I’ve tried a few people since moving to Colorado a year and a half ago and haven’t been happy with the outcomes. I went into Holly at Sweep and FINALLY someone understood what I wanted and I have my confidence in my hair back!

Chloe is phenomenal. I’ve gone to her for a hair cut + blow out, multiple dry cuts, and recently a color. She is amazing at asking probing questions to make sure she’s doing exactly what I want while also giving her opinion if asked. 100% recommend!!!

Just wanted to write this for future clients. This was the first time getting my hair done in over 8 months, going to a new stylist is always scary for me for good reason. I wanted a small amount of blonde in the front around the face, i asked for it not to be warm but a more cool toned(which it is incredibly warm, almost a caramel color. I don’t think any toner was used during the wash). I got a hair cut which came out pretty well but now that i’ve had the time to play with my hair at home my bangs are uneven. I wanted the rest of my hair darker, no highlights, just darker dye to even out all the hair color because I had a lot of blonde undertones coming through. the first time the color didn’t take so thankfully she did do it again which I appreciate but after I washed my hair for the first time I already see quite a bit of the blonde/warm undertones coming back from my hair from one wash! She said it may fade a little after my first wash but I was not expecting this much to fade. I wasn’t even there for 2 hours and it was almost $300, which is so insane to me. salon was nice and clean and stylist was very sweet but not worth the price.

I highly recommend Katee at Sweep Hale! I have never experienced a hair stylist who cares more than Katee does. She always takes extra time to explain things to me, share her knowledge & expertise, and recommend products and styles that will actually work for my specific hair type. I never feel judged for asking for what I want and I feel like Katee truly listens. She is one of a kind!

I had a fantastic experience at Sweep Salon, thanks to Holly. Lauren helped me set everything up, and she was amazing. As a person with a disability, I appreciated the back entrance, which made access easy. I found Holly through a Reddit/Discord community. Holly provided exceptional service, guiding me through the process and offering valuable professional advice for my hair. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, and I look forward to returning to see Holly and the rest of the crew."

Maggie is a fantastic stylist! She's knowledgeable with blondes and also quick and efficient. She takes the time to listen and offer suggestions. I highly recommend Maggie.

LOVE my haircut from Maggie D. Love it. I’ve gone to Chloe as well for a transformational cut and absolutely loved it. The salon is super comfy, the products are well curated and I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with any stylist. ❤️

I LOVE my haircut from Holly! This was my first ever 'curly cut' and I was super nervous, but Holly was great! They tailored my haircut for me and my needs. Elle J did an amazing job on my hair. I had a balayage and haircut done by her. She got the perfect tone and I love the root shadow she did on me. I was indecisive on how I wanted my hair cut and she took charge and gave me a great cut. I look forward to days I get to sit in her salon chair and have her work her magic on my hair. Thanks Elle J! Elle J is brilliant at her craft! This is true balayage at its finest. I love the effortless French girl chic look and the naturalness that true balayage creates. Elle J is a genius at creating just the right balance of light in my medium brown hair. I couldn't have been any happier with the results and I have been looking for a long time! I've seen her twice now. The salon itself is just beautiful...so inviting, chic, airy. I love the ambiance. The other phenomenal thing about this salon is their choice of products...not only are they good for the earth and the environment, they are good for our bodies as well. Highly effective, clean products is the way of the future as we all learn to take better care of ourselves and our planet. I couldn't recommend this salon any more highly. Oh, and did I mention I was greeted with a delicious cup of organic chamomile orange peel tea in a lovely ceramic tea cup? I am adding to my review! I get my hair cut by Morgan and she is such a natural and talented haircutter. She is amazing at the nuances of a haircut...softening where needed, cutting to enhance the bone structure and features of the face. Now that I've been to her a few times and she knows my hair, it is such a luxury to just invite her to do her thing and to know that I am in the best hands. I have found a dream team with Morgan and Elle J and have truly never been happier with my hair. I can't recommend both of them enough!

I appreciate the gentle approach to balayage here. I have been blonde since 2016 or so and just this winter went dark brown (happens to the best of us). Morgan and Renee have taken me back to a beautiful light brunette/blonde in two sessions and my hair doesn’t feel fried. I appreciate the attention to detail and the knowledgeability about how to maintain and protect the color. This is THE place to go for a balayage if you don’t want to worry about how it’ll look after.

I could not be luckier to have Elle J do my hair! I’ve gone to so many people who do balayages and they typically fade quickly and the grow up process looks really rough. Elle J is intuitive and skilled with her balayages! Not only do they grow out beautifully but my hair has never felt healthier. Beyond her hair skills, she’s an amazing person and the easiest girl to talk to while getting your hair done. I just love her!!!

I haven’t yet stepped foot into the Denver location but I wanted to leave Elle J a review. I previously had a hairstylist where I was living before and it started off great, until one session where he left my foils in for too long because he was distracted dealing with his booking system. I had empathy for him but I had spent the last three years growing out my hair, and his non-toxic products were left in for so long the bottom 3 inches of my hair were toast and I had wisps falling out in his hands. Needless to say … when I finally saw Elle J it had been about 9 months since my last session and I was looking BUSTED. She skillfully blended my hair and came and checked on the foils regularly to make sure it wasn’t frying. We decided to go slow (which … is what I was trying to do with the other stylist … anyways) and will take my hair up blonder in a way that maintains as much structural integrity as possible. Important to note, my curls were NOT damaged when she did my hair, and since she also knows how to style curly hair, we ended up leaving it curly instead of straightening it or blowing it out. Naturally I have 0 photos from right after leaving the salon, but I do have some from recent events that show what a great job she did.

I scheduled a hair appointment at this Salon on 12/11/2020! So excited to treat myself after quite some time in quarantine. No haircuts or professional pampering due to a pandemic but recently moved from AR to CO. Great reviews and not picky on whomever did the balayage because I trust the professionals. Well, I arrived of course mask and all.. and given the stylist Renee Barnes. I’m truly flexible with the vision and show some “inspo” pics but mainly let the artist do what she/he see fits best! It’s hair, will grow out can be cut. Still excited for a new color! I do have Asian black hair but had some previous highlights before. I work 3 jobs so again, really looked forward to this experience. Unfortunately, Renee told me “You have blacker hair than a black person” (verbatim ) which kind of shocked me… and told me I would need a couple sessions to lighten it. Which no problem at all. Of course, expected it to be a process and appreciated the umm… straightforward disclaimer. I felt quite belittled because she kept asking me “when did you get your haircut? Honey you need to take better care of it” and honestly we were in a Pandemic so “self-care” and getting a routine haircut was one I had to forego.. due to the circumstances. Renee kept commenting about how I needed to take better care of my hair and she “just can’t do anything with it” which was quite discouraging. It was a 2.5-3 hour appointment… On my own fault I should have inquired pricing but oh my goodness it was $350!!!!! I was just dumbfounded. Of course I tipped over 20% because of labor but it was such a choppy and poor done job… truly, sporadic highlights… the front had one highlight? Not sure what the vision was… I always wanted to write an honest review but never felt the courage to do so. However, I felt like I was treated without dignity and snide kind of demeaning comments too. I love reading reviews. Writing one now for future clients!

If you need a cut go see Ashly. She just moved to this super cute salon and she's phenomenal. I've been seeing her for the last two years and she has transformed my relationship with my hair. She teaches you how to work with your texture and my hair has never been healthier or lower maintenance. I never thought I'd do anything besides an all one length curly cut but Ashly truly is the Colorado Queen of Bangs and she makes them look so good on me. She's just a hair artist.

Renee Barnes is one of the best, if not the best, hair stylist I have ever worked with. She knows what she is doing and can take your ideas and make them into a perfect reality. I trust her completely. Been to her twice and I’m never going elsewhere. Sweep has gorgeous facilities, nice staff and amazing products. The price is totally fair, and for the quality I receive, absolutely a steal. I love the location too. I highly recommend Renee, I don’t know how she could ever disappoint!

Absolutely love my balayage and trim from Lauren. I didn't give her much direction and she gave me the most natural looking highlights that perfectly complemented and added dimension to my hair color. Pricing was very fair and competitive . Plus, the design of the salon is SO cute. I will definitely be back.

Sweep has become my absolute favorite place to get my hair done! The entire staff makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. During the current covid pandemic, they are following the safest protocols to ensure everyone’s safety. I have been seeing Anna and she has done such an amazing job on helping me achieve my hair goals. Definitely recommend Sweep Balayage Bar!
