They were nice people and it was affordable, but the haircut wasn’t good. It wasn’t what I asked for and I showed pictures of a haircut I got 3-4 months back so I know it wasn’t an impossible ask. Really bummed with how it looks.

Always great! Love Kelly, I am on the spectrum and Kelly listens very well. Asks follow up questions, bc I am bad at explaining bc she gets it, always does what I ask for. I have had hairdressers in the past there I basically get a bowl cut and want it straight in the back. Hairdressers will angle in back when I repeatedly ask not too, then do it anyways, Kelly is 100% not like that and listen to the customer wants and needs. HIGHLY recommend Kelly, and if not her Holly is my 2nd pick. She listens as well and does not stray from what you ask!!

I was desperately in need of a haircut and new style. The other day I finally made my way into Sunset Clipps and had a great experience. I showed my stylist a few pictures of haircuts in the past and she was able to give me a great cut. Also as a bonus... they have a Mrs Pac Man and Galaga arcade game... my daughter had a blast while I got the perfect haircut. Thanks again. ~B

If you have curly/wavy hair, I beg you to go to Kersten! As someone with 2b/2c fine hair I’m always wary about getting my haircut but Kersten has now given me the perfect cut twice. She lets you choose how you want it cut (wet/dry/styled) and is very communicative throughout the appointment making sure you get exactly what you want. It also helps that she is extremely kind, welcoming, and warm. I can’t recommend her enough!!

More miserable now than I was before. I was a walk in as a tourist to get a simple blowout but instead the hairdresser watch my hair, I did no conditioner, and no sort of leave in conditioner or treatment before blow drying. My hair is thin and shoulder legs so it needs a little support. She proceeds to blow dry it and leave it half done. Even after I repeatedly asked her to blow dry it into a neat straight &simple. she did not understand. I’m now looking for an experienced hairdresser.

Service is 5 stars my stylist was very friendly and gave a great cut. Really like the space, too. Thus the five stars. Idk what's going on with payment here, though. They have square but can't use it??? THIS IS A CASH ONLY BUISINESS. I was informed after my cut and had to go to an atm a short walk away.

Sunset Clipps was a nice causal salon with a surfing vibe. Rachel did a great job with my hair, and we had a nice chat. We had just arrived on vacation the day before and she gave us some great suggestions on places to visit.

The girls here are all great, but Holly is my go-to. Its still the cheapest haircut in town & walk-ins are welcome, so you really can't beat it!
