I’ve been coming to Studio S since they opened and Kali has been doing my hair for the last 3 years. We recently did a huge transformation - going from Blonde to Cherry red and she absolutely killed it!! The inspo pics I showed her can’t even compare to how good my hair came out! She’s a master of her craft. I can’t recommend her enough!!

From the consultation to the final product, the way Michelle makes sure that you're communicated to about each step and how to about maintenance and just the detail she has to her craft is absolutely amazing. As a first time client here, I've had overall just an amazing experience.

Mariya is one of the best hair stylists I have gone to get my hair done! She has taken me from blonde, back to dark brown, and now highlights. I trust her to make sure my hair stays healthy whenever I want to change it up. She is very transparent on the process and what I should expect, while also including fun recommendations. I couldn’t recommend Mariya more if anyone wants to go blonde or get a fresh haircut and make sure it’s done right!

Had such a lovely overall experience at Studio S. On a hot Brooklyn day I was greeted with a cool Eucalyptus towel and a friendly smile. My cut by Michelle was perfect. For my wavy hair, the proof is in the first wash at home and her cut allowed my natural hair's texture to come through. Michelle was open to my requests and to hearing how my hair behaves. She added her expertise to help me walk out looking great! The salon is clean and inviting and filled with many beautiful well-cared for plants. I enjoyed the entire experience and will definitely be back. Thank you Michelle!

I got my haircut over the weekend with Michelle and she gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time! She took her time on my hair and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. The Salon S experience was great as a whole and I will absolutely be back!

I had a wonderful experience at Studio S with Scott. I have very curly/frizzy hair and am going gray around my face. After listening to my concerns and explaining his recommendations, Scott gave me a fantastic cut (he definitely understands curly hair issues). The color looks very natural, exactly what I asked for, and my hair looks and feels much healthier. I highly recommend him.

I love Korin!!! I used to get my hair done by her while I lived in Austin, and now that I'm back in NY, I continue to see her. I have very thick, curly hair, and she knows exactly what to do with it, which is challenging to find in a hairstylist. Further, she goes out of her way to suggest new treatments or products that would work with my texture. I also love her personality. She's fun to chat with, but she is also working hard at the same time.

Korin is the best! I have been coloring my hair from brown to bleach blonde for the past year with Korin; the experience and the outcome is beyond amazing! I look great, feel great and the compliments are endless. With her immense knowledge, she has taught me so much about the coloring process and is nothing but kind, personal and attentive. My go-to salon since moving to Brooklyn. I've had cuts and color done by Scott, Sarah, Michelle, and Kali so far, and all have been superb. Transparent pricing, expert styling, and deep knowledge about haircare and products. Recently, Michelle transformed my long layers into a lob and really took the time and attention to give me a great cut. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Studio S salon with Scott! My hair was in desperate need of a good cut when I came in and I've been in a rut with my hair for years. It was immediately clear that Scott is super knowledgeable about hair and he gave me a cut that I have gotten SO MANY compliments on since (and is super easy to style, too!). Additionally, the salon is great -- everyone is super nice and I love when a hair salon offers drinks / coffee / snacks. Can't wait to come back!

Studio S is definitely my new go-to studio! I just moved to NYC recently and was looking for a hair stylist that was in my budget and did good work and Leslie checks off both of those boxes, plus the salon itself is in such a convenient location right of the F train. In regards to my hair, Leslie always listens to exactly what i want and works with me to figure out the best option for upkeep and such. I always have the best experience and am look forward to going back :)

Studio S is the best! Before finding Scott, I bounced around stylists for years and felt like no one was really listening to me about my hair concerns. I ended up just resigning myself to not liking my hair. Then I met Scott/Studio S. He takes the time to really understand your concerns and explains his perspective and plan in simple terms. I have been seeing him for 18 months now and have truly never loved my hair more. Cannot recommend Scott and his whole team enough.

I book with Leslie and she is so talented and makes me feel so confident and great whenever I see the cut and style she gives me. You cannot go wrong here - it is accesible, fairly priced and everyone makes you feel like you belong there.

I have been seeing Scott for a few years now, and it has been the best relationship with a hair stylist I have had. I have thin, fragile, curly hair that has always been difficult to style. Scott took the time to listen to me and what I wanted, learn about my hair, and help me set long-term hair goals that he could support me working towards with the hair cuts. My hair feels healthy, curlier, and longer than it has before. Studio S will stay my go-to salon!

Scott is THE BEST. As someone with somewhat complicated hair (curly in the back/bottom layers, straighter in the front/on top; plus there’s a lot of it and it grows fast; plus it’s gradually graying), I never really knew what to do with my hair. Several good stylists made several ideas work, but my hair never truly felt like “me” until Scott helped me gradually home in on a hairstyle that I love so much, is easy to maintain, and really feels like me. I would have never known how to even describe, or known that it would work for me. I get so many compliments it’s not even funny. Scott has also taught me so much about hair care and styling. I followed him here from a previous salon and now I just hope he never leaves! Thank you Scott.

All I was looking for was a simple trim, but Leslie made the entire experience so amazing for me! I gave full trust in the cut & style without having much personal preferences, and my hair came out better than I could’ve wanted for myself. Studio S is the perfect place to go to for any of your hair needs. They get quite booked (and for good reason), so it’s better to call before hand & book an appointment. I met Scott at his previous Salon. I have very long, very old, and dyed red hair and have been with the same colorist for decades. She closed and I needed to find a new colorist. It was a terrifying prospect to change after so many years. I found Scott by reputation and after a consultation decided to go with my instinct and trust. It’s been such an incredible experience and I cannot recommend Scott more highly. He is masterful, professional, warm, and caring. My hair has never looked or felt this good. S Salon is a fabulous oasis. Stylish. Welcoming. Great hospitality on top of great care. I’m grateful and thrilled!

Scott is absolutely amazing!! I always look forward to my appointment at Studio S. He takes his time to perfect your hair and communicates with you each step of the way. I am a brunette and he gave me my dream blonde highlighted hair. There is the highest quality service and products used. My hair always feels healthier after an appointment and my blonde NEVER gets brassy even months after. I can always trust him. The ambiance and vibe at Studio S is everything you would want in a salon. My favorite salon ever!!!

Scott is fantastic! I followed him over from Little Lion and am so glad I did! I am not a "hair" person and feel like I do a terrible job of knowing what will work on me and look good. Scott always listens and even more, seeks out feedback after you've settled into your new cut or color. I had never done any color in my hair until I wanted to start covering up my "silvers." Scott eased me into it and this go around I allowed him a bit more freedom with the color. I am adjusting to this new look, but it really, really helped when a coworker told me unsolicited that she loves my new color and that if she saw me on the street and didn't know me she would never know I'd gotten my hair done and that it looks "expensive." I've never colored my hair because I've always wanted to look natural and kudos to Scott for making my hair color look that way even when it isn't!
