Ashley is incredible! I opted to cut my hair really short and try a new style. She took a look at the photo collection of ideas I had and confidently went for it. After leaving, I could not for the life of me make it look as good as it did when I left so Ashley had me come back for some tweaks and education on products/styling tips. Definitely would recommend! Plus they're kind folks :)

I had an amazing experience with Anastasia today. It was obvious that Anastasia prioritizes quality work since she took her time cutting and styling my long, thick hair. I love the layers and shape she added! I will definitely go back to see her!

I got a haircut done here basically minutes before a huge thunderstorm and my usually very frizzy hair magically looked great all night in the rain. I felt like my stylist really paid attention to my hair type and what would be flattering on my face, and I noticed the other stylist taking great care of her client as well, who also walked out with an awesome hairstyle. As someone who's experimented with my hair a lot, this is the place.

Ashley at Tangled is the best!! As a blondie I was stressed to find someone new for my color when I moved to Brooklyn. She was recommended to me by SO MANY and I now I know why! I am so sad to leave her as I move out of New York! She is kind, professional and a color expert. Thank you Ashley!

I was terrified to try a new hair salon as it hasn’t worked out in the past. I made an appointment with Anastasia for a brown balayage after dying my hair black months before (which I instantly regretted!) She was wonderful! She took her time, and made sure my hair was lightened but also maintained its health. After a few washes, I’ve got the most beautiful color! I didn’t think my hair would lighten much, but it exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much Anastasia! I’d also like to add that I had also taken my daughters a few months prior to cut their long hair, which they donated. I was also very happy with both of their haircuts! I’m so happy they are not only an amazing salon but they are close to home. I highly recommended Tangled NYC for all of your hair needs!

Came in today for a trim & freshen up on my face framing. I tend to have a hard time trusting people with my hair, but Jennifer was sure to listen to what I wanted and didn’t rush through the cut, making sure I loved it! Will certainly be back

Anna did such an amazing job cutting my difficult, multi textured hair! She really paid close attention to my particular hair type and how it would respond to various ways of cutting and styling it. Now that I’ve gotten home and keep looking at it and playing with it, I’m only falling more and more in love with how she cut it! Thank you so much, Anna! I’m so grateful. Best haircut I’ve had. Would absolutely recommend.

I CANNOT WITH THIS PLACE! I ASKED FOR A BLONDE DYE IN MY HAIR AND THEY GAVE ME ORANGE! I SPECIFICALLY DID NOT ASK FOR ORANGE. LESLIE IS THE WORST HAIR SALON WORKER HERE! I AM SORRY BUT I WOULD NEVER COME BACK. HORRIBLE PLACE

I have curly hair and Ashley have me a great cut, she listened, kept the length, gave me the layers I wanted and my hair looked healthier and had a great shape. I've also taken my daughter with long straight hair and she gave her a fabulous Farrah fawcett style cut as requested. We are both converted, and this is our salon and Ashley is our stylist!

I met Ashley 2 weeks ago for a color consultation. I wanted a balayage, but I wasn’t sure if the results I wanted could be achieved without damage, since I am a long time box color user. I also have curly, frizzy hair, and wanted a Brazilian blowout. Ashley performed a test strand and assured me we could achieve great results. I booked and she was clear about the time it would take and how much it would cost. I had a 7 hour appointment today (totally expected!) and Ashley did the most amazing work on my hair. I feel like I had a whole head transformation. She lightened my hair significantly without any damage! And I left the salon feeling so happy and confident. I hugged her after our session, I couldn’t be happier. The salon is also spotless, and you are treated with the utmost respect. I was asked several times if I needed anything and they were so kind and polite. I highly recommend going to Tangled and being pampered!

Leslie recently colored my hair for an event, and it came out lovely. Ashley has been cutting and coloring my hair a long time and she's absolutely amazing. She also cuts the hair of the men in my family and she's very good. The whole staff is wonderful and the salon itself is just a lovely place to be. Anna and Leslie are both great too! I've had both of them at different times as well.

So disappointed with this! It was going so well at first but then you ripped a huge patch of my hair out and barely gave me a refund, only 10$! Would never come back here, horrible business especially Leslie

They are so good!! I have found no stylist that has -listened more attentively given more helpful & creative feedback on color and cut or been more talented & professional than Ashley! Both Ashley & Anna the owners are the best! They have a following that remain loyal because they execute every possible service with precision and joy! Tangled is the very best!! I have paid SO much more for services by less talented stylists. Additionally I have difficult hair to color (It is partly grey, takes color unevenly and pulls red) Ashley & Anna are pure magic!! Run don’t walk.
