This was my first visit to Studio Thirty-Six. I had the good fortune to get an appointment with Zachary. The salon is very welcoming. Received an AMAZING shampoo which for me is so important, but in many salons, giving fabulous shampoos has become a lost art. Zachary was really lovely. Definitely listened to my concerns and what I wanted to achieve with my cut. Equally important, he took the time to discuss styling techniques he was using that I could use at home. Lastly, meeting Baly is just good for your soul!

I am a new client at Studio Thirty-Six and this salon is truly a welcoming space. I came in with hair with a questionable dying history, and Morgan gave me a beautiful full highlight. The space is very clean and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. Morgan was awesome, she strived to ensure that my hair was exactly how I wanted it.

I was so excited to try this place out since the reviews are so good but I didn't have the same experience. The salon looks very nice and the receptionist was super friendly. However, my stylist (Jen) wasn't friendly at all, which is fine we all have off days. But she also did not do a great job on my hair. I came in for all over color and did a deep purple and asked to style my hair curly. There was dye all over my forehead when she took the cape off and sent me on my way. I had to ask for a towel to scrub it off myself. She also got dye on my wallet/purse. Every bit of moisture was sucked out of my hair and towel dried before attempting to difuse it curly. My roots also came out a few shades lighter than the rest of my hair. 3 weeks later there is no color left in my hair at all. I felt like i could have done a better job myself and wasted $120. I'm sure this salon does good work but I wanted to share my experience since it unfortunately was not so good.

Zach does an amazing job with the cut and color on my hair. His attention to detail is a rare find these days. Salon is beautiful too!

I cannot rave about Dede & studio 36 highly enough- wonderful environment, all the employees were very friendly and relaxed which put me at ease. Dede took her time with me, talked me through what she was doing and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted, and then delivered. If any other queer folk are looking for a safe, affirming, and damn good hair service I’d definitely check them out!

I get so freaking nervous when I get my haircut but Dede made it so comfortable and enjoyable. She has a great vibe and just amazing. I love my haircut so much. I needed one reeeaaalll bad. Definitely go visit her.

Jenny is very talented! She did wonders in correcting an oops. The salon is a comfortable environment. The prices are in line with other salons in the area. If you are like me and not originally from around here, the prices may seem high, but it was worth knowing my oops would be corrected properly.

the team here is incredible! very welcoming and passionate staff, clean environment, also drinks offered on arrival. i always get such high compliments once leaving. i've been a couple times and i can say i only trust zach with my hair, he is so talented and he just gets it. i highly recommend you check them out!

I recently had the pleasure of my first visit with Dede for a much needed hair appointment. I had a fabulous appointment. She was easy to connect with and talk to and her knowledge of all things about hair was great. I love to visit a stylist that I can sit in the chair and let them create! I walked out with a beautiful cut with low lights and a plan to take my hair to new levels over time. I can’t wait to see what my next appointment brings! I would highly recommend this salon! Dede was excellent and I have heard great things about many of the other stylists.

I've been to Studio Thirty Six three different times (so far) and can say that the level of professionalism, customer service, and skill is top notch. The staff is friendly and attentive and the environment is bright and welcoming. Small note- I also really like the text message appointment reminders!

Before finding Dede, I had seen at least 3 different colorists to help me transition to grey. Colorists will not tell you where their capabilities or patience is limited- and grey transitions mandate both. DeDe is everything you hope your colorist to be; honest, professional, and patient with the capability to communicate her vision on how to make the transition happen.

I had my first experience yesterday at Studio Thirty Six with Dede. OMG, it far exceeded my expectations. After my longtime stylist moved away I spent months researching, reading reviews and looking on Instagram and decided to visit the salon and request Dede. Not only was she a true pleasure to be around, but her knowledge, creativity and attention to detail made me extremely comfortable and immediately at ease. I now trust her vision fully and cannot wait for future visits!

Wonderful service, DD is a amazing person, and a great hair stylist with awesome green glasses 😁 highly recommend everyone to come to this location for a great overall heart warming personality
