I was given a gift certificate to TL Spa Skin Studio for a facial. When I finally redeemed it I was kicking myself for not making time for it sooner. It was the best experience. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Tyrla was easy to talk to, made me feel comfortable and my skin feel amazing. The location is very cozy and clean. I can't wait to return!

Hands down the best spa/services/people EVER! Tyrla truly goes above and beyond for her clients, she is extremely well educated in her craft and she makes me feel totally relaxed and beautiful (even during Brazilians. That's how you know she's super good :) ). Some added bonuses: booking online is a breeze, there are always awesome skincare products available, Tyrla always has new cutting edge techniques/ cool gadgets to maximize results and prices are sooo good for the services you receive. I don’t get here as often as I’d like but I’ve been coming for years. Acupuncture and massage by Linda is the best. I didn’t know I could feel so good after one hour! Treat yourself, you won’t regret it. Facials by Tyrla are equally as wonderful. 😊

I initially went for waxing services (which are great) and eventually started getting facials as well. She is hands down the best facial I have ever had! I have been seeing Tyrla for over 3 years to get my Brazilian wax. She does the best job and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! I used to have really bad ingrown hairs but they are nearly all gone after getting regular Brazilian waxes from her. She is the best. Amazing human being and amazing spa. She's kind, welcoming, and knows how to keep conversation light and engaging. She's professional, treats you like a friend, and always gives great beauty advice! Im the type of girl my friends would describe as “frugal”. Spending money on facials, nails, hair, or even clothes is a one time a year deal for me...So what brought miss frugal to T&L Spa? Out of nowhere I began breaking out on my cheeks. It would clear up and Bam! back again! I had no idea why me, being in my late 20s was breaking out more than I did as a teen! Months went by and I had tried everything. One day I asked my skin glowing coworker her skin routine and she told me about Rhonda Allison products and her monthly facials at T&L. I was desperate so I made an appointment. I had no idea what facial to pick so I explained over the phone my issues and they recommended being a first timer to do a full hour signature facial. My appointment was with Tyrla and she not only made me feel like royalty with her magic facial skills and essential oils, dimmed room, and comfy bed and robe, she listened to me!!! I can’t tell you how impressed I was that she truly wanted to find out what was going on so this woman not only had me bring all my makeup into our next appointment to read the ingredients, she also “face mapped” me and told me that the area I was breaking out was from the digestive tract meaning it was something I was eating. We started by eliminating Dairy and that’s all it took. Within 3 days my face was clear! I continued going to Tyrla for express facials which were equally amazing until I moved out of state. I still think about those facials all the time and can’t wait to get back in San Diego to book an appointment! Can’t recommend them enough!

It takes some time to find trusted new care providers, like a hairdresser or aesthetician, when you move from a different city or state. I went to a couple that were okay in San Diego when I moved from AZ - then I found Tyrla at T L Spa. She is a fantastic, knowledgeable, and caring aesthetician and skin care provider, and I have not seen anyone for my waxing or skin care since. I had my first chemical peel with her, and it could not have been better - she explained the process and the after-effects thoroughly, and gave me the products I needed (moisturizer, balm, cleanser, etc) for my face after. She has always worked around my schedule and been kind when traffic was not. Regardless of where I apartment hop around this city, I will continue to keep going to T L Spa!

Tyrla and Linda are both amazing! I don't live in San Diego anymore, but I lived there for many years, and Tyrla was my waxing MVP!! She is amazing! She always did a terrific job, used wonderful products and best of all is among the kindest people I have ever met. When she took maternity leave, her mom Linda stepped right in and did a great job, and was a hoot to talk to! Tyrla is also a wonderful facialist. Best of all, Tyrla and Linda are honest, good people. You will look -- and feel better -- each time you visit.

Get ready to experience the most amazing facial you've ever had! Tyrla did just that for me. As a spa junkie, I have a spa treatment at least once a month and have received treatments all over the US. The treatment I did has been my favorite facial to date! She addressed my concerns, customizing the facial throughout. And my skin feels AMAZING! The spa is very clean and everyone I came in contact with was thoughtful and kind. My only regret was not scheduling a full day there! Thank you Tyrla! When I come back to beautiful San Diego, I'll be seeing you again!

I found this spa by google-Ing spas near me. And I think I got so lucky in finding such a peaceful, neat, with great team and customer service Spa. I had my first facial with Tyrla the founder of this spa, and oh my!!! I had the best 45 minutes of my life. I promise! Tyrla is so knowledgeable, and profesional, she has blessed hands. I went to TL Spa & Wellness for my first ever facial last year, and was completely blown away by every aspect of the experience. I had always heard mixed stories of what to expect from a facial, and was a little nervous coming into it, but that quickly diminished. The ambiance is tranquil, welcoming, and therapeutic. Tyrla gave me an overview of what to expect, and made me feel so comfortable. The facial itself was incredible and so much more relaxing than I had ever expected. The shoulder and neck massage was one of the best I've ever had! My skin looked and felt amazing afterwards, and from that moment, I vowed to incorporate these facials into my wellness routine. I highly reccomend TL Spa and Wellness!
