Make sure you clarify whether you want the school or the salon. I thought the number I called to book was specifically for the school and not just a generic phone number so I went into my appointment thinking it was going to be $25 for a cut and blow dry. I did not realize I had been booked for the regular salon and it ended up costing $140 for a trim and subpar blow out. This was the most I’ve ever spent on a haircut and the least impressed I’ve ever been. After expressing my frustration to the manager, she said the best she could offer was my next haircut free at the school which is only $25 worth of compensation.

Best haircut I've ever had. The knowledge and expertise Nick brings to cutting hair is on another level, he truly understands hair texture and density, and the way hair naturally grows and moves, so when he's finished you have a cut that is flattering, healthy, and manageable. Will absolutely book another cut here.

Unprofessional. Came for a consultation and was told I would get called back tomorrow. Never did. Called myself and was told they’d call back in a couple days. When you cut off a piece of my hair for a sample I’d like to expect they’d call me back when they told me they would.

Worst service by colorist chantel I asked for natural highlighting instead she gave me burned orange yellow color hair. And front desk didn’t bother to ask me how was the service. I was crying so I told her I didn’t like the service. They said comeback and get dark tone or go back to black so why am I paying for highlight if they suggest me to back to black color and .front desk ask me to pay full service today even though I was not happy at all with this service for this amount of money.this place is not good any more . Not for the amount I paid. I could have gotten this orange yellow hair color for $70 anywhere I won’t comeback here ever. Waist of time and money.I wish I could give zero review for todays service. I miss Zachery he was the best colorist.

Great experience with the super talented Roe. The Arrojo salon has taken great care during this pandemic by making all of their customers feel safe with all theirs after measures (masks, dividers, hand sanitizer, & social distancing procedures). Will definitely return for another great styling experience.

This is one of the great salons of New York. "Cutting" edge style, very nice people and super clean. I love all the locations. Each is special and, of course, I always walk out better looking than when i went in.

This place is amazing. I was referred by a friend and have seen both Jennifer and Isobel. They are both absolutely lovely people who radiate positive energy and their passion for hair is contagious. They really listened my needs and provided helpful advice. I loved both my cuts and left feeling like a new woman each time. 10/10 would recommend. If it's your first visit ask for a new client discount. You can pay with a card but you have to tip in cash or Venmo.

If you want good hair days, everyday, go see Celiann in the Williamsburg location! Celiann has been cutting my hair for about 3 years and she ALWAYS exceeds my expectations, and gives her honest opinion of what will look best on you. I change my hair often and every style I’ve thrown at her, she always customizes the cut to best fit me. She has an eye for haircuts, and I get constant compliments on my cut even months after I’ve gotten it done. Oh, and her shampoos and blowouts are the best. If I could find time to get blowouts done by her every week, I would. I can’t say enough good things about her, go book with her ASAP!

The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere itself is very beautiful and welcoming. They are accommodating as well with hot drinks or cold ones. If you do not like something or are unhappy they easily fix the problem for you to make you happy. I love zach and jessica thats my go to people for coloring and hair. The salon is very clean and modern looking. I love coming here and always excited!
