I have been going to Kevin for years and highly recommend him to anyone. I even live of state and make it a point to make a hair appt whenever I’m in town. Getting your done by someone new can always be intimidating, but Kevin’s skills will always give you a great cut/color. He has a great eye for what looks good on a person.

I originally met Kevin through pageants. I moved to NC a few years later, and couldn't find a good fit for a stylist in the town where I live. I remembered I knew Kevin, and started going to him. I drive two hours each way, and it is worth it. He's done my hair for a little over a year now. I like having the privacy of a small room instead of sitting in the midst of a large salon; I find it more relaxing. I get lots of compliments on my hair, and he always does a beautiful job.

Kevin has been my hairstylist for over 10 years. I met him at the old salon he used to work for where I had tried all the other stylists. A few minutes into our first haircut, he told me that he could tell which side I slept on because it changed the shape of my hair and he was going to make adjustments accordingly. No stylist in my life had ever paid that much attention to detail and I was so impressed. I booked another haircut and the rest is history. Not only is Kevin incredibly professional and meticulous about what he does, but he is so nice and extremely funny. Our haircuts were often laugh therapy for me during tough times and I always look forward to the next one. I have another friend who is also a client of Kevin's. We love "K" as we call him so much that we named our band "Hair by Kevin." The name alone got us a few gigs out of curiosity. While we're currently on pause, you should not be. If you need a good hairstylist, just make an appointment at StudioKray. You won't regret it.

He's a talented stylist who has taken me through many transitions - short hair, long hair, bangs, no bangs and various shades of color - no matter the look, Kevin makes me feel like a million bucks. He is dedicated to continuing education and staying up-to-date on trends, and the experience in his salon is fun too.
