Since I put my faith in Tim to work his magic, I’ve received compliments on my hair from dudes who normally wouldn’t notice if my clothes were on backwards and inside out. All the rave reviews are well deserved, for both results and total experience.

First time at the salon and even with a last minute cancellation last week he was very welcoming. Starting point was self-shaved hair from four months ago. Disaster. Tim worked out a plan that actually fitted mine and I already look much better. I used to go to a place in West Chester but it felt too ladylike for me. They were intimidated by my short hair. Even before the shaving action. So thumbs up!

I just moved to the city and was looking for a new and skilled hair dresser. After some research, I chose Tim. I knew from the start that he was very talented by how he explained and listened to what I wanted done with my hair. (I’m a natural darker blonde and I get some very bold and white blonde money pieces) which most hair stylist i’ve met, tend to mess it up. He took his time and was a great chat. The prices are extremely reasonable for the services you get from him and I’m so happy I found a hair dresser I can stick with. The place is also very pretty.

Absolutely loved my experience at Studio You! I came to town for a wedding and needed service for an updo. It’s always a challenge for out-of-towners finding the right salon for “pop-in” service, especially when it’s pretty last minute as was the case with me. I knew I made a great choice just from initial inquiry call. Tim, the owner, had such a friendly, welcoming greeting on the phone right from the start and was very accommodating with scheduling! He scheduled my appt with Jamie, his wife, who did a phenomenal job and recreated my exact vision!! They were such a delight to talk with as well. If I lived in the area they would no doubt be my home salon, and if I’m ever back in downtown Cinci for an event I know EXACTLY where to go for fabulous service!!

Beth really delivered!! As a mom it’s easy to put off getting my hair done so I was looking for something low maintenance that could last a while between cuts. Beth really took the time to understand my lifestyle and executed exactly what i was looking for. She was knowledgeable and knew what I was talking about even when I had hard time describing what it was I wanted! A magical experience!

I had received 2 haircuts from Tim & both cuts was great, however on my 3rd appointment in August 2023 I requested no shampoo or product in hair since I had just colored it & it was still damp. The price jumped to $70 for just a trim. Was not informed ahead of time of the price increase. Being upfront & honest with customers is very important. Very disappointed!! My last visit at this salon.

OMG you have to check out this gorgeous salon! The chandeliers, brick, wood and lighting make me feel like I’m at a Day Spa. The owner, Tim, followed in his father’s footsteps as a renown stylist in Cincinnati. He worked wonders, giving me a short, sassy cut with warm blonde highlights - and the compliments from my friends are crazy cool! Highly recommend!!! But be sure to schedule in advance because his schedule pushes out a few weeks.

Tim is an exceptional hair stylist who can work wonders with anyone's hair - thick, thin, unruly, straight or curly. I have seen some his beautiful works of art. I have never had a better haircut or experience. I used to go to to the barber down in OTR, or the great clips if I was desperate. This is my 4th time at Tim's- to put it simply, you can't get a better haircut downtown.

I've been so very happy with my service, and how my hair feels after my it's cut. My hair feels so silky smooth. Tim is very knowledgeable about hair. I came in a couple times and wanted a certain style.... because my hair is to thin, here would ask me about another style I would like to have and have me suggestions.

I was in dire need of a haircut, and Tim came to my rescue! He got me in very last minute on a Saturday afternoon. I needed more of a trim than I was expecting to get but I love it. My curly hair looks fantastic, and I can feel a big difference. Tim is not a product pusher, which I greatly appreciate.
