It’s always a joy visiting T-Gardens! My stylist is Min, who is truly exceptional. I’ve seen her twice for Japanese straightening and both times I’ve left the salon feeling like a model. I have extremely long hair, which Min treats with care - and devotion. It’s clear hair is a passion and not just a job. Her attention to detail is unrivalled! I completely recommend her and the salon : )

Yama was amazing! My hair was severely tangled but he took the time to get it all brushed out and dedicated his whole time to work on my hair. It was so worth it and I've found my new favorite place to go to. It's an hour drive for me from NJ but it's worth it for manageable hair. Thank you T-Gardens and Yama!!!

I went for a haircut and Suzu attended me, she was lovely and her job perfect I got the haircut I wanted with detailed trims , so the hairstyle can look perfect , definitely coming back ! thank you Suzu ,🌻

This place is great! I went for a Japanese straightening with Master Stylist Min back in July and I'm very pleased with the results. I just scheduled an appointment for a touch up which I'll be doing every 6 months. It's not cheap but I'd say it's worth the money. They were also very sweet.

I had a wonderful experience with Yuki. This was my first time getting a cut in a very long time and I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Yuki listened to what I was looking for and my concerns, and came up with a look that fit my criteria perfectly. At Yuki’s recommendation, I got bangs for the first time (!!!) but he gave me a style that is as high or low maintenance as I’m feeling on a given day, so I have the flexibility to style my hair if I would like, or leave it unstyled and let the bangs blend into the rest of my hair. I love my new look and would highly recommend this salon!

I had the opportunity to have my hair fixed by Master Stylist Yama. His professionalism and his craft were excellent. I had a curled perm, which was poorly done, and he was able to restore my hair to its natural state and cut/shape my hair into exactly what I wanted. Before and after photos , two months apart. You are in great hands at this salon.

I was going to be a new customer, but their customer service is the worst!! I will not be using this salon. I live in NJ and made an appointment in advance, that happened to fall on the date of the NYC marathon. When I called, a day in advance, to reschedule because there was no way to get there due to the marathon, they said they would be charging a $149 cancellation fee. I wasn’t canceling, I was trying to reschedule because of a major event preventing my travel to the location. Awful customer experience, I will not be using this salon. BEWARE!!

i had my haircut done by rei, she was so gentle with my hair and did exactly what i wanted!! she knows what she’s doing trust me the salon was very clean and the staff were all kind and welcoming, i highly recommend!!

I have had my hair straightened for years but just wasn’t happy anymore at my previous salon. After reading the great reviews I decided to give TGardens a try. Lisa, the top stylist, is amazing. She studied my hair, and did a fantastic job! And a great cut too. She is fabulous! I will be a lifetime client.

I just had my haircut and bang styling today at T-Gardens NY by Yama! He was very precise and helped me choose the best style for my face shape. I am so happy I chose this salon for my haircut! Lovely salon with knowledgeable and talented stylists. I’ve had my hair cut by Lisa and Rae and both really took the time to ask questions about the cut I was looking for and offer suggestions to achieve the best look. They also considered the grow out process and styling options for my short / mid-length, curly hair. Before the chop, I also received the most relaxing scalp massage of my life. A genuinely calming, delightful experience.

Digital perm with Mako — she’s super sweet and explained what to expect from the perm. I did lots of research on digital perm in NYC and did not regret. Very satisfied with the outcome.

Had the best experience with Mako for a digital perm! I hadn’t gotten one in a while so was a bit nervous but she explained all the details and options for how big the waves would be, and where the curls would start. My hair feels healthy and styled now!

Simply life changing!! I got a digital perm from Yuna and my confidence has never been higher. I've waited several months to post this review and TO THIS DAY, coworkers, fast-food workers, strangers, etc. compliment my hair. I showed up 15 minutes late to my appointment (please be better than me), but Yuna was still happy to see me. I had around an inch of bleached hair at my ends. Yuna trimmed those away in a matter of minutes and refreshed the layers that I had gotten done maybe a year prior. Yuna gave the EXACT perm that I wanted. I brought a few reference pictures, and she completely nailed it. She also gave me very good after care instructions on how to keep the perm fresh (use mousse and don't overwash!). It's been more than 3 months now. The perm has loosened up a bit, but I still absolutely ADORE it. My original reference pictures were actually very similar to what my hair looks like now. Yuna is a very clever stylist. They permed my hair just slightly tighter than the reference pictures so the additional time has helped the perm loosen up a bit. People tell me it looks like I got the perm very recently, but I haven't! :) I left a $100 tip and every penny was worth it. I know that when this perm wears off, I WILL be returning to T-gardens. This is very unusual for me. Prior to this perm, I had actually never spent more than $100 on my hair TOTAL. But Yuna and T-gardens have changed how I think. P.S. My hair is completely UNSTYLED in all the photos.

First time coming to a salon, Yama was very kind, respectful, and helpful. Offered his professional opinion when getting a perm and was very patient with me while I figured out what sort of perm I wanted. I stuck with a regular perm and I like the way it came out, next time I will definitely try a digital perm. I also really like the way my hair was cut and the entire perm process was very smooth all thanks to Yama. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back.
