Wow! What a great salon and spa! I haven't had my hair cut in a while because no one seemed to get it right, BUT today was the day! Gracie gave me a great haircut that I love!!! Her and all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating! They really make you feel special and provide a top-notch service! I finally have THEE place for my image and wellness needs! Thanks for a great experience!

I had Anna and she was great! I had my haired dyed back to my natural color which is black (which was pretty color damaged from the chlorine after swimming) she even recommended me a good shampoo for chlorine and gave me some helpful tips to keep my hair from getting messed up. I love my hair now, I have not seen it its natural color in years! comfortable atmosphere, very chill and laid back salon.

I had such a delightful experience here. I got my hair cut elsewhere and it was... not good. So I called this salon and Erica (I think that was her name!) was available that day for a "do-over" and she gave me such a beautiful haircut. She knew exactly what I was looking for. Also this salon has wine.

I was given a gift card, without any expiration noted. Some time had passed. Went to use the card, asked if they could tell me where the expiration was on the card or if there even was an expiration date. Good information to have. They didn’t see one either. They had to look it up in the system, at which point I was told I couldn’t use the gift card. They didn’t try to make it right. They didn’t offer services while I was present in the salon to make it right. They did call the manager who later talked with me on the phone, explained she had benefited from taxes(information you should never disclose). She did not attempt to make it right either. Didn’t apologize. Didn’t take accountability for a lack of an expiration date, or issue me a new one with an expiration date. Nothing. I had to accept we lost money. I later was passing by, the location closed. I hope they add expiration dates on their current gift cards.

I went to Tanya's for the first time to get a Deva cut for my 3A curly hair, and it turned out amazing! I've literally never had a better haircut in my life! The salon was really nice and comfortable, and my stylist, Lindsey, was super nice. The price wasn't exorbitant either, compared to some other places I've tried. I'll definitely be coming back here for my haircuts for as long as I'm still in Cincinnati!

I’ve struggled for so long to find a curly hair specialist in Cincinnati. I’ve finally found the place!!! The salon is clean, staff is very kind and welcoming. I’m definitely coming back regularly for haircuts. I have thick curly hair and I loved my new chop!

I can only speak for Lindsey Emmert, I have between 3A and 3B thick curly hair and Lindsey is by far the best hairstylist to cut my hair. She is very friendly and kind and very talented. I usually get the Diva curl haircut (I don't use diva curl products but arriving to the appointment with my hair dry and styled has helped tremendously with the quality of the cut). As long as Lindsey works there, I won't go anywhere else, even if I have to drive almost an hour to get to the salon. The salon itself is very clean and welcoming, which is a plus. Please pay attention to your meter when you park, add more time than you think.

If you have curly hair, do not book with Courtney for anything involving scissors.The salon itself is upscale, clean, nice environment. I went in yesterday for some layers and highlights and after my experience I’m not sure if I’ll ever feel comfortable letting anyone near my hair again. I had long curly hair (half way down my back), I went in just wanting some layers to add volume since the weight of my hair was really pulling everything down, I genuinely do not know how I could have been more clear to not cut any length. I even requested she only cut at the top section of my hair and leave the bottom section for length. Courtney was kind and professional but she does not know how to cut curly hair, I now have below the shoulder length hair which will take several years to get to where it was. Mid way through the haircut I asked to see how it was going and I kept my composure but my hair was so much shorter and she knew it as well, we decided to cut the appointment short and not continue with highlights. It seems that some stylists at this salon may have deva cut certifications but do not actually understand how to work with curly hair.

A lovely boutique style salon and spa overlooking and in the middle of Hyde Park Square with a nice variety of services. Schedule some salon/spa time with a friend, and then head out to the square for lunch dinner, or happy hour. Their shampoo bowls are the BEST!

Great experience at Tanya’s. I was looking for a new stylist and Erica was great. She was professional, friendly and the cut turned out cute. Erica is clearly good with hair and I would recommend to anyone. Her assistant Alexa was great too.
