I am new to the area so I have been looking for someone to help me take care of my hair. Ms. Jamila is just the person that I’ve been looking for. She is extremely knowledgeable about my hair and during my appointment she showed a genuine concern about the health of my hair and how I could reach my hair goals. I can’t wait for my next hair appointment with Ms. Jamila!! I trust her completely with my hair and I appreciate her listening ear and gentle spirit.

Jameila is the truth…she knows what’s she doing I trust her with my hair health…and I don’t trust many on my head …very sweet and down to earth person…and very professional… she’s officially my new stylist … Second Visit…. I had a perm rod set done my curls are lasting forever still soft and bouncy it’s been a week, I have pulled my curls every which way they can go, wore it up down and there still in tact…

LISTEN.When I telll you Ms J slayed my hair. She did.. She was very professional and comforting. I know very little about hair and she educated me and made me love my hair again.. When I left II felt like I made a new friend and confidant in the hair game. I asked every question I was afraid to ask before. Oh and the shop looks really nice and welcoming.. Please go and thank me later. See ya there

Made appointment with her and she canceled paid my deposit and she refuses to give it back. Ask her to gifted to my daughter who is a regular customer and she refused. Bad business practices. Beware of the owner

PLEASE READ !!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! THE REVIEWS ARE WHY I CAME AND THEY MUST BE FROM PEOPLE WHO KNOW THE OWNER. MS.J IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND GHETTO. NOT ONLY DID SHE NOT KNOW I HAD AN APPOINTMENT I PAID IN ADVANCE A DEPOSIT FOR BUT SHE WAS RUDE , TOOK HER TIME MADE MY CHILD CRY ( who has never cried at the hairdresser ) and did a very basic style and charged over $100 for it. SHE TOOK OVER A HOUR TO FINISH BLOWDRYING HER HAIR AND SAT THERE AND ATE FOOD AND LAUGHED INSTEAD OF FINISHING HER HAIR. I WOULD NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE. WANTS TOP NOTCH PRICES FOR LOW CLASS SERVICE.

The owner destroyed my hair. The method she use to dyed my hair was deemed unnecessary by another professional in fact a hair school teacher for actual college, 30 vol developer and bleach was used twice. Once two dyed and an other for color correction which she try to advise me that I needed. It chemically burned my hair. I will never go to this shop again.

I was initially very nervous since people can never seem to cut my hair the way i want, but Miss J did a great job making sure she understood what I wanted and got the shape just right.

I went to see Miss J today to get my hair cut. This woman definitely knows her stuff! You can tell that hair is her passion and she's very very good at what she does. She's very polite and friendly, and made me feel at home. I will be going back! She's confident in her work, which is something I love about her cause she's not going to "half step" when it comes to what she does. My hair being as long as it is, a lot of stylists don't think it's a big deal when they cut off more than I wanted or don't do a good job in general, cause "it's just hair, it will grow back". That's definitely NOT how Miss J is, at all. She cares about your hair just as much, if not more than you do. She won't cut all your hair off. Also her prices are not bad. My haircut was $40, which might seem high to some people, but I'd much rather pay her to cut my hair, and know I'm in good hands, as opposed to paying someone else $15 and walking out with my hair looking tore up from the floor up. She's also not heavy handed, which I thought was good because I'm tender headed. Her salon is clean as well (and super cute). Overall 10/10 experience and I now have a reliable hair stylist who's amazing at what she does. If you've had a bad salon experience somewhere else, going to see Miss J will DEFINITELY get rid of your worries.

Ms J is very well known of hair textures and best products to use. She provides great guidance on the styles to use. She provides very personalized hair treatment services. The local is very clean. Prices are a little a little bit high.

Very clean, my stylist Jamila was very professional. I had an appointment at 12: , got there a lil early and she got started. I explained what I needed and she executed the plan very beautifully. this was a great place to start my salon journey.

Ms J trimmed and did a curly flatiron on my hair. I was nervous at first because I hadn’t had any heat on my hair in 4-yrs, but she did an excellent job. My hair is healthy and Has so much body. I’ve gotten so many compliments. Plus, she is fun and will have you laughing the whole time you are there. Great people in this shop.
