Every time I go to Kate, I leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and rejuvenated. The space is welcoming and peaceful, and Kate is warm, friendly, and just all around lovely. I typically get the deluxe dermaplane and it is well worth it every time - highly, highly recommend!

I noticed Surya Spa while walking my regular loop in Magnolia. I made a brow wax appointment to check it out. Kate did a fantastic job. I saw that she was offering microneedling, which I had been curious about. I didn’t want to do anything too invasive, but was looking for a way to even out my skin tone and look a little younger. Kate gave me a good overview of the procedure and what to expect (everyone’s skin is different, so results vary). It was a great experience. I have had two sessions and have seen a noticeable difference with each. She also checked in post-procedure. It’s a bonus to have a local Magnolia business to support. Thanks Kate!

I highly recommend Surya Spa. It is always hard finding a new place, especially when you move and live in a new area. Kate is amazing and very knowledgeable. Not only does she do a great job; she is professional, keeps a very clean environment, and answers any questions you may have. For example, I see her regularly for waxing needs and I love her lash lift/tint. Go see her!!

I've been going to Kate for a variety of services for years, she's absolutely amazing. She's incredibly knowledgeable about all things skin related and always answers my questions about individual skin needs. The results from the diff facials I've tried are so noticeable, and she makes skincare products for at-home use that I cannot live without (the vitamin C serum is 🤌). I am always recommending her to my friends!!!

I’ve never had a facial before as I’ve had a long history of chronic allergies and dermatitis, but I really wanted to have a positive experience with my skin. I’m so glad I saw Kate because not only was it a fabulous and relaxing facial, but my extremely sensitive skin came out feeling cool, smooth and not red in the slightest. For anyone nervous go see her!

Best wax in Seattle! This really is about as quick and painless of a wax you could possibly get, especially after a year of covid! I appreciate the use of hard wax and the relaxing spa atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive into magnolia. Parking is easy to find right in front. Also you can not beat the price!

Kate is the best! I most recently received the dermaplaning facial and it was incredible. I couldn’t believe how wonderful and soft (and glowing) my skin felt after this service. I have had other facials with Kate that are also great. I couldn’t recommend the services at Surya Spa enough. I also get my brows waxed at Surya Spa with Kate and her attention to detail is awesome. I walk away from each service feeling so refreshed.

LOVE Kate! Not only does my skin always look amazing no matter what service I do, i.e Brazilian or facial. Her attention to detail is astounding. The space she has created is like no other environment of a spa I have been to. I have been to a lot. It’s an amazing one on one experience with her greeting you at the door! No more large waiting rooms. You come away feeling like you had a day at the spa and hung out with a close friend. I couldn’t recommend her enough! Surya Spa is a diamond in the rough.

Referred to Kate by my previous waxer (moved out of town). Easy to make an appointment, even same day via text. Kate’s Surya Spa is clean, calming, smells delicious, and had the right volume on the “bells” background noise. It is cozy and comfortable. Has a separate bathroom. Kate is a professional, so easy to connect with, and flexible. My first service was a wax - she listened to my request to make it more comfortable, it went quickly and, while not 100% painless - which it NEVER is, it was overall a positive experience. I am making her my regular for that service! Next service was a facial. Ahhhh what a treat!! Kate really shines in the care she puts in to her clients. She is very considerate and makes sure to give good aftercare advice. Definitely put Surya Spa on a self-care checklist y’all!!

The 75 minute Surya Spa facial is magical. Kate is so talented at what she does and I can't recommend this service enough. First of all, Kate's sweet little studio is like like a cocoon of sanity. You'll love it. This was my first treatment with her and the whole thing was like a meditative ritual. In addition to the great smelling natural products (many of which she blends herself), in this treatment you get a foot and calf massage, arm and hand massage and a neck and face massage that will send you in to bliss. Kate is very knowledgeable and intuitive. She knew with one quick look that my skin was sensitive and dry (true and true) and so she chose treatments and therapeutic grade essential oils with hydrating and anti-inflammatory properties. My skin looks and feels amazing. I'll be back for sure.

Kate does an amazing job on waxing! Love it and highly recommend getting a wax here. She uses a combination of hard and soft wax. She is very knowledgeable and helpful if you have questions. She also uses an amazing product line that is all essential oils that I believe she makes herself.

I've been seeing Kate for years for waxing, tinting and facials. The prices are amazing and she has a super flexible schedule. Her facials are 75 minutes of pure bliss. So much massage is included during the facial it's like getting two services in one! I always leave her spa feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. I also love her organic skin care line which she makes in her spa! I love the White Tea Facial Exfoliant and use the Immortelle Moisturizing Lotion on a daily basis. It leaves my skin smooth and glowing. Treat yourself to a visit to Surya Spa!

Surya Spa is a relaxing retreat conveniently located in the heart of Magnolia. I’ve been going to Kate almost 5 years for waxing and facials. Kate does the best brow waxes; providing a polished look while maintaining the fullness of my brows. Kate’s facials are the most relaxing I’ve ever had; the extractions and treatments are gentle; and the arm, hand and foot rock massages and cozy heated blankets take the facial to another level. She also makes her own skin care products that are high quality and effective; they all smell amazing! On top of all of this, Kate is an absolute joy to visit with during the services.
