I've been coming here for haircuts and bang trims for five years now! I love the excellent service, styling, and beautiful space Nick and Norm have cultivated.

Haircuts are on point. Friendly hairstylist. Very difficult to reschedule and cancel appointment. Never received any reply back until the morning of the appointment. I tried multiple times 2 weeks prior to the appointment to reschedule through the app and kept putting me on waitlist. I called, no answer so I left a voicemail more than 24 hours before the appointment. I sent a text the night before the appointment. And received a text back the morning of the appointment letting me know that I will be charged late cancellation fee. And now I saw $80 charge on my credit card. The difficulty of canceling and rescheduling through the app and via phone cost me $80. I guess I’ll look for new hair salon that is more responsive when you’re trying to cancel and reschedule and not end up blind sighting me with $80 late cancellation fee. I was not late in canceling/rescheduling. They were just not responding to my request.

I’ve been seeing Nick since 2020 and I have never looked back. Every time we have an appointment I come out feeling like my best self. Since being his client I’ve had my hair cut in different types of shags and I bounce between curtain and baby bangs. In my last visit he took my naturally dark brown hair to the perfect copper/red. My husband has also started going to Norm and he always leaves with the best soft mullet. I highly highly recommend Nick and Norm, especially if you’re looking for a razor cut. They are truly the best at what they do.

Trust me, she's the best there is. My colour is always even and so are my bangs after a trim. 5 stars every time. I mostly love going here because they are always professional and they get the job done right. I have been going to this salon for a very long time. They play awesome music and it's super chill.

I had such a great experience at Sweet Jane today. Nick worked magic with my straight, fine hair, creating lots of volume and texture. I love the cut so much! I've been cutting my own hair since my old stylist moved out of state in 2021. While it's fun to cut your own hair, I am under no illusions that I'm good at it 🤣 Nick gave me a fun lived-in bob, and I feel cool again! Nick and Norm were both very kind and I'm looking forward to returning soon.

This is my second haircut with Norm and I am so happy to have found him! He really listens to what I want and he does such artful, meticulous work. My hair looked great on the first day and grew out nicely between visits.

I recently received cut and a highlight from Nick. He definitely knows his craftsmanship, and is quite a talent!. Nick & Norman make you feel right at home. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Will continue to be a client, and am thrilled to have Nick as my hairdresser! The salon's aesthetically very pleasing and inviting. Music 🎵🎶 and over all vibe is relaxing & these two gentleman, Norman & Nick are seasoned and are the best at what they do! If you're reading this a review, I would suggest you to check out the salo you won't be disappointed!

Nick has been my stylist for the past three years. I recently moved out of state and I am so much going to miss my time in the chair with his gentle hands and kind words. You won’t find another talent out there quite like Nick. He transformed my fine hair over our years together into a healthy, voluminous and gorgeous work of art. I wish Nick & Sweet Jane all the success 🩵

The best hair salon I have been too. After doing hours of research to find a hair salon that fit my needs ( ASD/ anxiety/etc) I stumbled upon Sweet Jane Salon. There are only two stylist there: Norman and Nicholas. Nick cut and styled my hair beautifully. He is a true artist and he loves what he does and it shows in his work. Honestly my hair has never looked better. I didn’t really know what I wanted my hair to look like so I told him the things I wished my hair had more of ( volume, shape, long enough to put into a ponytail). The results speak for themselves. In conclusion, if you have an opportunity to get your hair cut here, don’t hesitate… book the appointment.

I am a newer client at Sweet Jane salon. I brought in pixie haircut photos I liked to show Norman, talented stylist extraordinaire. Norman designed a unique pixie cut style that suited my hair quality and face shape. I was so delighted with the stylish end result which is easy to maintain and has grown out beautifully, until my next pre-scheduled appointment. The salon itself is welcoming, relaxing and cozy. Sweet Jane is Sweet- and so is Norman!

I came to Sweet Jane Salon just a month after having moved to San Diego. This new to me warm climate, levels of humidity, along with different hardness of water just made it hard to feel comfortable in the long hair that I had. Norman really took the time to get to know my hair type, how I like to wear and style it etc. before proceeding with solutions. His attention to detail throughout the visit made it easy to notice that he truly cares, enjoys his craft and takes pride in the work he does. Despite this being my first cut with Norman, the combination of his approach and his kind and delightful personality made me feel comfortable in his hands as if I were his client for some time now. I’m definitely happy to recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new hair stylist.

I had to get baby bangs due to year of split dying my hair and one side ended up just completely fried short. I booked with Norman after researching and seeing his work. I was so nervous because it’s not something I would usually go for but I needed to do something with my hair. Immediately the environment in this salon and his consultation I felt I was in safe hands. I was blown away by the results and his attention to detail. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I have had 3 haircuts with Norman, and absolutely recommend him! He took my hair from a thick bob cut down to a sweet pixie razor cut - amazing shape that grows out beautifully. He is a wonderful hair-doer -highly skilled, interested in what you want to do, and a kind person. Best haircuts!

I recently visited Sweet Jane Salon for the first time. I was desperate for a haircut, and scheduled one with Nick. I absolutely love the haircut he gave me. He transformed my hair into a stylish and easy-to-maintain cut. He also styled my hair in such a way that I will be able to replicate the style on my own at home. The salon also has a cool and calming atmosphere, which feels very authentic and personal. I will definitely be back!

Lovely spot and skilled, lovely people. I see Norm every few months for a haircut. I generally have an idea of what I want and he’s a great listener and blends my description with his skill for great results! If you just want talented stylists, this is your spot. Nick and Norm are so sweet! I received a wonderful haircut from Norm. I walked in only knowing I wanted a new cut to make my hair healthier! Norm took the reins. adding some framing layers while still leaving a the option to pull back my hair as I need to do so at work. I left feeling confident and beautiful! Nothing but high praises for Sweet Jane!

Sweet Jane is such a beautiful place a business! As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed. This was my first appointment with Nick and he did such an amazing job on my cut! It was so refreshing to sit in a chair with a true hair artist and feel him do his work. I have thick, unmanageable hair and he transformed it into the most beautiful shag! I cried! My cut is so easy to manage now and I leave the house with so much confidence. Thank you, Nick! See you in a a couple months!

This place is special. I loved my hair cut and I loved the vibe. It was so relaxing and warm. Norman was fantastic. Plus, I appreciate their laid back personalities. I’m not a huge talker and I can get turned off by heavy talkers (just a personal preference). Norman had the perfect balance for me. Asked a few questions here and there and stayed very focused on his work. 🥰
