A few months ago I booked a cut with a stylist who “specialized in curly mixed hair”. It’s taken me this long to even want to write a review because of how unhappy I was and still am. I walked in with curly hair that was past my bra line, and asked for face framing and more volume in the back. The stylist cut about 5 inches off my hair. I asked the stylist to stop cutting cause it was too short and she kept cutting length despite my request. After shampooing and styling, my hair was about to the tops of my shoulder and extremely uneven. I cried for days. I booked another appointment the following week with a different salon to correct the haircut. Finally got my face framing and volume but now I have a Bob. Traumatizing

If you live in Arizona, you should get your hair done here. I’ve been coming here since last year and wouldn’t change it! Everyone is so friendly and especially LUZ. She’s accommodating and reasonable with your hair care! I highly recommend her👍🏻

Luz is amazing! Great customer service and she is truly talented! Literally best hair cut I've ever had. She is a color genius, she really listened to what I wanted and nailed it spot on! I cannot wait for my next appointment! Overall the salon is super cute, clean, and is full of positive energy.

I've been seeing Luz Rueda for approximately 10 years. Every time she works on my hair, I feel so relaxed...maybe because of her technique. Her prices are very reasonable. She's also given me tips on how I can better take care of my hair. Her recommendations have always been on point! She's one of the best!!

Had Adrian cut my hair and was less than pleased with the results. The back was cut shorter on one side than the other. There were also lines left on both side of my head that should have been blended in. Sloppy work at best!!

I've been going to Swank Salon for years. The work I've had done and seen on others is exceptionally good. They continually look at new and gentler products for their customers. Also, when you spend a great deal of time in a place, as you do in a salon, it is important to feel comfortable. In their environment, it feels like they are family to each other as well as with their clients. Great place!

I was looking for a drastic hair cut last minute on a Saturday morning- he worked me in after I told him I was traveling Sunday and I found out he worked me in AFTER they closed! I walked in and he quickly assessed what I wanted and gave me an amazing hair style. I had just moved here and will be a devoted customer to maintain this awesome sassy haircut!

I went to Swank to get a haircut. I asked for just a cut - no styling. Adrian asked me what I wanted so I explained that I wanted a trim because I hadn't gotten my hair cut in around 6 months. He didn't even bother to wash my hair. He cut my hair dry and did a terrible job. The top of my layers weren't even trimmed. He charged me $30 for 20 minutes of his time. I will never go there again. Had to pay someone else two weeks later to fix my hair and trim the ends so it didn't look so damaged.
