Carmelina was great. She cut both mine and my mom's hair and did a fabulous job. Both of us walked away with exactly what we wanted. I was especially impressed with my mom's haircut. My request was straightforward but my mom didn't really know what she wanted. Carmelina helped her figure out what would work best for her and fit her goal for low-maintenance scrunch and go hair style for her wavy hair. Then she made it happen. She is an artiste! 10/10 would recommend. Also, so conveniently located. That is worth something too.

Carmelina did a perfect job with highlighting my hair! It’s exactly what I wanted and I have received so many compliments. I highly recommend Carmelina and Tease! Though if you are coming on a Sunday, please give yourself ample time to park because the market makes it difficult.

I booked with Melissa. Extremely unprofessional. Rescheduled initial appointment. Showed up hungover. Got the hair color I asked for completely wrong. Ask to schedule a color correction. She then text me an hour before the appointment asking to reach from 1 to 2. I had already left work and took time off for this appointment. Then at the last minute asked to cancel because she’s “under the weather “ (probably hungover again) which should have been stated initially. Extremely unprofessional. Find a professional. Do not book!!

Super disappointed with my experience with Carmelina. I booked her for a full set of highlights and when I came there she convinced me to just do a “partial”. She then only bleached my money pieces. Legit only two strands of hair. She seemed to be in a rush and left the bleach for too little time because they are banana yellow. She then charged me for a PARTIAL… $170. I’ve never been so disappointed with my hair and can’t redo it since I spent my money on this scam. Avoid.

I've been seeing Melissa for my haircuts for years and I don't trust anyone else with my hair. She listens to me, she gives great advice, and she's super fun to talk to as well. Highly, highly recommended!!

Melissa has been cutting and coloring my curly hair for 14 years now. It was hard for me to find someone who understands and knows how to cut curly hair. She's amazing and I could never go anywhere else. She's also just a super cool, lovely person.

I was fortunate enough to have a friend introduce me to this adorable creative person before I had found my apartment here, Misty has been warm and receptive to my opinions and my whims. We have gone from brunette-red-gold umbre to an almost totally reversal going from a light blond to dark ash. She allows and encourages me to play which can be very hard to find with a stylist. I'm not leaving her anytime soon!

I've finally found my "forever stylist" - Misty! She consistently gives me beautiful haircuts that grow out well. I am not always good about describing what I want, but am always pleased with the results. My eight-year-old daughter now also goes to Misty. In her words, "Misty is awesome!"
