I had such great service while I was here, they offered refreshments to me and my friends as soon as we walked in. I felt like my hair was in safe hands and the whole time Yvette was so kind and welcoming. Definitely recommend!!

Everyone in the salon was so friendly. Michael did a wonderful job with my blowout. It looked great and it lasted. And he was personable and fun to talk to. If I lived in CLT, I would definitely trust him with my hair all the time.

Had the best experience here! I came to Michael for my hair coloring and correcting and a lot of grown out high lights. He fixed it to perfection and saved my hair. I had the best cut I’ve ever had with him and styled at the end with a blowout. Highly recommend!!

I want to share my great experience at the Style Bar—I have been seeing Yvette and she is a master barber. All I know is she is a master at making my hair look great! She is s especially talented with color, but her cuts show such precision and are above the best I have had for years! This is why I have followed her around for a number of years before she settled in now at the Style Bar! Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed!

100% recommend! I worked with Alex specifically and he was amazing and his work speaks for itself. Let me start by saying I was trying to find someone who sold Halo’s and I’m so glad I found him! I had a tight deadline because I wanted to wear it for my family photos and he was very quick, flexible, offered great appointment options and was super amazing when it came to matching it with my natural hair color. Not only did he pick the perfect halo but he perfectly corrected the tone of the blonde to match my natural. I will be going back for all of my hair needs and I will always order my halo from this salon.

OLIVER was so great! I found my Charlotte stylist on the first try! Amazing energy, great conversation, love my hair! It was fairly difficult to call with questions as they don’t seem to have a receptionist so if the stylists are working the phone goes to voicemail. But overall great salon & good vibes!

What a great salon! The stylists were so friendly and it was an overall inviting environment. Yvette was awesome and I loved how my hair turned out. I will say I was a bit worried about parking, since there is not a designated parking lot. There ended up being plenty of street parking, so it wasn’t a problem at all. 10/10 will be back!

$180 for a cut a root touch up. Big fat NO. Hairstylist aren't worth more than a dr visit. Shameful they would charge their community so much, for so little.

I was looking for a new salon and was referred by a friend to Mariel at style bar. My previous salon did a decent job, but I always felt like the final cut/style was never fully iterated according to my vision and description. Mariel did an amazing job and I adore the Davines line she uses! She is so fun, talented and thorough and took the time to educate me on aftercare. I felt very cared for and very pleased with my service. Thank you! 💝

So much ball dropping by Mariel, where do I begin to describe the experiences with her. Sadly, she has no confidence with blondes. She said she couldn’t lighten my hair to the desired color for 3/4 treatments. I went to another place and what do ya know ~ gorgeous blonde, healthy hair! She also did the worst install of extensions that I’ve had in the past 10 years. My extensions fell out in 3 weeks. I have never had this happen before! Lastly, she bleached the back of my blouse and was apologizing profusely for getting water on me, well I didn’t know why she was freaking out until I got home and saw my shirt completely ruined with bleach down the back. Just a horribly bad experience here. Do NOT recommend.

StyleBar is the best salon in Charlotte, hands down! I've been going to Ace for over 6 years - his skill level and talent are undeniable. Natalie is also phenomenal—her attention to detail and energy are palpable. Every visit leaves me more than satisfied. Ace @ StyleBar Clt is a god among men. You won't find a better men's haircut in all of North and South Carolina, let alone Charlotte. He takes his time, every time, to make sure every cut is perfect. I've never once left disappointed with my cut. He's also extremely personable and makes me feel like we've been close friends for decades whenever I'm in his chair. You're seriously missing out if you're not having Ace cut your hair. If you want to look and feel like a superstar, my man Ace has your back. He's also super buff and handsome, but he's modest, so he'll probably be upset that I included that bit of information. If you need a super high-class fresh cut... run, don't walk to see Ace @ StyleBar Clt. But make an appointment first, because he gets pretty booked up.

This is my go-to salon! Stylebar completely transforms my hair. My stylist, Natalie, is a hair color wizard! She listens carefully to my desires and strives to achieve them perfectly. Michael is one of the best master stylists I’ve ever had, he has extensive training with all hair types and works with u to figure out what will work best for your hair or if you just want a simple cut/color, definitely book with him for ANY hair needs! He has truly perfected his craft! The entire staff is incredible and the place is clean and modern 10/10 recommend.
