I passed by here and I was very tired. I really enjoy massages. I saw that it was very clean here and saw a male masseur. I came in and experienced a 90 minute massage. The massage given by the male masseur was amazing and made my northern part particularly relaxed. There is a tight area in my northern part that requires unique techniques to relax, and I cannot use too much force to press it. Wei is really great! He works very seriously

The technicians are professional, the massage is comfortable, the environment is clean, the service is warm and thoughtful, the time is accurate, the price is reasonable, and the effect is long-lasting. I highly recommend it!

We should have read the reviews before walking into this place. We've never been scammed like this. We asked for 1 combo massage and 1 chair. We ended up getting rushed into a room with a bunch of nods. Then we agreed to 2 50 minutes combo (body and feet) at $65 each. Before we knew it we had 2 people massaging our feet and 2 people massaging our backs. One lady asked my husband for 50 or 55. We could barely understand what she was saying as we were already faced down in the room. He said 50 min total for each of us. They ended charging us $260 so $130 per person for doing 50 min on body and 50 minutes for foot massage for 100 minutes total because she said my husband agreed to it. We spent 10 minutes trying to explain to her that thats not what we agreed to when we said 50 minutes total but she didn't understand. We paid and we left. By the looks of the reviews this is a tactic they use for everyone to make money. I took a picture of how to file a formal complaint so I will and will notify the mall offices as well. I'm not sure what it will amount to but this is not how patrons should be treated.

After a long day, I happened to see the Tao spa and tried a full body service for my feet and body. It was great and all my fatigue is gone. Thank you for the great professional service. Go tap spa

Girlfriend and I decided why not get a massage together after a long week of work. Long story short you ask for one thing they try and sell you another yet they give you different. Paid $78 each for an HOUR combo massage. Lasted 25 minutes max and felt HORRIBLE. I was better off using the $2 massage chair in the mall. Then they made us use the ATM to take out cash and have the audacity to ask for a tip. Well here’s one : maybe stop ripping off your clients or stop trying to upsell such a bad service. Would never try this place again, highly regret it. Honest rate 0/10 & I don’t recommend.

Absolutely horrible. We paid 234 and they tried to charge us 300 for a full body massage cause a second person was on the feet doing it. We spent half of our vacation money on a rip off massage. Very disappointed. Then they make you take out the a&m so you get extra charges for taking the money out. Totally a rip off!

This is a total rip of place. I went in and asked for the $78.00 table massage and asked if they take credit cards. The woman said yes. When I stepped into the room I told her my legs were very sore from standing at convention center all day and to concentrate on that. Shortly after I pay down under the sheet the "man with bad breath" comes in when I am face down and tells me since my legs are sore I should do 90 minutes. He also started massaging my feet. "very weird" I said no, just an hour massage. The woman had me face down and massaged my back for 45 minutes. When she started on my arms and said please concentrate on my legs. I got less than 10 minutes on the sore part and was face down the whole time. Then to make it worse when I wanted to pay with credit card they directed me to an ATM in the shop that takes credit cards to get cash to pay them. This is highway robbery because Citibank charges huge fees for cash withdraws. It was the bait and switch act. So I paid $90.00 cash ($12.00) tip to be nice. The other thing to note is the place is open to the mall so at times kids screaming at the entertainment area got really loud. Stay away from this place there dishonest ways. They should be ashamed but they cater to tourist who will never come back. Beware, Gary

DON'T GO THERE! My worst experience ever! It's chaotic, the employees argue loudly while your getting a massage. They stopped to have me change places then I got 2-3 consecutive different person, so disrespectfull : one too rough pushing so hard against my lungs I couldn't breath. Another was trying to sell me other massages, blowing his discusting bad breath in my face. A real freak show!

Ils m'ont piégé (forcé): massé plus longtemps que ce que j'ai demandé et m"ont ajouté des massages que je n'avais pas demandé. Le massage etait rude et interrompu plusieurs fois triis personnes ont interchangé ils avaient d autres conversations en mem temps, le proprietaire est raide et malhonnête.

This place will provide good service when it comes to the massages but will lie and upcharge you for services you never asked for. Plus they don't hand out receipts so it's hard to dispute what services were given go at your own risk.

The massage was good, everything else a disaster. I would avoid this place and don’t plan on visiting again. I said I wanted a 1 hr massage for $78. A few minutes after massage started 2 extra people can in room. I then had 2 people massaging me and one guy in my ear saying “2 hour massage? 2 people?” I finally had to sit up, look into his eyes and say “1 hour, 1 person!” The masseuse hopefully just had allergies, but it sounded like he could barely breath as he was sniffing and coughing the entire hour. His keys were on his belt and rattled the entire time. Multiple times other employees entered the room to talk and the masseuse also answered his phone during massage. I get that it’s a mall business, but the unprofessionalism was unreal.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! If I could give 0 stars I would. Came for a 40 minute combo back and foot massage. As someone started massaging my back, another person lightly rubbing my feet, another guy bothers you trying to sell you a more expensive package. I could barely understand what he was saying and I kept saying NO, I only want the massage requested. He kept pressuring me to purchase the more expensive package (while being massaged) even after I told him I was not enjoying the massage with this interruption. So, because two people were “massaging” you at the same time, you only get 20 minutes. At that point I just wanted to get out of there. They also have a cash only policy, which is not stated on their website, nor on the price list. Needless to say, this was a waste of my money and time! I was more stressed upon leaving, than when I arrived. It’s not worth your time or money.

Dirty and over priced SCAM. Agreed to ONE 30min $40 massage for my husband's shoulder they immediately started massaging me while I was waiting and just walked me to a table WITHOUT even asking if I wanted the service. I've never gotten a massage but I know how to give them, and this wasn't it! So painful and after only 15mins for me and 20mins for my husband they charged $104 for combo massages RIP OFF ARTISTS, literally did nothing relaxing. They didn't use gloves on me and didn't change the sheets when we left. Never again, AVOID at all costs. Save your money go elsewhere.

Great massage but manager kept pressuring me to get a combo while I was laying on the table being massaged by someone else. Lots and lots of pressure to up my massage to a combo. He even went in waiting room and confronted my husband.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE: 849 E Commerce St Suite 349, San Antonio, TX 78205 Last week I had the worst massage experience ever! Requested a combo massage (back and foot). Two people working on my massage. One for my back, the other for my feet. What a joke. Not therapeutic and not a foot reflexology massage. Less than two minutes into the massage, a person with “bad breath” starts talking in my face, trying to sell me something (huge language barrier). After a few minutes of nonsense chatter, thankfully, my sister came to my rescue and told him what massage we wanted and we were not enjoying the massage by being annoyed with a bait and switch tactic. Additionally, no where does this location state they accept “cash only”. After the so called “massage”, they tell you it is “cash only”. They direct you to a cash machine so you can get cash with a debit card. Apparently, they do not have any experience in massage, only how to pressure you into paying more money. Don’t waste you “cash”. Had a better massage for a fraction of the price at the airport massage chair!!

I got a full body massage and the massage itself was very good. The lady was thorough and seemed experienced. My friend was also in the same room getting her massage at the same time. The problem I had was initially they told us to keep clothes on. I had jeans and a t-shirt and didn’t understand how you can get a good full body massage with jeans on. They also didn’t use any kind of oils until we specifically asked them to use oils. Two of my other friends had foot massages and one was satisfied with the pressure used, but the other one said it felt like a massage she’d give to a baby. Nonetheless, I tipped well to my lady cuz she did a good job for sure.

This was the worst massage experience I have ever had!! They continually tried to up sell me and my friends for more services. The guy doing my massage talked on his phone so loudly, not relaxing at all. This place only accepts cash, but they don’t tell you that until your massage is over! The guy walked me down to the atm to get cash, very awkward! Also saw a girl come in and fold the towels I had used and put them back on the chair as if they were clean!! Wonder how many other people used the same towel I did that day! Go anywhere else to get a massage!

Absolutely hated it. I went out feeling more sore than going in. At times I could not breathe because the guy was pressing on my back pressing my lungs down into the table. They tried pressuring me to get more added along with raising the amount I would be charged. I put one star because there is no option to put no star.

I am coming here for a conference and I came across the massage spa place. I did not have much time and they offered me two workers workin on me and afterward. I am felling brand new. They made my day. I strongly recommend Tao Spa.

I was physically assaulted and groped in the lobby (upstairs location across the hall from Hot Topic) by a female employee who demanded that I pay the full amount after she let unauthorized people into my privately booked massaged room, and I refused to continue with the massage. I have called to report being groped by this employee, and I'm currently waiting outside for the police to arrive. The employee yelled at me as well because I would not pay for an hour and a half massage, that I didn't even get 30 minutes for. They were obnoxiously loud, talking on speaker phone during my massage, and pulled my hair to get my attention. This place needs to be investigated immediately.

Massage was too strong for me. My back shoulder blade area feels sore. They only take cash and the nearby atm has a 4.95 fee. They didn’t tell us until after about the cash. They also try to upsell you aggressively trying to get a second massager added in as well as trying to add extra time without discussing costs. It was also far from relaxing due to the mall noise. I think this place is good for a quick 15 or 20 minute chair massage but that’s it.

Terrible massage session. No oils, felt like I had back carpet burns on my back. My body felt worst after the 30 minute session. They don’t accept card, demanded cash payment only. Then had the nerve to look at me because I refused to tip them both. So I tipped 20 so I could just leave and avoid any confrontations. I sure was ready to refuse my payment all together after being skin burned. First and last time. Avoid this place at all cost.

The massage was good but I had a few frustrations. 1. They only accept cash which wasn’t explained to me beforehand. I probably would’ve passed on the service if I’d known that 2. The staff couldn’t provide me a receipt for my HSA which idk how they couldn’t do that 3. The staff didn’t seem to speak English very well, which resulted in a frustrating experience with them trying to upsell me and I wasn’t understanding and they didn’t understand me when I asked for a receipt
