I think I’ve had my hair cut by all of the stylists here by now and they are all super talented! The vibe of the studio is also really friendly & welcoming. Lauren cut my hair this past week; she really listened to what I wanted and made it happen! her layering skills are amazing (i have loosely curly hair)Would definitely recommend Lauren, Megan or Cindy to anyone!!💕

Over the last 6mo I’ve had two haircuts here, as well as a balayage & highlights and it has been consistently great. Highly recommend, reasonably priced for fantastic results

After botching my hair color at home, I conferred with Megan. She listened carefully to understand what color and style I was hoping for. She quickly had a plan to color correct by adding some wonderful, warm highlights. Her hair cut was top notch and one of the best I've ever had!!! The shop is clean and inviting. :)

Cindy cut my son’s hair last night. We talked for 5-10 minutes about what we wanted and how traumatic of an experience it was last time a barber cut his hair too short. After his hair cut was done it was almost as short as it was the last time. Around 5 inches shorter than the picture I showed her. It is uneven and looks absolutely horrible. I mentioned it was short she said oh well it’s hair it grows back. First day of school and school Pictures Are Monday and he is so upset as we are too. Unbelievable

I had a mix up when making my appt as I usually see Megan but I accidentally booked Tyler. She came over after I arrived and told me she would be a few minutes. I appreciate she took the time to make introductions and to say she was running late. On to the haircut. I had medium long hair and wanted to go shorter for summer and so we chatted a bit about what might work , the particulars about my hair and how ive done it in the past. Then she went to work. She really spent the time getting the details just right! Looking over my hair from all angles and getting those stray fly aways I always seem to have. Phenomenal job and I couldn't be happier! Tyler is a great addition to the shop

I've been coming to Tanglez since moving to San Diego almost ten years ago and wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone I've been to there has always done a wonderful job, and their prices are excellent, especially for San Diego! For the past year Megan has been taking care of my fine blonde hair that grows very slowly; I'm never concerned that too much length will be taken off during a trim. Most recently I got partial highlights for summer that I can tell will grow out looking very natural. The atmosphere at Tanglez is casual and welcoming, the complimentary cookies are delicious, and you get excellent service for very reasonable prices!

I've been getting my hair cut by Cindy B. for a few years now and every single time she does a beautiful job. I have long hair and like to have multiple layers put in; Cindy always makes sure she does it exactly how I want it. I know she also does men/boys' haircuts, so she's a good bet no matter what your needs. I highly recommend Tanglez (great old-school vibe, easy online appointment scheduling) and specifically Cindy B!

Lauren was an amazing stylist!!! I haven't gone to the salon in 7 years bc my granny always did my hair and going made me so anxious. Lauren was so good at making me feel welcome and my anxiety immediately left at the start! She is also SO GREAT at hair y'all. One of the women getting their hair done came up to us and said my hair was gorgeous like it should be on Pinterest. YALL that's the best compliment I've ever gotten and it's all thanks to Lauren😍 Lauren-Elizabeth Gomez yall, couldn't recommend enough!!

I’ve been getting my hair done with Megan for a year now and I can honestly say she’s my favorite hair stylist I’ve ever had. She’s thorough, she makes sure she knows what you want, and she devotes her attention to you the whole appt time. She doesn’t make you break the bank & her products are incredible. Makes it even better that she’s awesome and fun to be around :) 10 out of 10 - go to Megan!!!!

10/10! ✨My experiences at Tanglez have been nothing but amazing ! Megan Barry has been by far my favorite stylist that I’ve had in YEARS! She never ceases to let me down with her skills✂️ She’s transformed my hair from black box dye recently to caramel brown with highlights and gorgeous 20inch extensions all blended so naturally ! She’s very attentive , kind & such a vibe to be around ! She strives to create a harmonizing relaxing atmosphere in the salon for all her clients making sure you leave with a smile and enjoy the environment as well which is KEY 🔑 I highly recommend anyone looking for their new GO TO salon for all their hair care needs & most affordable prices I’ve seen in San Diego!! Megan gave me this awesome transformation! Came in with bleached ends that have been growing out for 1.5 years and she blended it all together nicely. I’ve also gotten my haircut by her a couple of times and she gives the best scalp massage when washing my hair and I’m always super happy with my cut and blow out at the end!

I have been going to Tanglez for a long time and now it is under new ownership and I have to say I am very pleased with the quality of mens haircuts I have been receiving. The owner Megan does a fantastic job on my hair and I will continue to go to her. Also, the stylist Kim does excellent work, too. I highly recommend Tanglez for Mens and women's haircuts.

I was on vacation, needed a haircut, and happened to see an advertisement for Tanglez. Cindy did a wonderful job, listening carefully to what I wanted and showing me how much she planned to trim. My appointment was delayed by an extra half hour because they were so busy on Saturday, but everything else was great.
