I started getting my hair done by Kelly 8ish years ago and have literally followed her around as she’s moved ever since. I can’t get over how patient she is and her attention to detail. I used to always get a detailed split end haircut and she would always take her time trying to trim as many split ends as she could (and believe me, there were SO many). Over the years I’ve had Kelly dye my hair, do keratin treatments, cut it curly or straight, wet or dry. She always makes sure she understands what I’m wanting and offers solid advice and suggestions when I ask for them. I’ve never been disappointed in my results. Highly recommend, she won’t let you down!!

If I could recommend her to everyone I would! Kelly is beyond amazing with what she can do with your hair. She'll take you from dark brunette to blonde and keep your hair as undamaged as possible and make the best recommendations for those of us who have not as much hair as others. I cannot say enough great things about her, the conversation, the cuts, the color... chefs kiss!

Super thoughtful and precise! Kelly always does an amazing job, both cuts and color. Her space is always clean, comfortable and welcoming. Plus she has the best shampoo/scalp massage in the biz!

I have been coming to Kelly for years! I recently moved away and still manage to see her at least a few times a year. She is my go-to stylist! She gives me a great cut and I enjoy my time with her.

Kelly has been doing my hair for 9 years now(since 2015). I absolutely love her personality and her skills. I’ve never been unsatisfied with my haircut or highlights. She’s the best!

Kelly is amazing!!! She is an incredible hair stylist and I always walk out of her salon with an even better haircut than i imagined. She's so talented and really listens to what you want. Not only is she a great fabulous amazing hair dresser/stylist, her playlists are always bomb!! I honestly don't trust anyone but her with my hair!

Kelly is the best! I’ve been getting my hair cut by her for the last 5+ years. She is consistent and I am at the point where I just let her do her thing with my hair because she is that good. Oh and her salon is always clean and welcoming!

(Google has this posted under my husband's name, but this is my review.) If I could give Kelly ten times the number of stars I would. She has been my hair stylist and colorist for, I think, almost ten years. She's just really, really, REALLY good at her job. She has helped my daughter through some crazy color changes, helped her navigate from dark to platinum and back again, all while maintaining healthy hair. Not all hair stylists can be trusted with changes that complicated. She has helped me fine tune maintaining my natural color as the gray took over. I can bring her a picture of some new hair cut/style I want to try and she gets it done successfully every time. Seriously and sincerely, simply cannot recommend her highly enough.

I have been going to Kelly for over 10 years. She is the best hair stylist around, especially when it comes to short hair. She is attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. The hair cut is perfection, the color is superb, and the style is fantastic. Studio 69 is the place for all things hair!

I have been going to Kelly for over 10+ years. Even though I moved to LA 4 years ago, I make the drive to SD for Kelly to do my hair. I tried others in LA and haven’t been happy. So, I will continue to drive to SD. My hair always looks and feels great after Kelly cuts and styles my hair. She is just the BEST!!!!!

If you’re looking for someone who an eye for attention to detail, Kelly is your girl. I’ve been following her to every salon for over 10 years. I have thick, coarse, dark hair that needs a lot of detail and precision. She’s given me trendy bobs, long pastel locks, and natural body wave perms. She is my go to girl for any of my hair adventures. Not only is she talented, she is very personable and makes you feel heard. Her whimsical, free spirited attitude makes my experience with her even more amazing.

I’ve always loved going to see Kelly ever since I found her at Carmel Mountain HS Salon back some ten years ago. I know I can rely on her for an amazing hair cut each time no matter what I’m looking to have done, she never fails to impress. I’ve recommended so many of my friends to her for colors, highlight, she’s done weddings for friends and fixed more than one hair tragedy. Truly a miracle worker and great person. It’s hard not to say too many good things about her.

I’ve been going to Kelly for more than a decade because she is terrific! I’ve loyally followed her when she’s changed locations over the years because I trust her with my hair. She is the best colorist and has also done both of my kids’ hair too. Color, cut, highlights, styling, she does it all! She is skilled, experienced, friendly, and her new studio space is private and quiet too.

I’ve had my hair cut by Kelly for many many years now, and I wouldn’t go to anyone else! She understands hair, shape, and style in such a fundamental way so as to make the cut you want suit YOUR face well. She thinks ahead so that you walk out with the cut you want that day and for weeks to come. She also does color super well and her prices are so reasonable for the skilled work she does. Highly recommended!!

Kelly always provides excellent service whether it’s a haircut and blow dry or coloring! I get compliments every time she highlights my hair. She also uses quality products that do not damage your hair. I highly recommend Kelly at Studio 69!!!

She is not only the kindest and most real human being, but she really takes her time doing a consultation. Kelly is the best!!!! She’s very knowledgeable and skillful. Got my hair from Black to platinum super quick and it looks amazing every time. Kelly really took care of me, sent me home with purple shampoo to maintain my platinum hair. All around a great experience!

My daughter and I have been a customer of Kelly’s for a few years. She is an absolute professional. Kelly is so talented and knowledgeable in her craft. Just delivers every time! She always takes time to listen to me and my daughter about the hairstyle we are hoping for and the outcome is always better than what we imagined. My son Mason and I started seeing Kelly 9 years ago when my son was only 7, now he’s 16 and still the only stylist we trust with his curls. Now my whole family sees Kelly and her personality is amazing, and resonant with children, teens, and adults. I couldn’t give her 6 stars because that wasn’t an option LOL, but if it was I would’ve.

Can’t say enough positives about experiences with Kelly. Not only does she cut my hair but has done both my children. My teenage son has thick curly hair which is a challenge as well. Her prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend Kelly!

I’ve been seeing Kelly for about 6 years now which says A LOT considering how hard it is to find a good hairstylist that is consistent. Kelly pays close attention to every strand of your hair to make sure the color blends perfectly. She also listens when you ask for just a trim. I have included some pictures from when Kelly did my hair for my wedding this past June. I got so many compliments and it lasted the entire time while dancing and sweating the night away! Do yourself and hair a favor by going to Kelly :)

Kelly is likely the best stylist I've ever had work on my hair. That's why I've been returning for 20+ years. My wife too! I'm a simple cut but the quality of styling and color she does for my wife is beyond outstanding. Kelly is the bomb dot com!! My husband found her about 10 years ago. Bless his heart, he didn't have much hair, but he was particular about how it was cut. Yes, just a clipper cut, but particular. Turns out she was the only one who could get it right. I finally started taking our boys to her because I couldn't find anyone to cut their hair right (and my youngest was a total pain in the a$$ when he got his hair cut, he hated it). Kelly did an amazing job, not only at cutting their hair, but actually making it a pleasant experience for them AND mom!! My mom and I also go to Kelly and we are very particular about our hair (what a shock). Beyond her talent, she is a very special person!! You gotta go try her!!
