My experience was not at a hotel rather was in Sun River at an individually owned rental property and managed by a company that does that for the rental properties. It was located on Pole Circle and was GREAT!

the hotel is in a picturesque place, in the forest, we waited so long to come here, but we were so disappointed. old rooms, with an old smell, you can't turn on the stove, the smell comes from there right away! old bathrooms. the rooms are very small. in general, we will definitely not come here a second time! the pool is even worse, fry and dirty!

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here at Sunriver over the holidays! We were fortune enough to be able to experience the King of Pinot wine tasting with Austin during our stay and he absolutely made our trip! He was funny and personable throughout, he made a group of strangers feel immediately comfortable with one another and we were charmed by the family and warmth that brought to the environment. Additionally, often is very knowledgeable about the wine and hearings of the wine, and he was very generous with our pours purchases afterwards. Not to mention the set up was gorgeous. We were delighted to see that we each had our own name cards and full Charcuterie boards. It was well worth it for the price. If you happen to be lucky enough to be staying at the resort or visiting for the day during this event, I would highly recommend it. Thanks Austin!

It was a rewarding experience as a first time qualifier I really enjoyed myself and the tournament was run as professional as I’ve ever seen! Exceptional job fellas! Two courses four days the competition was exceptional ! What a great tradition we have and looking forward to the South Fla swing next year!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sun River Resort, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The check-in process was seamless and efficient. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. They were always available to answer any questions and offer recommendations. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would definitely return in the future.

An exceptional week at the Sunriver Resort. A luxurious lodge and excellent cuisine, the only thing that surpassed the prior points, was the service from the staff. Everyone as so friendly and couldn't do enough for you.||The golf course was in amazing order and so all in all, a superb stay and so highly recommend.

As always, the staff at Sunriver was exceptional and the facilities were clean and beautiful. Winter is my favorite time to visit. Fresh snow, deer in the meadow, cocktails by the fire in The Owl’s Nest and a delicious breakfast at The Lodge Kitchen on our way out! 10/10!!!

I had a lovely stay here a few weeks ago and wanted to give this experience as a gift to my loved ones. Aside from there being no good onsite food or amenities, it’s a beautiful property with a great jumping off point to the other stuff that you ultimately came to sunriver to do. I am truly disappointed because I just called to ask for digital gift cards to go towards more room nights, not wanting physical cards, and was denied. They do not offer digital, and won’t find a compromise for you. I was excited to come back later this month and bring family too, but we won’t be back if such a simple request cannot be accommodated.

I love going to Sunriver. However, it is always a bit frustrating for the amount of money you pay and I would advise others to look elsewhere for the $$. For example, I booked through Chase a couple months ago and then Sunriver said they couldn't add a pet through a third party app. Or they do a free night + gift certificate but the free nights are limited and you have to pay "extra". Or check-in isn't until 5pm at night. For the cost, there are better options.

The facility is exceptional in every way in a beautiful location. What made our stay special though was the staff in all aspects of the operation of the resort. We were warmly greeted at check in and met the wonderful people who manage the front desk. Renee, Daniel, Ben, and everyone else, spent the time necessary to make sure we were "greeted" and not just checked in. We had a wonderful room with a view of the golf course and a herd of Elk who accommodated us by grazing right outside our window. The grounds are immaculately maintained and very welcoming. Every where we went we were greeted by staff who were eager to know if there was anyway they could assist us or improve our stay. I have to admit that we went of site looking for a breakfast spot but for various reasons we were unable to find one so we decided to go back to the resort and try the Lodge Kitchen restaurant. We were grateful we went back, as we met two exceptional people working at the restaurant, (and the food was delicious). We first met Jo, the hostess, who greeted us and made us feel like long time friends, instead of customers to simply be seated. After our meal, which was delicious, we decided to sit by the stone fireplace near the restaurant, and Jo would come over to check on us to see if we needed anything at all. The next person we met was Myline, our waitress, who like Jo made us feel like we were old friends immediately and was exceptional in every way anticipating our every need. She too saw us sitting by the fireplace, after our meal, and took the time to bring us some waters and have some additional warm conversation making us feel quite at home. Both Jo and Myline were so nice we decided to have breakfast again at the Lodge the next day and to say good bye to our new friends, since we were only staying the two days. If you're looking to be pampered or just relax at a five star location, then Sunriver Resort is the place to stay. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived after dark and Thomas gave us detailed directions so we wouldn't get lost on the way to our building. He was super friendly and welcoming. He took time to share with us all of the happenings for that evening and the next few days and even told us about available upgrades but wasn't pushy at all. We were also stoked that our room was next to the cove, we have kids with us who are looking forward to checking out the pool.

We had an early dinner in the Owls Nest. The roaring fire we sat by looking out upon the snow covered meadows was an unparalleled experience. The staff and food matched the excellence of the moment! We would highly recommend Sunriver resort for activities for all seasons.

We have been coming to Sunriver Resort for over ten years and are always delighted with our experience. We were graciously welcomed at the front door by Andrew who made the transition to our River Lodge room effortless. Love the spa and gym for those days when it’s better to look outside than to be outside. Thank you Sunriver for another memorable stay!

What an amazing resort!|This was our first trip to the United States and albeit it was for an amazing golf event, the resort was outstanding in every way. We had a very full schedule from Tuesday 10th to Sunday 15th September with early starts and late finishes for the golf tournament, but the staff where absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for any member of their team from early until late. The whole team of staff were courteous, professional and friendly and that shows that they are directed by a great team leader in Josh Willis, their Vice President of Operations and a PGA member, thank you Josh and your team.|We wish we had more time to experience the different offerings that the resort has but golf took up all of our time. I would have loved to do some of the amazing cycle routes and other activities, maybe next time!

I love the lodge. Our drinks and pretzel were lovely, and of course, the view by the fire is stunning! But it's really overpriced, and while our server was friendly and helpful, it was slower than I would have expected given the lite crowd.

I rented one of their vacation properties with a 4pm check-in. I tried to enter the property a little after 4 and the door code would not work. I tried calling the number provided and no one answered. I drove to the office and spoke with someone in vacation rentals and was told that check-in was not guaranteed until 6pm. I am now writing this review after 6pm and have not been contacted and my rental still is not ready. This is not what I expected from a property managed by the resort and suggest people looking to rent here use a different service.

We wanted to love this vacation but were disappointed with the service we received. We arrived after a 9 hour drive at 4pm and went to check in. We were told the room is almost ready and will be ready in the next couple minutes (we knew checking in could go until 6pm so no problem). We waited by the pool bar and in the car patiently until it hit 6pm with no updates. Guest services let us know that the housekeeper has gone home for the day but our room (a king suite at the lodge) isn’t ready yet? So we get asked to wait a little bit longer… fine we can go eat. At around 7pm, while waiting for our table at the brewery, we get a text that our room is ready! We run back to check in, get to our room and they put us in a king room (not a king suite). I’m incredibly frustrated at this point so we go back again and let them know the room we received was not a suite. We go do eat and get notified at around 8:30pm that our room is finally ready. We get checked in, 4.5 hours after we should have been. Then for a Christmas Eve dinner we had reserved, same thing happens… we get checked in 30 minutes AFTER our reservation? I know it’s a busy season but it’s incredibly frustrating and seems super inconsistent. Not only that, we would expect a $100 streak to be cooked correctly… but lo and behold it’s overcooked and butchered!! To add insult to injury, other then the guest services folks, every experience we had with the pool bar staff, lodge kitchen staff and so on has been rude! For $350/400 per night, we expected better service and timely check ins. We wanted to come back for the $300 gift card deal along with 25% off next stay… but it’s hard to justify it after being treated that way

Excellent place to visit. Lighting in the parking lots is very lacking. It's quite easy to get turned around going to your condo.

Super easy to get to and check in. We caught the first big snow fall of the season and had a blast. Close to everything and great views. Pool area is great especially when it's freezing outside. They have big rooms, like a townhouse basically, that can easily meet your needs anytime. River is nearby and elk roam through.
