Nobody picked up the phone, straight went to their voicemail for a few times. The website doesn't probably have a payment processor attached, I can't click 'book now'. Why would they have a button if it doesn't work. Finally Someone picked up the phone, and I made an appointment. Her name was Mary. She kept saying, she can't do this, or that, just for a blow out. I don't think she should be in a service industry. She wanted additional $$ for some curls, which is fine if that is how they charge. But then I would have liked a discount for her not washing my hair. Very unprofessional. The owner Lori. Always has an excuse, out of town, after that, too busy and forgot to call back, then having a dinner, cannot talk. No need to give them another chance. That is why I am writing this review.

I see Lori at the salon, and every time I go, she does a great job with my color touchups, my highlights, and cutting my hair. I choose to wear my hair short, with some bangs/ and feathering on the side. I have never been disappointed with my root touchup that covers my stubborn gray hair. Lori never leaves me with color stain around my hairline when I kept my roots touched up. I am very satisfied with her services, and everyone in the salon is friendly. If you're looking for a new hairstylist, Lori is the hairstylist to ask for. I am in and out of the salon as scheduled. I usually spend $ 120.00 for roots touch up and style short hair.

I had an appointment for dry haircut and since I change my mind for a regular haircut the hairstylist Allyson didn’t want to do my haircut and they made me wait 2 hours. Another hairstylist ended up doing it. Even though she did a great job I just thought was ridiculous waiting that long. I would recommend to call to make sure they’ll respect the time of your appointment and don’t make you wait for so long.

Another reason to love Palms! Sunflower Salon is a welcoming space, has awesome stylists and has plenty of street parking. I have seen Allyson twice - once for color and once for cut - and couldn't be happier. She listens to what you want and does an excellent job.

Sunflower Salon is super cute, clean and fun! Owner Lori has been taking care of my hair for over 10 years, and I can't imagine using anyone else. She is super talented and a lot of fun too. I get compliments on my hair all the time. The absolute best!

This salon is fantastic. Super cute and welcoming. In a great area with lots of restaurants and parking is just up the street. There is even a cute Farmer’s market on Sundays. I see Lori, the owner, and you can tell she really cares for her clients and their hair. As does her staff. I drive an hour just to see her because I trust her with my hair. Their haircare products are also all vegan which I really appreciate. My color always turns out great!

UPDATE: I am updating this review because I realized that the clothes I wore that day were completely ruined with bleach. When she was washing my hair the water completely soaked my entire back. My favorite shirt was ruined on top of wasting $350+ I had my hair colored by Kyla and I hated it. My hair is pink that fades into black on my ends. My roots turned out a completely different color (yellow) from the rest of my hair. I initially just wanted my roots touched up but she was getting bleach all over the ends of my hair so I asked her to dye the ends as well because I was worried about my ends being a different color from all the bleach. Well she accidentally mixed the colors and my beautiful pink hair is now purple. My previous stylist worked so hard for the two colors to be blended without a harsh line and she completely ruined this. She told me my roots would look better after I washed it which made absolutely no sense because they were bleached bright yellow. When I washed my hair it only looked worse. I will say she did offer to fix it and I was planning to come back in but after I washed my hair a week later and saw how terrible it looks I did not feel comfortable letting her touch my hair again. $350 wasted. While I do appreciate her willingness to fix it, she did not offer to give me any of my money back. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Went for a haircut. Not knowledgeable with curly hair at all on how to condition or cut it. I would have done a better job myself. Left the salon barely dry, and destroyed bangs and the layers aren’t even right. Not going back, nor do I recommend.

I love Lori at Snowflake Salon. I have curly hair so it's not always easy to work with but Lori is amazing. She is great with color and knows how to cut the curls. I get so many compliments on my hair! Highly recommend!

I was looking for a new stylist and haven't had my hair done since covid. Just moved into the area and stumbled upon Snowflake Salon such a cute gem. It's clean , bright and everyone was in good spirits. I will say parking isn't the best. I got my hair colored by Ashley and was happy with the service. Will def be coming back frequently.
