I’ve been working with Ella for a few years, but this was my first visit to Sun Up since she moved to the studio. The space is so cozy and inviting, offing a calming the moment you walk in. None of that big spa formality and sometimes clinical feel. Sun up is a historic cottage converted to a business and is as inviting as a home. I see Ella for facials monthly and cannot recommend her enough. I’m also excited to work with the two massage therapist and acupuncturist that are part of the studio. Specifically for facials- I love the standard hour for a deep cleans and exfoliation for my face. Ella works with trusted products and is always flexible to adjust based on how my skin is doing/ feeling the day I’m in. I truly Cannot recommend Ella and this studio enough. ♥️

Just had my second facial here and couldn't recommend it more! I've seen to two separate technicians and had an absolutely stunning experience with both. The space is clean, quiet, safe, and total bliss. 10/10 <3

My facial with Cassidy was incredible! I was having a rough day and Cassidy's peaceful presence, beautiful facial, and relaxing massage was just what I needed. That night I got the best sleep I've had in a LONG time. And my skin was not only glowing right after the facial, but it continued to glow in the days that followed. Highly recommend. Ella takes time to ensure you’re aligned with what you want and what is capable. She makes you feel so relaxed and taken care of, and takes cues from you of times to chat and catch up and times to just relax. I get my eyebrows shaped and tinted, and my eyelashes tinted and lifted, and those two treatments from Ella bring my face to life. Highly recommend ella not only for her incredible skills, but calming and comforting presence.

Really dissatisfied with my acne facial :( I left with multiple white heads still on my face. And the next day my skin breaking out even more. :( I am so sad because I was already very insecure with my acne and this facial made it so much worse. Spent over $200 too. Really disappointed:(

Khristian is an absolute GEM of a human and gives the best facial massages and facials I have ever had. She also knows her stuff and can recommend product as well as customize a facial to your needs. Also, no heavy fragrances in products and natural products which I appreciate as someone who gets fragrance migraines and uses clean skincare products.

My facial with Cassidy was incredible. She immediately puts you at ease, and is very gifted, and knowledgeable about skin, products, etc. It’s been a few weeks and I’m still in awe of how RELAXED I felt afterwards. Even though it was just a facial, she must have calmed my entire nervous system because when she was done, I’d felt as though I’d had a full-body massage. The space is also beautiful and smells amazing. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

PERMANENT DAMAGE, PLEASE READ!! It took me a few months to write this review because I was so traumatized by my experience here. I came in for a regular facial and had the add on of dermabrasion. When I went to my appointment and I told Chandler I was on the strongest level of tretinoin and that she should avoid the dermabrasion, she agreed and told me she would do a chemical peel instead. I told her my 30th birthday was in 2 days and could not afford any downtime and should skip the peel. I had made multiple plans including going to Cancun with my family to celebrate this important milestone. She assured me there would be no downtime and that this was a very weak chemical peel. I warned her about being in sunny Cancun and once again, told her I really didn’t think I should get a chemical peel but she insisted I would love it. After the peel, she applied multiple other things to my face, all which burned (which I thought was normal). Ends up everything after the peel was supposed to be “relaxing”. At one point she put a hot towel on my face and I felt like my face was on fire, I flung the towel across the room in a reflex response and yelled in pain. She said… “Ohh, that wasn’t supposed to hurt”. Btw, my dads a doctor and he connected me to a world renowned dermatologist who said you NEVER put hot towels on someone’s face after a chemical peel and absolutely never give a chemical peel to anyone taking tretinoin (let alone the strongest dose.) He told me you learn this stuff on like day 1 of being an esthetician. After my appointment was finished and I finally had the chance to look at my face in the mirror, I was horrified. My skin looked like I had just come from a chemical war zone and I was in immense pain. I was not able to go on my trip (I lost over $2,000 for it as I had to cancel last second due to this women’s very avoidable mistake). I also canceled all my birthday plans and stay inside with the blinds drawn for 2 weeks. I was not even able to go to the grocery store. I was incredibly traumatized by this and even though I’m a skin care junky, I’m too scared to even get a facial again. This woman never acknowledged what she did was wrong and kept mentioning how surprised she was that I was affected. She did not even think to offer me the money back for over 24 hours…(I’m assuming someone knocked some sense into her). I still have permanent burns that remind me of this experience every day. If you care about your face, go somewhere else.

Alyssa gave me the greatest hour of relaxation. She is knowledgeable and thorough. Her hands are magic. When I left I was like a noodle. So relaxed. That is really saying something as the last year has been really hard. I lost my brother, sister,brother-in-law then my daughter. I will book with her again.

Cannot get over how dreamy this facial experience was!! This is my second time seeing Ella for a Savasana Facial, and I left feeling so relaxed and my skin feeling so very happy and hydrated. I made sure to pre-book my next appointment before leaving!! As if the facial experience wasn't enough, the building, and treatment rooms are so charming and relaxing. Street parking is super easy to navigate, and neighborhood feels safe and welcoming!

Chandler did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable and relaxed as a facial first-timer. Her studio itself is very welcoming and zen. The massage was very soothing and relaxing and my face was noticeably brighter. This was a great 'spa-quality' massage I'd recommend to anyone looking for a premium experience.

Chandler is truly my skin guru. I was hooked after my first session with her, and now I can't stay away. My skin has improved immensely over the past 6 months and I truly credit that to her magic powers and thoughtful recommendations of all things skin care related! Not to mention, I could spend hours in that bungalow - beyond relaxing.

I had a facial and lash lift with Cassidy and I am now beyond relaxed. I felt like I was drifting off on a cloud the entire time. Cassidy has such an intuitive touch! Her face, neck, and shoulder massage was both gentle yet firm. I had so much tension and pain in my neck and shoulders from lifting heavy instruments over the weekend and she managed to melt it all away with her touch. My skin is glowing, feels nourished and hydrated. The bonus was the lash lift! I have super straight, thick, lashes that I’m constantly curling with a lash curler just to be able to see them. Now they have a subtle lift that looks natural and really opens up my eyes! Cassidy is a natural at her craft and I would suggest her to anyone looking to receive a facial with intention and gentle loving care.

I saw Cassidy for a 1.5 hour facial this week and it was absolutely incredible. I've never had a facial quite like this. It was a journey through smell, touch, sound, and Cassidy's nurturing touch throughout the entire facial was so loving and caring. If you're looking for an escape and to feel cared for, this is your spot. Highly recommend, she is so gifted.

Omggggg! I got a back facial with Cassidy before a trip to the beach, so I could feel radiant from head to toe in my swim suit and it was so glorious! I definitely drooled a little. She has angel hands and the massage portions of the service transporter me to the land of milk and honey. I felt so taken care of and like I was in the best hands possible for my acne prone skin. The space is so beautiful & serene. I love the holistic offerings here & had such an amazing facial with Alyssa! The facial itself was so relaxing & peaceful yet left me with such a nice glow. I’m pretty picky with facials & the massage focus was perfect, it felt productive yet gentle on my sensitive skin. Alyssa has such a calming presence & led the experience really well, it felt meditative & restorative!

I absolutely loved my experience with Chandler! She customized a facial to fit my needs and did the Sculpture Facial Flow, which was amazing! The next day I woke up without any neck or jaw pain, which I’ve had for years. I have seen multiple chiropractors, massage therapists, etc and could never get relief. I can’t believe it!! For anyone who has TMJ, neck or shoulder pain I highly recommend seeing Chandler! Not only does my skin look and feel amazing but I am pain free for the first time in years. I feel like a new person and I am so so grateful!
