Asked for 3 inches off, way more was cut. My hair was more than half way down my back, now it’s to my shoulders. She didn’t measure comb and cut, just swept it all back and did one cut. It’s uneven just as my beard trim is. If can only cut woman’s hair, which I feel sorry for the ladies who get cut from the stylist I had, then say so. Will not be going back here. Sad because it’s very close to me.

Absolutely loved it! I'm from out of state, and I'm always nervous about changing things especially when it comes to my hair. Jamie was awesome, and did an ammmmaaazzzzziiing job! Thank you!!!

Went to get a spiral perm today and the girl was nice however messed up my hair to where it looked horrible and when I complained to owner and told her I'd pay for haircut not perm she was unprofessional and refused to see the error had to argue with her for 30 minutes then got threatened to have police called. Owner expected me to pay for horrible outcome of hair I have had 30 perms in my lifetime and never had an outcome like This shame on you!! I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Went in Saturday to get a haircut with Kathy. Having never been here before I didn’t know what to expect. I don’t know where to even begin, but she was late. My hair was a long grown out bob down to my shoulders. I told her I wanted it trimmed about an inch and textured. I left that place with my head completely wet, pieces of hair stuck all over my face and a haircut that look liked someone had used a bowl as a guide to cut my hair. When I got home my brand new shoes was covered in black hair dye. The chair I was sitting in wasn’t cleaned from whom ever had their hair dyed and the stylist didn’t clean up the dye on the foot rest of the chair. I felt horrible after I got home I went to another salon that day and they stated that it didn’t look like she had texturized at all. The cut Kathy gave me forced me to go shorter and with stacked hair that I never wanted and is going to take forever to grow out. It looks absolutely horrible. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. It’s filthy, uninviting, and smelled like urine.

Took my daughter here which was her first time to a salon. She couldn't have had a better experience! The color and cut was exactly what my daughter wanted. Hayley did an amazing job and my daughter said she wants to go back to her again when it's time. Price was super reasonable and the service was amazing. Oh and a bonus is there is a great little Greek restaurant next door!

I’ve been coming to tangles since I was 12. I’m now 24. Ashley Ray was my first and obviously favorite stylist. But after her leaving I had a few others. I went in today to get a haircut I had been DREADING. After having long hair since I was 5. And never going shorter than my shoulder blades. I had really really damaged my hair. Knowing I needed it cut pretty short this time. I booked an appointment last minute today. With a new stylist I had not seen before (obviously anxiety hit). I was really nervous as I feel my hair is what speaks my personality. I came in and sat down in Kenzie Randall’s seat. She was young. And I was even more nervous when I saw that. But when I tell you I showed her a very specific picture. That had the cut and style I wanted to walk out with. She was SO educated. (I am a cosmetology student as well and close to graduating). I asked her a few questions added some technical terminology on her to see if she knew what I was talking about. She SLAYED it. I gave her the option to either add bangs or not. She did. And when I went in being nervous about it. I came out feeling like a whole new me and loving the short hair. She made me comfortable she kept a conversation going. She ensured product did not get in my face which most stylist in my experience are not good with. She even took time out to explain how to style my hair. Recommend product with ALL the knowledge needed about them. She was just overall absolutely amazing. And I cannot thank her enough for making me feel confident in my hair after leaving there. The layers she added are beautifully done. The cut was so even. And at the end she even double checked to make sure everything was straight. If you’re thinking about this place I highly recommend going to Kenzie Randall. She’s my new hairdresser! My before and after photos are here.

Jamie is my normal girl but she is out right now so I decided to go with kenzie today! So glad i did, she was super sweet when i met her and did my curtain bang trim just how i wanted. This time i wanted some wispy bangs as well and she did just that! I would definitely book with her again:) thanks girl, i love em❤️

Jamie Reed is an amazingly talented colorist. Having been burned by other colorists at expensive high end salons who have put harsh dye on my ends, or over highlights instead of toner, I will never go to anyone else.

My experience here was , wonderful . Jamie was my hair specialist , She not only dyed my hair , but She made me feel good about treating myself , because I came there vulnerable and emotional , I allowed myself to shed tears for neglecting myself for so long and she encouraged me ; how commendable is that ?! Jesus Loves You...Jamie thank you , so much for your kindness !

I came to Tangles based on the recommendation of 3 friends. Never again! I went in tor a balayage which I had never had done before. I scheduled my appointment online which stated 150 min time frame and starting at $101 with additional charges for longer or thicker hair, of which I have neither. I was a little concerned at first, I had old blonde highlights on dark hair and was going to a darker all over color. The stylist, a very young girl rebleached my hair. I wasn't sure why but she said to even out the color.. she went to school for this not me so I left it alone. She then began the balayage which unbeknownst to me includes almost an entire head of teased hair( which was extremely painful to brush out). Jump to the end, 4 hours later, and I was not happy. She told me the price was $190! I was shocked! I was already late for my sister's bday dinner so I just paid and left. Once home I realized the stylist had gotten hair color ALL OVER THE NECK OF MY SWEATER! My blue, teal, and white VS Pink sweater was ruined. To add to the 4 hour long session, the almost double price, now my sweater is ruined! I called the next day to speak to the owner and was only able to get ahold of the manager, her daughter. I explained the situation, she apologized and said that's all she could do. I asked if she could at least refund some of my money to cover the cost of my sweater and she said no because they did use the product on my hair so I had to pay for it. She was very rude and not helpful at all. I told her I would just call and speak to the owner the next day and she told me," Not trying to be rude but she won't speak to you. I handle the complaints so she won't talk to you about this".I was so infuriated I hung up. I tried to call the next day and she was unavailable. Tangles sent me a survey after my visit and I left a message for someone to contact me about my experience and of course have never heard from anyone. This is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had.
