Lou Ann is popular because she is fast, stylish, listens well, charming and reasonably priced. Very clean shop. Street parking is usually available. Just south of 10&T sts Sacramento. Winter hours around 11 to 5-ish. No reservations necessary but recommended for women's cut/styling or color treatments

My first time here absolutely loved this place. She died the best hair cuts I showed her a few pictures and she really did an awesome job! Highly highly recommend this spot. Great atmosphere, friendly environment, hair I cut was quick and the music was on point.

This lady is a rush rush rush hairstylist. There was a client getting a perm at the same time I was getting my hair cut so she was bouncing back and forth. I asked for a longer hairstyle with layers as I have been growing my hair for 3 months due to a botched haircut before this one. I showed multiple pictures of what I wanted and she just gave them a glance not even a real good look at what I was asking for. All she did was rush into it and start trimming. I felt uncomfortable but I trusted her. Then she started cutting way more than she said she would.... This is why I have a hard time trusting stylists. At the end I told her it was too short and one side was longer than the other. I just wanted to get out of there. I understand that there was another person she was working on but still please take a bit more time to ask the client if they want more off. Now 3 more months to get the look I wanted. Disappointed for $25

I have been coming here for 10+ years to get my hair cut. This is a small shop, and can get busy at times. The owner is very nice and always remembers your name. It is $15 for a basic mens haircut, when I first started coming here it was $8.

Luane did a fantastic job cutting my hair. She really listens to what you want and thinks along with you on what would look best. Quick, skilled, and friendly service. I've had haircuts at various barbershops in Sacramento and abroad, but this was the best one. Bring a face mask and cash!

Nice lady. I wanted to like it, but it wasn’t a good experience for me. Clippers were snagging my hair. They need to be sharpened. Maybe she had just had coffee or something. It was like she was in a hair cutting race or something. Did not turn out as expected. I’ve never experienced a haircut like this in my life.

This place is a little gem. Every time I've gone in she has been so helpful and attentive. The cuts are great. The service is friendly and the overall experience is more than pleasant. The best part is those prices. Super worth it if you're looking to save and get a good cut/ hairdo.

I loved that she could fit me in same day when no one else could. My bangs are a little hard to deal with but I'm horrible at hair so not too surprised. Would go here again and love how close she is to my house.

Woman that works here is unprofessional.. she laughed when my grandmother sat in a wet chair and insulted my mother's hair before asking the latter to have her hair cut at this salon. Woman had the audacity to criticize my mother's physical appearance and then ask for a good review. Mother left.

I've been getting basic haircuts here for years. They do a good job at very a reasonable price. Julie did a very nice job today. Nothing fancy, but they will do more f you ask.
