Was given a gift certificate and when I scheduled to use it for my birthday, was told I had been marked as a "no show" and could not use it. While it is true that I had previously scheduled, I also called in and cancelled a full day in advance. They were not interested in my business.

My best friend and I turned 40 together this week and went to Tala Salon for their Day of Beauty. The service was wonderful! Both of us had a wonderful time. The lunch catered in was delicious and all of the staff was amazing. Thank you Tala Salon for making us have such an amazing day!!! We felt so pampered and cared for. Thank you Sue, Amanda, and Paresa!!!!

The services were good BUT the owner will scam you!!! Four of us girls went for massages and facials on a Thursday. The owner was initially fantastic- she called in extra help to accommodate getting us in at the same time. The facial was very relaxing, came with exfoliation, mask, hand/foot massage and lip "gloss." I never felt pressured to buy anything, however, she was telling me all the products she was using. The massage was good too- my therapist was a little quirky- but she was personable and good. The problem came when we went to check out. I was charged $145 for both services. The owner, Sue, was ringing everybody up and never said how much she was charging us- just handed us the receipt after she ran our cards. I asked how I was supposed to tip the services and she said, "Oh, you should have told me before. I can run your card again." While I stood there, I looked at my receipt and received a shock- I was thinking I would pay $125, NOT $145. When I questioned her about the "European Facial" that I'd received for $80, I told her we'd signed up for the regular $60 facials. She said "that's a MINI FACIAL." She was very rude. I told her that no where online does it say "mini facial." She again said the $60 was a mini facial and that's what it said online. I told her that was absolutely false, pulled up her own website and showed her that "mini facial" isn't even an option, and besides that, she'd charged us MORE than the "European Facial" price on her website. She wouldn't converse with me after that- never responded to my questions. Below are pictures of my receipt with the actual charges, and a screen shot of her facials prices on her website. One of my friends offered me cash to tip so she didn't have to charge my card again since she apparently chooses random prices to assign- I handed her a $10 and a $20 as tips, she handed back the $10 and mumbled something I didn't quite catch. So all in all, my excellent aesthetician and massage therapist likely got screwed out of a tip because their boss has some sketchy business practices. I'd steer clear, which is unfortunate, because the people who work for her are obviously talented and are blinded by their bosses unethical practices.
