I have been a regular customer at Stylus Salon since 2021. Matthew is my favorite person there and i trust him with all my heart. His hairstyling skills/techniques are exceptional. He truly recognizes the haircut needs, provides several options and makes sure that the customer leaves happy. Matthew has extensive knowledge and experience working with a wide variety of hair types…. and this is why I keep coming back. 💖❤️

I had the worst hair salon experience at Stylus in Seattle. For well over $100, the haircut is low quality and the stylist was the rudest in the industry. The attitude and demeanor of this stylist was disrespectful and unfriendly. It was an unpleasant experience and I left with a horrible haircut. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Stylus in Seattle.

I was able to get a same-day appointment with Laura for a brown brown balayage, she did a fantastic job and matched the inspiration photo I showed her. For my black hair, I wasn't expecting too much lightening without bleach, but she was able to do a wonderful job and kept my hair looking very healthy and refreshed. Would absolutely recommend this salon!

If you like a pleasant experience from start finish which include a spacious salon, polite staff, good conversation and an amazing haircut this is your place! I am so particular about my haircuts and I’ve been looking for the right place in Seattle since we moved here four years ago. I am so glad I found this Salon! Robert, the owner, is amazing at color and cuts! I highly recommend this place.

Robin is the best. I am a forever customer. Almost 20 years I have followed this man - from a past salon to Stylus and even did long distance, flying from CA to WA for three years - he is that good. From his chair side manner to his own inspired personal style to his ability to deliver exactly what you want (cut, color, confidence) - Robin is simply the best. And Stylus is a gorgeous salon - clean, open, everyone is friendly. Cannot say enough good things!

Robert is the best. I have short hair, and he is the only stylist I have ever seen who cuts it perfectly the first time. He always nails it, no matter what I ask for--and I always want something different. He's given me a pixie, an edgy pixie, a wavy French bob, and a few other cuts I love, too. He also gives me quick tips on how to best style the cut, which I love. It makes it easy to recreate how he styles my hair at the salon. I haven't come in in the last year because of COVID, but I came in today after reading about the salon's protocols online. They are being extremely cautious and safe, following all the necessary steps to keep everyone healthy, and I felt incredibly comfortable--and I'm the kind of person who feels nervous about the grocery store every two weeks! You'll feel safe here. No one was anywhere near me except Robert, everything was super clean and sanitized before and after use, and even the checkout process was touch free. It's great. If you need a cut, come here. You'll be glad you did.

Robert is the first stylist that I've found in Seattle to understand how to do a classic taper cut. He blended it so well that it looks like a salon style the entire time it grows out. Highly reccommend.

Went to get a simple short haircut from Robert. $100 with tips he didn't deserve, and I need to redo it right away because the quality is so low. Robert has no idea what "same length all around" means, he asked me what "45 degrees angle" is (guess math wasn't his fave in school) , and he doesn't know what word "symmetric" means. Now my hair on the right side is longer than on the left side, and little strands are sticking out here and there, while it was supposed to be smooth and even all around. His hands where shaking. He also kept me, with wet hair, near the open door for an hour, and now I'm catching cold. Horrible experience. Never again. My husband, who is a scientist, hot a hairdresser, does better.

This review is long over due. I’ve been getting services done at Stylus since I moved to Belltown in 2013. Jeremy is usually my go to for haircut and color, but the owner Robert will sometimes do a color touch up. Both are so incredibly amazing, talented, and reliable. I have dark brown hair and many hair stylists have a hard time lightning my hair (it usually turns out copper,l, not great). However, Jeremy has lightened several times which turned out great. I also get sugaring services done with Anissa and she is a gem! She doesn’t settle for less than amazing and is so personable. In addition to phenomenal services, the salon is clean and very inviting. You are greeted and checked in by either Nichole or Kim who are both the sweetest! Highly recommend this salon if you’re looking for a consistently stellar service.

I absolutely love the salon. It's super easy for me to get to on the bus or I can walk there from work. I've been seeing Ali for a few months now and she's so good to my hair! I'm growing my hair out from a short bob and she's always mindful of my goal when we do color, keeping it healthy so it can grow out long and luscious eventually! I've never been one to spend much on my hair and I've often done my own color at home. But after coming to see Ali and seeing the end result, I feel that it's so worth it to have a professional take care of it the right way.

I'm a fan of this salon. All the staff are very professional, salon is cleanly designed and most of all I have lucked out on my hairstylist amd colorist, Jeremy. He does my hair so well each time, that I always get compliments from other people no matter what hairstyle or hair color I have. His love for his work shows. Stylus also features different works of art on their walls, which makes one's visit a bit more interesting than your usual salon visit. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

Robert is the best hairdresser, he really is if he lived in Hollywood he would be the hairstylist for all the celebrities. If you’re a guy or if you’re a girl his haircuts are amazing and his coloring is perfect
