries to justify herself by saying she’s not “mean”, she is just passionate about her work and she “means” business but don’t buy into that. There’s a HUGE difference between being straightforward and mean. Tiffany is mean and there must be some truth to it considering how many people have said that about her. She also has a new boutique open. I wouldn’t recommend neither one of her locations to anyone because of how she treats her customers and the she talks down about other hair stylists that sell extensions in the San Antonio area. 0/10 recommend!!!

I am in love with Studio 55. It's so cozy and comfortable all the while being completely professional and cutting edge. The entire staff is so personable and welcoming from the moment you walk in that you immediately feel at ease and know you're in good hands. My stylist Is Ms.Tiffany She is bright and cheerful , has amazing skill and product knowledge been going to her for 2 yrs and she has never failed me ❤️

I called to see if they could help me with my three-year-old daughter’s hair. She has very coily hair, and it is long and getting unruly. I just asked if they could help shape it up so that when we wash and go and use product it will be more manageable. I was basically told that a child’s hair should never be cut until they are at least 5-6 years old and that wash and go’s are completely inappropriate because my child’s hair would be wet walking around. I just felt like I was being dismissed and being talked down to. I am not used to being talked to in this way, and I just would appreciate more professionalism, especially when trying to ask for help and guidance. I absolutely think IT IS completely appropriate to get some kind of a shape for a child’s hair…even if they are 3. I think it would also help her hair stay better moisturized and prevent breakage down the road if there are less tangles because the overall shape and length are able to be managed by the child’s parent better.

I was so impressed with the quality of care and expertise that Tiffany provided when servicing my hair!! She directly and clearly explained the state of my hair and suggested a healthy hair regimen while wearing a traditional sew in. I explained to her what I was looking for and she confidently executed even better than I imagined! I felt completely transformed leaving her chair! Tiffany is an exceptional, and gifted stylist that is confident and passionate about her craft and I can’t wait until my next visit with her! Thank you, Tiffany! Mrs.Tiffany truly transformed my hair! My hair had a lot of breakage and split ends, it was hard to even get a brush through. On the first try she got the color I wanted and I’m just in love with my hair! It’s never looked healthier. I’m obsessed!!! It’s so much better than I imagined. Cut, color, and STS treatment.

Where to start? Alot of the 1 star reviews sound similar to my wife's and I experience with this shop. Long story short my wife called the shop to make an appointment and was told by the receptionist Chloe to make the deposit and call back to confirm the appointment which she did. My wife then asked several questions in regards to prepare for her appointment and she was getting cut off and rushed off the phone and told "I don't tell customer's what to do with their hair. She called back and canceled her appointment because she was frustrated at the lack of respect. She then tried calling back the next day but it went to voicemail and she left a message and then called back an Hr later and realized that her number was blocked and tried calling back by blocking her number and the phone rang until the voicemail kicked in. I decided to call the shop myself to see if I could figure out what was going on and get a resolution. I politely asked to speak with a manager and the women on the phone says i can help you. I didn't get a name but i can only assume it was Tiffany based on our exchange because she told me that she was sitting next to the receptionist and heard the exchange between my wife and her. I then asked ok what can we do about this either we come to an agreement or I will have to file a complaint against them if we cannot agree. Once she heard that she was triggered and proceeded to berate me on the phone and call my wife a lair and that she's in the business of customer service but the customer is this case is not right and etc... I kept telling her I'm not here to argue and I could care less about the exchange but your not going to call my wife a liar and expect me to get defensive. The conversation pretty much went nowhere and I caught her in a lie and she tried to deny it and play the victim role like I was harassing her. I politely told her I was going to hang up because I'm not here to argue with a women and hung up. Ladies in San Antonio I strongly encourage you not to visit this establishment at all apparently customer service is something that this owner and her employees need to learn how to provide!
