This place has the best stand-up spray tanning booths in town BUT... WOW... ok, so everyone that follows my reviews and to all newcomers this is totally insane. So as you know I've been going to this place for over 5 years. Recently went under new management now it is called SunDays. So apparently it's some company from Virginia Beach. At first I was excited about the new changes because of all of the complications with Solus but they were easy complications that were actually rectified over time. But beware of this new place that has taken over solUs. Okay, you know how you pay for a spray package for $89 that's for a month? Well now you get you can do a spray tan for a month it's like $59 or something like that but then I kept my $89 because they now have spa packages which are included with my spray tan for the same price. if I just kept it at $89 I can spray tan unlimited plus I can use their Spa stuff sounds great right? Well so I go to spray one day and I walk in and the girl asked me what I wanted to do? So I told her "the same thing I always do" and she asked, do you want prep and moist for your spray and I was like no prep just moist and she's like okay, that will be $10. I was like, wait it's going to be how much? I said no sweetheart, have a package I pay a monthly fee, anyway doesn't that come with the spray tanning the prep before it and the moist after? I MEAN REALLY WTH?! So come to find out if you spray tan and do anything other than clear you have to pay extra, so it's $3 extra for dark bronze now on top of your $89 a month $10 for prep on top of your $89 a month and $10 for moist on top of $89 a month!🫨🤯🤷🏼‍♀️. So luckily for me I had some extra money on my account that I've been using to pay for my dark bronze. And I'll just suffer without the prep and moist I guess for now. Since when do you have to pay extra for what already comes in the spray booth? I mean what is my package actually paying for if $89 is not enough to pay every session that I do which is mainly twice maybe a week. So you're charging me $89 to use the booth itself and then I pay you extra for the liquid that sprays out of it? It's absurd. The lotions used to be about 12 to 15 dollars a bottle which was great but now they're 45 to $60 a bottle. Just because they have a different name on them a different company makes them it's the same stuff. I'm currently looking for a spray tan place because this is ridiculous the prices are outrageous now for the same thing I was paying. You want to nickel and dime your customers who've been there for over 5yrs and Blind Side your new customers that have no idea. Shame on you!

I went in for a basic tanning session and was charged $36, which felt way too high for a single use of a basic tanning bed. I will say, it came with a lotion sample. I had my own lotion but I guess that makes the price a little more justified for them. It's still more than I've ever paid for a single tan. While I appreciated being shown all the different options they offer for future reference, I was only interested in a simple session that day. Unfortunately, the staff continued to press the upsell, even after I repeatedly said no thanks. Packages might be a better deal for regular tanners, but if you're just looking for an occasional session, this isn’t the place for you.

Update - some beds got new bulbs and Kailey is Amazing please dust once in awhile. Otherwise I am happy again. Ok, the people here are great but the cost is ridiculous. I guess you have to be rich to use even a stand up or anything other than 2 of the oldest and smallest no air beds ever. Even for that you pay 35 a month.

Had a very odd experience this evening going to this location, I’ve been going to this salon since it was called solus and for years, have had some hiccups with billing in the past but since then it’s been rectified. Tonight I go in for a spray tan and they charge my card for the prep lotion and the spray. They then keep swiping my card and say that they’ve been having issues with VyStar cards…. Which I’m pretty sure most of north Florida has as their bank. She tries it again and then says I could go to Publix’s ATM for cash. I was about to leave but I was in a time crunch and needed the spray before my events this week. So I go get the cash and it charges a service fee so I was irritated already. I go back and ask if I could just not be charged for the lotion considering this isn’t MY issue as to why their system isn’t accepting VyStar cards…. She declined and stated she couldn’t just give me the pack for lotion because they would see on cameras but continued to pour lotion into a ziploc bag which probably equated to half a bottle. Not mad at that but just very unprofessional. Clearly it’s not the employees fault, they looked like teenagers but whoever runs this place, i suggest you get your system fixed so you don’t miss out on business, and please fix your spray machines, they work like crap

New here to Florida. I've got the best package and it is amazing what you get. I've only visited 2 of the spas here one in Fleming Island and the other in orange park off 295. Fleming Island is okay.. I take the extra drive to orange park for the amazing service, tanning knowledge and the beds always have new bulbs. I have not tried the spray tan but it's a newer system. Was not impressed at the other salon.

Their monthly memberships are a scam. I only wanted to do one month before my wedding. I told the young lady who signed me up this clearly. She said that all I would have to do is call and cancel within 30 days. I call the very next day and cancel which was within 30 days since there was 31 days in the month. They are having a ‘special’ where if you sign up for the diamond package it’s half off. Of course they bill me this month. I call and she tells me in the contract they have to bill you at least once after you sign up. So you have to pay for 2 months if you cancel within 30 days or not. Such a scam. Beware that you will be paying for an extra month no matter what. Do yourself a favor and just go to planet fitness and tan, at least they don’t bill you after you cancel and it’s not 80$!!!!

I had a horrible experience with Ashley and I will be canceling my services with them. It's unbelievable how some people can be argumentative and disrespectful to prove a point. My issue was with Lorraine due to some misleading information. I was with Sol us Tanning and even though Sundays have a lot good amenities but I will not be disrespected.

Currently tanning here. They have about 2-3 great tanning beds, there is usually a wait on them tho. The front desk told me to go into #4 and there were boxes full of tanning bulbs on the ground. . Some of the front desk people are nice but some are very rude and they want to constantly try and sell you something even when you tell them politely no. I'm perfectly fine with them marketing their products but when someone says no, just respect that- no need to bully the clients into buying something. There tanning beds I mentioned are fabulous tho!! Their tanning lotion is great too!

after going here for awhile even prior to the new ownership, I decided to stop wasting my money with them. They wouldnt accept my eyewear then tried to push me to buy new eyewear, stand up bed has missing bulbs, prices are comparably higher.

Customer service is good but seems they never change bulbs out they seem to do one at a time Started loosing my tan. When going 5 days a week. Started going back to Riverside location. There always on point. Within going three times got my tan back.

I’ve been using Sol US tanning for years. I’ve been to many of their locations. The Orange Park location is the worst. The staff is great but….. they DO NOT change their bulbs like they should. At the Orange Park location, I was told by a staff member that it’s been about 3 years since bulbs have been changed. I asked if I personally could contact someone higher up regarding this. She advised me she would send an email and have them contact me. I still had to keep on top of staff member. And was simply told the beds hadn’t reached the hours to warrant changing. After 2-3 years, that’s BS. I’ve seen personally bulbs being changed at the St. John’s Bluff location and I’ve been to Fleming Island (whom have newer beds and better bulbs). Something needs to be done regarding the bulbs at the Orange Park location. You’re taking peoples money but with no compensation. I’ve asked for the owner to reach out to me and it never happens. Please respond or I’ll gladly give you my contact info! And DON’T respond with “the bulbs haven’t had enough hours to warrant changing”.

Plethora of rooms, good quality, top tier beds, stand ups, good selection of lotion packets,. Friendly service. I'm not from the area and it was a one time stop in only, so I had to fill out paperwork and have my license scanned in. Which both myself and the front desk girl forgot to return my license. But within 2 hours I received a call that they had found was able to get it back. All in all good Experience. If I'm. Back in the area I will come back for another week of Tanning.

So the staff is extremely friendly and very professional, the ONLY reason I did not do 5 stars was because I wasn’t informed they had new bulbs in the room I was going in. Now I’m going to have to heal and start the process all over again, which sucks. I loved the lotions they recommended and they were very informative but please please let clients know about new bulbs. Not all of us love the newest bulbs. Other than that, I would 100% recommend them!

Its clean, great beds, and they have spray tan booth, & lotions, water, & towels I know some people forget the little things...for the price you'd have to tan 3-5 times a week..

The employees were nice, however, the product that I asked for from the very beginning wasn't what I received. Being that I was two days away from competing in a bodybuilding competition, I explained that I needed the darkest tan possible for stage. I was offered the tanning spray booth I received two coats and the 10 was not what I wanted. It didn't cover the whole body like I'm supposed to. So the business does not cater to bodybuilding clients. Just regular everyday people that want to have a bronze look. Other than that the place was impeccable the people were just fantastic it's just it does not cater for that type of other business which is dark dark tanning for bodybuilding.
