got my dreads re-twisted by a guy he was cool and i liked my hair but there was bugs and roaches everywhere and there was a woman doing hair across from the chair i was sitting in and she was very aggressive and seemed like her and another worker was high off some type of drug maybe coke or some pills. they made me very uncomfortable and there were kids around as well. the bathroom was very outdated and had bugs but overall i am giving a 1 because the environment and the way some of the workers conducted themselves

what went from the best to the worst hair experience ever! walked in and god seated by christina she was nice until the whole situation went through. i asked for a color (root touch up) press and curl and a edge trim , she started to color my roots i offered her my own dye but she declined and said that she will use her own black dye. she washed my hair and blowdried everything was fine but then my scalp started to tingle i notified her she put the cool drying on and then we proceeded. i did not want to complain since i was a walk in so i let her continue. when we were done i liked the style and everything but my scalp was still tingling i left and went about my day why by the time i went to get into bed my hair was stuck together like plastic. no seriously like my hair got burned off or she used a chemical in my hair im not sure but i know something wasnt right ! i had to cut off 7 inches of my hair because of this. i went back up to the salon multiple times and i was always told she would be back later in the day. come to find out this information. christina is not a licensed hair stylists she is only allowed to do braiding on peoples hair and her sister tia is the shop owner. now like i said i dont know too much but isn't that illegal ? you are allowing your sister to braid (legal) and do hair like shampoo and conditioning (illegal) at a legalized Hair salon. im so upset with myself that i did not even notice she did not have a license on the wall at her booth. it is partially my fault but also as a business that is not safe or practical to have non professionals at the salon. And the fact that her sister tia was covering for her as the owner ! so ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE

Michael Powell deserves to get his license, revoked! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I took the weave he did down. As you can see from the pictures, my hair was healthy/growing and doing just fine until i let Michael Powell touch my hair. They say you can’t let everyone touch your hair, and I learned this lesson the hard way. I never would have thought Michael would do such a detrimental thing such as cut inches off of my hair and was never asked too. I asked for a trim and this is the damage he done to my hair! I was internally/emotionally hurt by this. Then the owner had the nerve to ask me if I wanted my money back! This was definitely not about no money, it was about the devastation I experienced behind this. Us women love our hair and to have had inches cut from my hair, really took a toll on my CONFIDENCE and SELF ESTEEM! Please don’t believe these fake reviews about this man/non stylist. PICTURES SAY A THOUSAND WORDS AND YOU CAN DEFINITELY FIGURE THESE OUT!😒 When I confronted him about it, he was very verbally and physically aggressive with me! He had no remorse and never even apologized for the damage he caused. All he was worried about was the negative comment I wrote on his instagram that he definitely deserved times 10. DO NOT TRUST HIM IN YOUR HAIR OR YOU WILL END UP SUFFERING.

WARNING!! DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE. MICHAEL THE STYLIST IN THE BACK, BURNED MY HAIR OUT SO BAD I WAS CRYING. I DIDN'T REALIZE HE BURNED MY HAIR OUT UNTIL I TOOK OUT THE EXTENSIONS HE INSTALLED IN MY HAIR. I TOLD HIM AND HE DID NOT COMPENSATE ME AT ALL. HE HAD A VERY BAD DISPOSITION INSTEAD. I WILL NEVER LET MY A** SIT IN HIS CHAIR OR ANYONE ELSES CHAIR again! Spare yourself the humiliation, disappointment, and dissatisfaction.

Do NOT GO TO THIS SALON TO GET YOUR HAIR DONE. I WENT TO GET MY HAIR PRESSED AND TRIMMED AND THE GUY WHO DOES HAIR HERE MICHAEL POWELL BURNED MY HAIR OUT AND CUT MY HAIR SO SHORT. I BELIEVE HE WAS HIGH OFF OF COKE WHEN HE DID MY HAIR. PLEASE DONT GO HERE TO BE DISAPPOINTED.

Michael Powell is the worst stylist I ever had my hair done by. He cut a lot of my hair off that I worked so hard to grow and care for when all I asked for was a trim. Beware of going to him if you are a walk-in. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

My stylist is the best, Michael Powell. Does a fantastic job every time I go in. My washer Niecey also does an excellent job while washing and massaging my scalp. They both work well together as a team, are accommodating, and make it a joy to come in.
