My appointment with Sunshine last Saturday felt like a full-on spa day, and I couldn’t be more grateful! She started with a deep conditioning treatment that had my hair feeling absolutely amazing, paired with an apple cider lemon juice detox that was a refreshing touch. Then she got into loc repair, and let me tell you—she took her time. Sunshine carefully inspected each of my locs, reinforcing any areas that needed extra love. She was so patient, keeping me informed every step of the way and explaining why everything she did was important for keeping my hair healthy. We also talked about my interest in coloring my hair, and she broke it all down for me—the pros, the cons, and tips for how to care for it if I decide to go for it. She really made sure I had all the information to make the best decision for myself. The vibe was perfect the entire time—her energy was so upbeat and polite, and she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable, offering water and snacks throughout the appointment. It truly felt like a luxury experience. I’m beyond happy with my hair, and I can’t wait for my next appointment with Sunshine. She’s the truth!

Thank Goddess for Sunshine! I was flying into ATL from Costa Rica for a VIP event and needed a stylist. Sunshine came highly recommended from a friend and lucky for me, she had availability. Sitting in Sunshine’s chair is like having a spiritual awakening, going to church and chillin’ with one of your homegirls. I was supposed to write this review a couple days ago but I’m completely forgot. I want to start of saying by this is definitely more than just getting your hair braided, for me it was an entire experience. From the get-go sunshine was amazing. She greeted me at the door made me feel comfortable. I honestly did not know what I wanted to do with my hair so I gave her the keys and let her drive. Let me tell you, by far the best braids I’ve received and definitely my favorite. She made me laugh and had me talking the entire time. This was a 10/10 most try experience because every penny was worth and I will be back soon :)

My sister and I came to sunshine after a loss in the family and not being able to do our hair and the absolute love and compassion that radiates from sunshine is beautiful and it shows in her work. Sitting in her chair feels like a safe space to feel good. She is absolutely incredible

Sunshine did my hair at a hair show. The experience was good the faux locs unfortunately didn't last past a week they started separating. To add to her response. And to add insult to my losses u text me abt my thoughts? Wow...It's says alot to get upset abt my opinion of the hair.Not once in my original post did I bash you or say ur skills were subpar? I only said it didn't last. But ur response says it all.

Sunshine is an absolute breath of fresh air! My wife wanted to find a professional who not only had the skills of braiding but who also knew how to take care of my hair and scalp. Sunshine space is very clean and sits in the front of several other salon suites. When we first met, her spirit was so genuine, it was like we knew each other for years. Sunshine hands are AMAZING. From washing, to the actual braiding, Sunshine was gentle and took pride in hair care. I didn’t quite know what style I wanted, but Sunshine had so much creative juice, she was able to come up with something that left me turning heads and receiving compliments while I was out. The braids were tight enough and neat, but did not pull my hair. Make sure you go check her out! Her booking process is easy and she responds to help with any questions.

A+!!! Sunshine is absolutely amazing! When I first came to her I wasn’t sure what to do with my hair as I’ve never grown it out before. That was over 2 years - and since then Ive trusted no one else braid, twists, or loc my hair. Compliments!!! Did I mention that? Nearly every style I’ve gotten I get at least one compliment if not more. That’s the mark of a true artist.

First of all Sunshine is a fitting name because she truly lights up a room. Not only is she professional but she’s also very sweet. I got the goddess locks and they are gorgeous. She takes the time to explain the process to you. She starts on time. And she is extremely fast. I’m tender headed and she doesn’t hurt at all I could even wear my Goddess locks in a ball on the top of my head immediately after she finishes. I found Sunshine on Instagram. She had done Da Brats hair. It was so pretty I got her information and she did my hair the next Saturday. She’s very down to earth and if you make her your hairstylist you will not be disappointed. I have been going to Sunshine for nearly 3 years. First of all, her commitment to hair health is impeccable. She doesn’t just “do braids.” She has taken amazing care of my hair and it’s as healthy and long as it’s ever been. My braids are always done in excellence and I never need to take pain relievers after. I always get compliments on my Locs and people ask me how long have I had them because they look so natural. I got medium knotless braids from Sunshine and I absolutely love them! They are super neat and tension free. She is very professional and gave me tips on how to keep my natural hair healthy. I was so pleased with my braids, I sent my son to get his locs repaired by Sunshine.
