My mother in law has been getting her hair done here for years and loves it. For my birthday she treated me to a wash, cut & blow dry. The wash was great but Heidi the hair stylist ruined my hair. She cut far more off than we agreed and my bangs are severely ruined. They are so short and uneven and cut at the wrong angle. Needless to say I cried. When I complained about the cut she merely said there was nothing she could do and told me to have a good day. I am extremely disappointed in my experience and will not be coming back. I am sad that my mother in law paid $55 for such an awful birthday present.

Stacy Snow is AMAZING! She is super talented, professional and kind, and always reliable! She is exceptionally skilled and always listens to her clients wishes. I really can’t say enough great things about her! What an asset she is the this lovely salon!

I was referred to Stacy five or six years ago when I happened to be going through a tough time in my life. I found not only a phenomenal stylist, but a dear friend. She makes me feel confident and reminds me it’s important to take time for yourself every now and then. Stacy has found a great color for me (that she can adjust depending on the season) and knows just how to cut and style for whatever look I’m going for. I love going to the salon and catching up with Stacy, Heidi, and Shirley… they always make me smile! I look forward to my visits at Tangles and I highly recommend Stacy if you’re looking for a new stylist!

My mother and I have been going to Stacy for over 10 years. I live in NoVA now and travel back to Charlottesville to visit the salon. She is the only one we trust to color my hair before my wedding. She is kind, fun, talented and a must to visit.

My sister and I have been going to Heidi for years now and shes always providing us with the best cut, color, and company. :) She's an insanely talented artist and her color work really makes it look natural. I'm a low maintenance person when it comes to styling my hair, but Heidi cut it in a way that just falls perfectly every morning - all I do is take it out of my bun and it looks like I've gotten it styled. Not only is she a great artist, she's a very lovely person and is so easy to talk with. Everyone at the salon was very nice and engaging as well. Even a customer complimented my hair on the way out. 1000/10. Would recommend to anyone looking for something special for their hair and overall experience! :)))

I had always been impressed with how nice my co-workers hair looked after Stacy Snow worked her stylist "magic". I decided to give Stacy a try earlier this year and could not be more pleased. She has a real talent for finding a cut and color that work well for you. In all my years of seeing various stylists, no one had ever recommended using a flat iron before Stacy. I could not believe what a huge difference it made in giving me a more polished look. I intend to be a client of Stacy's for a long time.

I have been going to Tangles since moving to Charlottesville over 5 years ago and I am so glad I found Stacy. She is amazing and passionate about her work! She listens to your concerns, provides suggestions and keeps up to date with the latest hair products and trends. All the ladies at Tangles are so sweet and make you feel welcome. I have been seeing Stacy Snow for years and she is the best at what she does. I highly recommend her. I go about every 8 weeks for Highlights and always leave happy. The salon is super cute and all the staff there is fabulous down to earth people extremely friendly. I would suggest if you're not happy with your current hair stylist give them a try.

It was the first time we have gone here and our stylist was very helpful and did great with our hair cuts. I made a return appointment, which is very accomidating to my schedule and one for my daughter and grandson. It was great to finally find a stylist that LISTENED to what you wanted and delivered.

Stacy Snow Rocks!! My old salon-colored hair was very brassy and dry with dark roots and unsightly grays showing through. I really wanted to be blonde again (my natural hair color is a light to medium brown with lots of warm red undertones). I consulted with Stacy to see if she could correct the color while hiding the grays. We started with in-depth questioning regarding what shade of blonde, how much, what happens when the roots grow out, and how to address the grays. We discussed on-going maintenance and care. This was NOT my typical experience in a salon and I have been having my hair colored for years! Stacy was able to give me beautiful blonde hair with lots of dimension and NO brassy tones. I am now a new loyal customer.

Heidi did an absolutely wonderful job highlighting my hair, I am very picky with who I let touch my natural red hair and she knew just how to make my natural color shine through the beautiful blonde color she did. I would 100% recommend her to anyone and will definitely be coming back again and again! Wonderful establishment, very clean and easy to relax here with such kind ladies to greet you when you walk in. A++!!

I visited the salon today for my first time. Stacy S. was my stylist. She made me feel welcomed and relaxed from the moment I walked in the door. She was punctual and right on time for my appointment. She asked me to give her a little bit of my hair history and then asked what did I want to do today. She looked at the photos I had saved and gave her advice. I never felt rushed and the entire appointment was enjoyable. I highly recommend Stacy. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and knows her craft well. She did a great job on my wash, cut and style. She made sure I was satisfied before leaving and then assured me to call her if I need her to make any changes to the cut and style. Looking forward to my next appointment! The salon is easy to find with parking that’s easily accessible. The text for appointment reminders is a great asset too.

Shop is light filled and pretty. Immaculate. Stacy cares for her clients and considers them friends. Very knowledgeable and professional….asks questions and listens with intention. Highlights look very natural. Cut is easy to care for and always complimented! Everyone on staff is friendly and welcoming and I love their music, too! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Stacy is AMAZING. She was very knowledgeable on hair coloring, and worked with me to get the exact results I wanted. I had colored my hair and wanted a nice transition back to my natural color, and she helped me get there. She also checked up the following week to see if there was anything else she could do to perfect the color. She is truly a professional and I will definitely be coming back.

Stacy is great! I had become allergic to home hair dye, so she took the time to consult with me about options and was very knowledgeable about coloring and highlighting. During my appointment, I started with black box hair dye, but ended with hair closer to my natural brown color with highlights that look great! She made sure to check the highlighting throughout to make sure the color was lifting correctly. I felt she went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. I also love the cut! Would definitely recommend!
