I’ve been going to Yvette for my hair for a while now, and I honestly can’t recommend her enough! She’s not only incredibly talented at styling my hair—always knowing exactly what I want—but she’s also the most personable and professional hairdresser I’ve ever had. Every visit feels like catching up with an old friend because Yvette always remembers what’s going on in my life and takes the time to check in. It’s such a warm, welcoming experience every time. I also love the family dynamic in her salon. Her adult son works alongside her as an assistant and store clerk, which gives the whole place such a nice, community feel. They make a great team, and it’s clear they both care about their customers. If you’re looking for someone who will make you feel at home and give you a fabulous hairstyle, Yvette is the one!

Love this studio. Love Yvette. No need to look any further. This is the place. I was recommended to Yvette almost 20 years ago and been a loyal client ever since. From crazy colors to natural color and updos for my wedding or friends. Yvette has always been there.

I always have a fantastic experience at Tabula Rasa and can't recommend the salon enough. Update July 2023: Yvette is still as fantastic as she has always been and I continue to have outstanding experiences. She remembers me every time I visit and I'm a client who comes maybe once a year. Update November 2023: Definitely visit Yvette and have a fantastic salon experience. She's great to talk with and will always give you great suggestions when you're not sure what you want to do with your hair.

I have been a customer of Yvette’s for many years and have always been so very impressed and satisfied with how good of a stylist she is and not to mention what an amazing person she is in and of herself! Her studio is beautiful and comfortable as well as having all the comforts of not just a hair appointment, but a whole spa experience with a great person who knows what good service means. I have been going to Yvette well over 20+ plus years. She never ceases to amaze me with her with knowledge of hair. I can show her what I want and she always executes it beautifully. I have never wanted to go to anyone else. She is definitely an inspiration and role model in every way. She is a terrific hair stylist and an even better friend. Thank you Yvette for being so wonderful to me and my family for these years and many more to come!!!

I’m so glad I found Yvette— I had been bouncing around a few salons around town but was always on the search for a one stop shop and I finally found it! She always understands and executes my vision and I hope to be going back to her for a long time!

What a great salon! Yvette did a fantastic job with my cut and made the whole experience positive. She really valued and respected what I wanted for my hair. She also gave great advice to help with hair health. I absolutely recommend this salon .

Yvette did an amazing job on my hair! Been jumping from salon to salon trying to find a home salon and feeling like the other salons always missed the mark. Yvette took the time to really go into detail on how to style my hair and her professional opinion on what haircut would work best with my face shape and style. 10/10 for sure.

Could not be happier with Yvette’s phenomenal work on reviving my hair. Went to see her two weeks ago, originally just wanting a trim because I am hesitant to ever do anything drastic (I know, I’m that silly scaredy cat). After visiting with her and letting her assess my hair, I was comfortable with having her restyle it, add new layers that would give it more body, and of course, she fixed my stubborn bangs. The studio is beautiful, welcoming and relaxing. Yvette’s incredible talent and ability to transform is definitely an experience. I’ve always been impressed with her work (her instagram is thrilling!) and I am grateful for what she did for me! I cannot wait to go back and have her add some fun color. Highly recommend for any hair type—my husband gets his hair cut here as well and every time I’ve loved it!

My hair was thin and gray and now is copper red with balayange which really looks great. Yvette is refreshingly honest,. Studio 15 is well decorated and tidy. I am 57 years old and pretty much had given up on my hair when I came to Studio 15 about eight months ago. Now my hair looks really healthy and great, with Yvette's improvements. She really knows her business and what looks best on hair.

Not only did MJ do such a phenomenal job on my hair, but from the moment I walked in he made me feel at home. From my sparse instructions he gavee the best haircut I've had in a long long time and the best color I've ever gotten. We moved to San Antonio 2 years ago and this was the 5th salon I've been to. I'm so so happy I can stop searching.

It’s always an absolute pleasure getting my hair done with Yvette Salazar. I do something different each time I see her and she always kills it, exceeding my expectations, knowing exactly what I want and what looks best. The colors, cuts and styles are always perfect and even better than I anticipated. She also makes sure to take care of the condition of my hair, which is important to me, and even after bleaching and coloring twice so far, my hair remains in flawless condition with no breakage whatsoever. It’s always a chill, but clean and tidy, environment in the salon. I’ve always had a hard time finding hair stylists I trust completely, and Yvette is a great find. I’ll never let anyone else touch my hair as long as I live in SA. Best stylist I’ve ever had, I always leave the salon obsessed with my new hair!

Yvette is a hair guru you can trust completely. I have been seeing her well over a year now, and she is trying her best to get my dry as straw hair back to health. While I have fought back a little to her suggestions, I let her do what she thinks is best and am finding that I Love her work! She really keeps your best interests in mind and is a genuine person. Definitely try her out, you’ll love her too. Be considerate though and don’t bring your little kids to the appointment with you. It’s a very chill environment at her salon and you’ll enjoy the break there and the wonders she does with your hair.

I did not make an appointment w/ these ppl because after calling, it sent you to the web to "make an appointment". How snobbish the lady on the phone sounded! I don't care to make an appointment w/ someone who doesn't care enough to TALK to me about what I might be looking for. You're not doing ME any favors by being in business.

Easily the best in Town. She's always spot on with what I'm looking for and is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to recommending something that will work for me. It's as though she's a hair physician (are there hair physicians?). Her online booking site is really pretty convenient. As a side note, the salon space has a very zen like feel. The natural lighting is great. I was there the day after the recent cool front blew through. They had the windows cranked open (literally, vintage casement windows) and the breeze only made the time I spent there more relaxing. If you're looking for a new hair dresser or have relocated here (such as me) I would highly recommend going to see Yvette.
