We came here to see if we could schedule an appointment for our mom to get a haircut and color during the next couple days as we were in town visiting through the weekend. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, gave us water, showed us where the bathroom was and then was able to squeeze her in within the next hour and work between appointments to get her hair colored and done. Vinny was her stylist and he was amazing with her, making her feel comfortable and chatting with her while he got her hair done. The color and cut was absolutely beautiful and our mom looks great! She also had a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back to get her hair done again when we are on town and will probably get mine done as well! Bright clean salon and within walking distance so bonus!

I'm incredibly happy with my new haircut! I reached out for a last-minute haircut. Fortunately, Erica responded promptly and was able to accommodate my request by matching me with Evelyn, who did a fantastic job! Evelyn knew just how to work with my overgrown postpartum thick hair without me needing to overexplain anything. I'm so grateful and highly recommend this salon

They have gotten bad reviews from customers and have paid to have those reviews removed. Do not get your hair bleached or colored here! You will regret it!

I recently went in and had Lai cut my hair. I am very picky and showed her a few pictures of what I wanted done. She is amazing and knows what she's doing. I absolutely love my haircut and will be going to her from now on.

I absolutely love my hair stylist Evy! The salon is cute. Not too big or noisy. Just a relaxed atmosphere. Clean. Not in the best part of town but you kind of forget about it once you get inside.

Feels like I've been taken for a ride. Came in looking for something particular, didn't get what I wanted, not even close. I wanted natural roots but got stripe highlights, touching the roots, looking like the early 2000s. She tried fixing it but ultimately charged me $25 more than original quote through text. Not sure why. Very disappointing. Its very hard for me to trust people with my hair. I was really hoping this salon would be the one but I guess the search continues. Very sad I'm out a good amount of money to not get what I want AND have to fix my hair someplace else.

I love my hair stylist at Tangelo Salon! And I really like how the salon keeps you updated on your upcoming appts! It also is very nice for me that the Tangelo Salon is located close to where I live! I always have a wonderful experience when I go to the salon...and it's most likely because of my fabulous hair stylist and good friend!!!

Lisa is the BEST hair person in ALL Sacramento!! I drive miles out of my way to get my hair done by her. She does makeup, hair, weddings.... all kinds of stuff. She is truly amazing! I have gone to other people but no one can do for me what Lisa can. The salon is following all the stupid covid nonsensical protocols so all you who worry about getting sick, fear not! Lisa is on top of it.

I’m SO happy I found this salon. I left with the best haircut and color I’ve had in years! Vinnie patiently listened to my frustration about my previous color and used his experience and expertise to give me exactly what I hoped for. i've been suffering with fizzy hair from being overbleached 3 years ago; and ever since then i colored my hair back to black using drugstore/box hair color. wanting a change, i searched for a better hairstylist and found Sumin from instagram. she listens to what i want, patiently answers my questions, and so knowledgeable. she can change my box-colored hair to a pretty and healthy looking one in one session. i'm super happy with my new hair and looking forward to the 2nd session to make it silver with some purple highlights! definitely trust Sumin.
