I saw Danielle for a scalp facial. I’ve had a scalp facial in the past but by no means did it compare to the scalp facial that Danielle did. Danielle has magic hands and provided the best service. She thinks of every little detail to elevate the experience. I left with shiny, hydrated, beautiful hair and a clean scalp. I can’t wait to go back for my next one.

I haven’t treated myself to a good haircut for a while. I went to see Danielle today and got a great haircut. She is a good listener and provided a thoughtful consultation. I walked out very happy. I am looking forward to going back soon for color. UPDATE: I went back for color and had a great experience. I have been coloring my hair for years and have decided I'm ready to transition to my natural silvery color. Since I have been using dark color, the transition requires a thoughtful approach. I was really very happy with the outcome. Danielle clearly cares about her craft and I left with very dimensional color that eliminated that hard demarcation line. I would highly recommend for color.

I hadn't had my hair cut since COVID and when I was ready, I searched for a hair stylist and so lucky to have found Danielle. I started seeing her in December 2022. It is now August 2024 and I am still a loyal client. She starts all her services with a shoulder massage - so relaxing! During your visit, she also gives a hand and head massage - heaven! The products she uses are sustainable and work so well with my hair. My hair is in the best shape it has ever been. She is an amazing colorist and stylist. Can't wait until my next appointment!

I'm so happy to have found Danielle. I started visiting Summit Salon shortly after the opening. Her hand and neck massages are a great way to begin the appointment. It so welcoming to have treatment when you come in (usually running in right on time because of life). They set the mood. She works to engage all five senses (she always has chocolates). Her coloring skills gently highlight my natural base and beautifully blend the gray. She listens and offers suggestions. I leave feeling refreshed and revived.

Danielle was great to work with! She was very knowledgeable and patient. The whole experience in her salon was relaxing and comfortable, and I left feeling gorgeous and refreshed. She absolutely nailed my color despite my lack of clear instructions and the mess that was my previous outgrown color. And my cut and style was also great! Well worth the cost! I lover the service, the relaxing atmosphere and the final result! Danielle is amazing! I love that she uses natural based products and that she know a lot about products that are natural! And her neck massage and scalp massage made me super relaxed! The cut was on a style that other hairstylists did not want to perform, a Bob on a curly hair! You will not regret going to her!

I’m so thankful I found Danielle. I’ve been struggling with loving my hair because of hormonal hair loss. I bring my pictures into her and she says ok, asks me questions and gets to work. Every moment in the salon is peaceful and comfortable. My most recent haircut was before major surgery, I walked in and told her sometimes I just want to go Britney Spears bald, she giggled and asked me what’s going on. Even after showing her like 7 pictures she knew exactly what was perfect. In the hospital and at home recovering my hair has been the LAST I’ve had to worry about. Can’t thank her enough for the at home like atmosphere and careful love of my naturally curly hair.

I got my hair cut and balayaged by Danielle & revieved the best service. She takes her time to figure out exactly what you want & guides you to make the most flattering choices for your hair. She started her service with an amazing massage with essential oil and it only got better from there. She was thorough with the whole process and even included a hand massage while I waited for my deep conditioner, she also placed a hot towel under my neck which felt amazing. My hair turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I have been coming to Danielle for about 10 years and I will always be a loyal guest in her chair!

Can’t say how happy I am with Danielle and her services. I have grey hair that is very difficult to color and keep the color. I used to have go be under a heat lamp for at least 30 minutes. Danielle uses a very low chemical, if any, hair color and I no longer need to be under a heat lamp. On top of it, the color she uses lasts till my next appointment (when my roots are coming out). I like to mix up my haircuts and she helps me pick the best styles for my hair texture. When I bring her pictures, she helps explain how that cut will work with my hair (which is thick). We see pictures and want to look like that, but her explanations and readjustments are right on the mark. Her knowledge and skill are top notch. Highly recommend her if you are looking for highly skilled hairstylist in Frederick.

Love Summit Salon! Being new to Frederick, I was able to find Danielle because of the close location to my house. She was so knowledgeable and kind and helped me correct my color and get me the hairstyle I was looking for with a few weddings coming up. She worked with my schedule and was so great to work with! Definitely going to be going back in the future and cannot recommend her enough!
