As someone with curly hair, I am usually afraid of haircuts. Often, stylists will cut my hair wet, leaving it way shorter than I initially wanted. But, Jess really took the time to ask me about my past cuts, what I wanted out of this one, and gave me a chance to say what I liked/didn't like. Jess gave me literally the best haircut of my life. I left with the most beautifully shaped and dried curly hair- the first time a "curly" stylist has actually used a defuser on my hair in the salon. My hair was shiny and smooth, and my curls were more defined than ever. I will definitely be coming back in the future for my hair needs!! Thank you Jess!

I love Sunday Salon. I moved to NC from DC 8 years ago and searched for an upscale salon to no avail. I finally found Sunday Salon about a year ago and am happier than I ever have been. This time I took notice that after each person left their seat, someone disinfected the seat and styling area…very important to me when flu and norovirus are rampant right now. I had a consultation about my hair color and cut and it looks fabulous. I have had several of the stylists do my hair and they are all good. Love this salon and am a permanent customer. (I drive about 45 minutes to get there if that says anything)

I recently visited Sunday Salon for a haircut, hairstyle, and treatment, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Jess, my hairstylist, did an amazing job. She was attentive, professional, and really understood what I wanted. My hair feels healthier and looks fantastic. The entire experience was elevated by the thoughtful details. There's a coat rack in the back with robes, so you don't have to change in front of everyone, which I really appreciated. Plus, I enjoyed a delicious seasonal cranberry cocktail during my visit. A big shoutout to Lisa Edwards for recommending this salon to me. The entire experience was wonderful, from the friendly staff to the relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Sunday Salon to anyone looking for top-notch hair services!

Had a great experience. Lisa really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted out of my balayage and created a beautiful, natural look. It is really clear she is an expert at what she does. Jess gave me the perfect cut, tailoring it to my face and style. Both Lisa and Jess were so friendly and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire visit. I’m in love with my hair and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new stylist.

I’m from Kuwait, and finding a good blowout for my thick, wavy hair isn’t easy—but Cassidy was fantastic! She handled my hair with such skill and patience, and her friendly personality made the experience even better. The entire staff was welcoming, and the salon atmosphere was top-notch. I’m beyond impressed. Highly recommend!

Edited: the salon kindly offered to correct the coloring. Ashley did a great job! She listened to me attentively, cross checked with my wishes and recommended what needs to be done. She was very professional and the result was amazing! The pictures demonstrate what I wanted and what I’ve got. Other than that the salon is beautiful with very nice and hospitable people working there. Even though my result is far from what I expected, the quality is good. My result definitely was not worth the price.

I wasn't really a fan of the haircut I received. I provided a photo of my previous haircut, which was long bangs, a trim and textured layering. I have thin hair, but there is a lot of it and it is aggressively straight. My bangs went from being so long they were directly in my eyes to being shorter than the photo i provided. They turned out to be even shorter when i got home and saw it with my face relaxed. There also wasn't a lot of texture in the rest of my hair. On top of that I asked her if there was a way to make my bangs thicker and she said yes but it wasn't the right move in her opinion. My bangs were thicker in the picture, my usual stylist does this because my hair is thin. The worst part is i ran my brush through my bangs when i got home and there were chunks of longer strands from where my previous stylist cut it. I mentally shut down half way through because I felt like i wasnt being listened to. After how short my bangs were cut, how thin they are, and how unchanged the rest of my hair was, just didn't feel like it mattered what I said.

Amazing salon! Beautiful, clean, and very organized. Lizzie is absolutely awesome- she spent extra time with every detail of getting my blonde color exactly how I hoped it would be, and she got it perfect on the first try. Can't recommend her highly enough! Thank you to the whole team, everyone was wonderful.

I took a chance with a new stylist when my usual one had an emergency and was extremely delighted! Ashly listened to what I wanted and I had an excellent experience! She is talented and sweet. The salon was clean and well run as well

Jess is an amazing hairstylist. If you don't know exactly what your hair needs, Jess will help you figure it out & help you choose a cut that best suits you. The environment of the salon is luxury while still being warm & inclusive. I will be back!

Recently I had a fabulous experience at this salon. Ashley cut and styled my hair. She worked with the texture of my hair and gave me a fantastic haircut that I can manage and enjoy at home because it embraces my waves and curls instead of fighting them. Ashley is very personable and I felt like I was talking with an old friend. I look forward to my next visit at Sunday Salon. Thanks again Ashley.

The level of service from Sunday Salon can’t be matched. If you ever want to feel like royalty this is the place to be! The amount of thought put into each detail of the salon experience is beyond exceptional. For example: getting bored sitting in the chair while your color is processing? Well here they come offering Ghirardelli chocolates! Raining outside when it’s time to leave? Here’s a Sunday Salon umbrella to take home. Tired and ready to relax as soon as you get there? Take advantage of the warm eucalyptus towel they offer at the front desk! Hot outside? How about some sorbet while your color is processing. Love the fall season? I highly recommend a complementary apple cider mimosa. Lisa and Andrew have truly thought of everything to make your hair appointment nothing less than amazing and the icing on the cake is my hair has never looked better!

I've been going to the salon for years. I've never missed an appointment. I called to let them know. I was running late and couldn't get there by the 6:15 deadline, but I would be there shortly after. They said they couldn't take me if I wasn't there they would charge me the $100. I won't be going there ever again. I can get my haircut at Sola for half the price. It didn't matter that I was a longtime customer and not only purchased haircuts, but also their products. They are in flexible with the rules,

Kate is amazing! I had a last minute important work call so we had to modify the appointment so that I could be back for the zoom call. Together as a team we problem solved what was manageable and then she went to work and managed to do a beautiful job with all that I wanted done with time to spare! Now I’m anniversary ready for my husband as well. Thanks again Kate and to the staff at Sunday Salon for making me feel gorgeous! I also want to say thank you to Sunday Salon for putting up rainbow flags for Pride month. It’s nice to see a business supporting the community with acceptance. I will be back! Lauren

Doesnt rinse out color properly (leaves it caked on you scalp, even on your neck) and high level stylists do not listen and will chop your hair off without even asking.

I cannot say enough good things about Sunday Salon. This was a birthday treat, and from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, everyone was so unbelievably nice and accommodating. For my first professional hair care in 3 years, I will never go to another salon after experiencing this place. Special thanks to Tyler for the amazing color work and cut (and the conversation!). And thank you to Taylor for stepping in. The whole team was amazing, and I strongly recommend coming here for all your hair care needs.
