It’s hard to explain how rare and meaningful it is to find someone like Demi. An incredible hairstylist with so much expertise. I’m in awe of their skills. I’ve had 3 appointments over the last year and not to be dramatic, it’s truly changed my life. Beyond the most beautiful perfect gender-affirming hair cuts I’ve ever had, Demi is so caring. Like listens, for real. (Sometimes telepathically, I swear even my unsaid hair wishes come true in that chair.) Thank you, Demi. You have given me my best hair days. I will not trust my curly cut with anyone else! You are truly the best.

As someone who’s admittedly super neurotic about their hair, I had a really great experience with Demi for my first appointment! I felt that they took alot of care to understand exactly what I was wanting, and were also just a joy to talk with! I also really appreciate that gratuity is already factored into their rates, on top of their prices already being very reasonable. I will say that my blonde sections ended up taking the purple shampoo alot more than we expected and were a bit stained afterwards; however, I wouldn’t ding that against them as I’d never used purple shampoo before so neither of us would’ve known that it would react that way. They did offer to touch it up for free, which I really appreciated, but ended up not being necessary as it came out after a few washes.

Demi did an amazing job with an artistic freedom whole-head vivid dye job! Turned out extremely cool and was easily the fastest cut/bleach/dye I've ever had, for a very reasonable price. The vibes while getting it done were also fantastic, not a single complaint. Thanks Demi!

My daughter and I have had so many perfect haircuts by Demi and endlessly appreciate her careful attention to detail and patience as we describe our ideas for our take on super rad hair! Also! Demi is honest and provides extremely helpful expertise about options! Also, also! Fantastic master stylist! I have thick hair and they had me in their chair for less than 45 minutes! Usually I’m in a chair for a minimum of 75 with anyone else! Love my cut! Will absolutely be returning! :)

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the haircut and color I received from Demi!! Everything is exactly what I asked for! We did a really thorough consultation beforehand and I felt that Demi really listened and understood what I was asking for. I went to Demi specifically for their expertise in vivids and was not disappointed!

i have gone to demi a few times now and normally leave pleased with the work. the last haircut i received from them was very much the opposite. when i left the appointment my bangs were feeling a little short and uneven but i didn’t notice how uneven they were until getting home. there are chunks of hair missing from the bangs and there are parts that you can see my forehead through the hair which has never been the case and they were very jagged and not a all a straight across micro bang. i didn’t return to get it fixed because my bangs would’ve been far too short for me to feel comfortable with the cut. this is a disappointing review for me to make because i have had previous experience that were lovely, but this cut was pretty unacceptable

I got into Demi’s chair at the last minute for a wedding haircut, with no idea what I wanted, other than some sort of shag/mullet/whatever Demi thought would look best, total creative freedom. What I got in return a week later is nonstop compliments on my vacation for the destination wedding I’m attending. If I could give more stars, I would. High highly recommend seeing Demi, their chair is a safe space. Cannot wait for their hands to be back in my hair when I need another cut!

Demi is amazing. I have been seeing them for almost 3 years now. I always enjoy getting my hair done by Demi not only for the comfortable environment they create but I also walk out feeling 100% more confident then when I walked in. Demi creates a safe, inclusive environment for everyone and understands the triggers for people with neurodivergence. I will recommend Demi through and through!

I just recently visited Demi and I gotta say I was BLOWN AWAY. I found them through a co-worker and I don’t think I’ll ever stop going now! I’m a blue gal and the colors they use are so vibrant!! Not to mention I felt safe and secure with them the whole time, we talked while doing my hair and the process felt like I was a teenager again with a friend during summertime! Except this time it’s someone who knows hair lol. If you’re looking for an anti-judge zone and edgy styles they are definitely your person! 🩵

Demi has been the only person to cut my hair for the last year, and I don’t have intentions in changing that. The work they do always makes me feel confident in how I look and the experience of being in the studio is like seeing family at this point. They always listen to me and work with whatever cut I need, I’ve always left Demi’s studio feeling great.

Demi has cut both my hair and my six year old’s hair, and we have been super happy with our cuts! They are great at cutting curls and waves, and will actually give you the hair cut you ask for. I feel like so many stylists have this idea what kind of cut is appropriate for a middle aged mom and won’t deviate from it, but Demi will actually listen to you and help make sure you get a cut that reflects your taste. Their expertise and advice on how to achieve the vibes you are going for is invaluable! Thanks Demi!

Demi is so incredibly receptive and understanding! With very little explanation about my needs on the neurodivergent side, they immediately understood what would be best for me. I don’t get the chance to style my hair often but they understood the look I was wanting without too much conversation. And they nailed it! They’re very attentive to the smallest of details. I hardly mentioned that I’m sensitive around my ears and Demi makes it a point to ensure my ears are trimmed well and as long lasting as possible between cuts. They work hard to sustain styles for longevity while respecting needs/wants/boundaries. As a neuro spicy human, it’s been phenomenal to work with a stylist on the spectrum who understands so quickly and adapts to every need.

I have been seeing Demi for cut and color for about a year now, and they knock it out of the park every single time. I am not someone who enjoys going to appointments in general, but I look forward to time in Demi's chair. Their color work is fantastic, their cuts are fresh and compliment you, they listen to what you ask for and they deliver. I would be SO unhappy if I had to find a new stylist, and honestly I'm not convinced I would find one at all comparable. Outside their professionalism and skills, I also really enjoy chatting with Demi; they are a very cool, upstanding human and I appreciate that! Also their work space is very neurodivergent friendly and low-stress. I could not say enough positive things about them. Truly.

RUINED MY HAIR. I was really excited to support a queer and neurodivergent hair stylist in Denver but was so disappointed in the result. I asked for long shaggy layers and chocolate brown highlights. I let Demi know that I was getting married in 2 months and had spent the last 2 years growing my hair out for the wedding. I explicitly stated that I did not want to lose a lot of length. Demi gave me a horrible, choppy mullet with streaky yellow highlights that weren't evenly placed. I had to pay a different stylist to fix it, lost all the length on my hair, and have to spend more money on extensions for my wedding. Demi did give me a refund after the fact but reprimanded me for asking for the refund and not showing pictures at the salon. Demi did not ask to see reference photos on the day in the salon. I would not recommend.

Demi has given me some really nice, stylish haircuts :) My partner and I always look forward to chatting with her. She is so nice and does a wonderful job making the haircut experience comfy. She is also very good at listening to your requests, I was extremely pleased with how she trimmed my bangs and my long hair always feels so good afterward.

I reached out to Demi about a haircut for my 5 year old with Autism. Demi is the chillest and kindest human we’ve come into contact with and was spectacular about sensory needs, breaks, etc. for my child. They explained everything to my child, who was receptive to their demeanor and lovely salon space. In addition, it was a fabulous haircut and just what we needed! We will be going back again, and again….!

I’m super happy with the hair cut she was able to give me! It’s hard to find people nearby who specialize in mullets and shags and I’m so glad that they were able to provide. She created a very comfortable environment and was able to get me to talk about things that I’m interested in. They also were able to understand what I meant in terms of haircut and how that affects me sensory wise. I will definitely be coming back in the future! :)
