I found Swink looking for a hair and makeup artist for my holiday party. Since I booked late, I could only squeeze in makeup. Ja made me look phenomenal. Her personality was warm and inviting and she used her creativity while listening to what I wanted with feedback. We got done a bit early so I asked if we could squeeze in a dry style. Ja was more than happy to accommodate me and curled my hair to perfection. I would absolutely go back and use Swink again! Thank you, Ja for making me feel beautiful and confident for my company party!

me and a friend both got blowouts here, they looked really good while we were in the salon but immediately after we left we realized it made our hair so dry and tangled it was actually insane. i don’t know what products they might’ve used to cause this but it left both of our heads matted and made our hair a completely different texture. It was also pretty expensive for the quality received.

Service is truly subpar. Very basic. For expense and customer experience, go to a salon. Used to be a very convenient place to get a good blowout. No longer the case.

Absolutely fabulous place! I made an appointment for a blow out and scalp massage. Alex was amazing! My hair looked stunning and one of the best scalp massages I’ve had! I left feeling refreshed and hair on point :)

Had a really horrible experience here. I don’t think they train their staff well. I left looking like a clown and was embarrassed to even go outside. She didn’t use any heat protectant either and would hold the blow dryer directly in one spot on high for way too long which I have never had happen to me before. Not worth the money at all and she could see how upset I was when I was leaving and didn’t say anything just that “it will look better later.” Go to Seattle Beauty Boss if you are looking for a qualified person who is kind and professional!

Swink was a great choice! Alex was our beautician and she was absolutely amazing. Brought a friend here new to makeup and Alex gave a wonderful detailed demonstration on what would look good on my friend. She was so knowledgeable and kind. The salon is nice, calm vibes. 10/10 would recommend for any makeup look you are going for! Thank you Alex for a great experience!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Beautiful layout, nice location and the best products around for haircare. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. Liv was fantastic! Used great products, was open to feedback, took direction well and was patient. Highly recommend!

I booked an appointment for 1 as I had a photoshoot at 2 (I mentioned that I had a schedule at 2 when I made the appointment via phone). However, when I got there, I had to wait 30 mins and the stylist rushed my hair in 10 min. My hair looked like something I would do at home, which was sad and disappointing. My makeup stylist had to retouch my hair :(

I visited Swink as I needed to book hair and make up last minute for my maternity photo sessions. They were able to fit me in, and did an amazing job- I felt beautiful and have photos to show for it. I have booked MUA professionals to come to my house in the past, but this option was more affordable, and they did an excellent job- will definitely book again for future needs. I had to get my hair and makeup done hours before, and the hair stylist and MUA did a great job making sure my hair and makeup would last.

I was really disappointed with the way the workers carried themselves when my sister was getting married. We asked for hair and makeup done for the bride 3 bridesmaids and 2 moms and a flower girls hair. The bride and 2 bridesmaids got their makeup and hair but one of our bridesmaids and both of the moms left with only their hair done and no makeup, and not even good makeup and hair!! Like wth u ask for full coverage and get barely anything, this girl be dabbing my face with a shadow brush?? Like girl commonnn add some pruductttt don’t be shyyyyy!! The bride and bridesmaids were not happy with their makeup we had to redo the brides eye makeup because it was not noticeable at all and they didn’t even fill in her eyebrows, you really said let me ruin this girls wedding, I don’t recommend this place if ur looking for a full coverage bridal makeup because by the time I left the salon the makeup was completely gone…. We also had to pay the full amount when half of our girls didn’t even get the full services, WASTE OF MONEYYYYY!

I went in for a simple blowout and asked for beachy waves and even showed a picture of exactly what I was looking for. I left with ringlets. The entire thing cost $75 including tip. Horrible value to price ratio and wouldn't come here again.

The girl who did my hair was nice enough, but she was unable to actually do anything to my hair other than curl it. I wanted a few small pieces pulled back and curls all over. She was unable to secure my hair behind my head without it falling. My curls all fell out within three hours and my friend ended up curling my hair and putting it up like I wanted to begin with. I know my hair texture can be hard to work with, but if my friend who has no cosmetology training can make the curls stay and secure a few pieces behind my head I’d expect someone I’m paying to be able to do so as well.

Unfortunately this was a really bad experience, I came for a blow-out and dry style for a wedding I am attending today. My stylist was nice but she didn’t give me a blow-out at all, she didn’t use a round brush she just blew dry my hair with a flat brush and then curled it. my hair is so heavy from the amount of product she used when she took the curls out of the pins they just fell. When I checked out the receptionist had to ask if I got a blowout — I had to go home and re-curl my whole head. But the amount of product she used it made my hair so heavy that didn’t hold either. The product she used on my roots dried and when I brushed it out it just looked like dandruff. I didn’t have time to shower and redo my hair since I got my hair done for the event. I have had to wear my hair up and it is not what I wanted at all.

Very friendly staff, unfortunately the blowdry I received was sup-par. I asked for big and bouncy and got limp and lifeless. It would have also been nice to have a more comfortable sink too, my neck hurt after and there was no offer of a drink which I always appreciate in salons.

Came into town for a wedding and wanted a luxurious morning. Swink was perfect! Great, long-lasting up do done by Qiana. It only took 40 minutes and took all the stress out of getting ready. 10/10 recommend!

I scheduled just a blow dry and dry style. They called me two days ahead of the appointment to confirm my appointment, then called me the afternoon before my appointment to cancel my appointment for the following morning, leaving me literally no time to find somewhere else to go.

My 4 year old daughter and I were treated so well at Swink. Neither of us can wait to go back! They were so accommodating and worked both of us in, even though I didn’t make an appointment for my daughter and their schedule was packed! The service was top tier. ❤️

Swink does a GREAT job for blowouts and will make sure you look your best. Styling cost extra, if they end up using a styling tool such as a curling iron or flat iron. They use either Living Proof or Moroccan Oil to wash and style your hair. If you have long textured hair, make sure you talk to the stylist first about your expectations to ensure she has experience blowing out textured hair, so it's not frizzy/poofy.

Absolutely Terrible Service. I was scheduled for a blow out and a style. My appointment was done in less than 30 minutes. My hair was blow dried quickly with a few curls thrown in. Additionally, the stylist was extremely unpleasant and the manager had a client in the chair next to mine and should have been aware enough to see this behavior but said nothing. I tried explaining to the receptionist that I was not happy with my services-but she didn't seem to care. Absolute waste of time and money. I will not be recommending any of their services.

Honestly, read the reviews and just don’t go. I asked for beach waves, simple enough, done with a curling iron or straightener with STRAIGHT ENDS. I ended up with ringlets, going to have to go back through and straighten them down. Got my makeup done, it’s honestly so damn basic and barely even there as far as coverage goes. Way beyond overpriced. The girls were very sweet but their skills are lacking, it’s highway robbery to charge this much for this skill level.

My daughter chose Swink for hair and makeup for her wedding. She was getting makeup only and the mothers and sisters (no wedding party) were all to get hair and makeup. One person was told two weeks before the wedding that her makeup could not be done because of time and staffing even though it was booked for months. She had to walk to Sephora after her hair was done. No one got the hair they wanted - one even had to purchase a curling iron, because we were all from out of town, to go back to her hotel and curl it so it would hold. My hair was only a blow-out but it was flat and did not have any 'blowout' body and I left feeling that I could have done much better on my own. The makeup was better but no prepping the skin made mine sink into my wrinkles within about an hour. We were supposed have a champagne toast and that did not happen. It was a disconnected experience and very disappointing. But still very expensive!! I do not recommend investing your wedding dollars here. What is promoted is not what is delivered.
