I got a cut and vivid balayage from Rebecca @vanityhairla on insta. I’m obsessed with the work she did!!! Her understanding of hair color blew my mind! This was my first time ever going vivid so I was a bit nervous but she made me feel so confident and at ease with the colors and cut we chose. It felt like a true collaboration. Rebecca walked me through everything she was doing and made sure I was completely on board with all the decisions. She's also just super fun, silly and personable!! I got to meet the owner, Jordan, too who seemed super down to earth! I love the space she’s created especially the adorable bathroom wallpaper hehe!! and I like that it’s downtown but street parking is free and not too hard to find. 12/10 would recommend Rebecca (@vanityhairla) and this studio.

Rebecca has been my barber since Nov of 2023 and there is a reason for it. I had a buzzed head for a few years prior to meeting her and told her that she could put her vision on me, whatever she felt would look good I trusted her. Because in my head if worst comes to worst I could always just buzz it back down, thankfully I have not gone back to a buzz ever since.

got my hair done by the lovely Rebecca. Not only did she do an amazing job but made me feel more confident in my hair, it’s always nice to go to a stylist who knows how to bring your vision to life. The salon itself was extremely nice as well- very comfortable, clean and inviting. 5/5 def going again

I have so many good things to say about this salon!! I first came to this salon after a DISASTROUS haircut that left me in tears, but Amanda was able to take it and create a style that I loved!! essentially SAVING my life!!!!! I have been coming ever since!!! Amanda has been the only hairdresser I’ve seen that is able to bring the visions that I see in my head to life!! I have always wanted fun cuts and vivid colors in order to feel my authentic self and finding this salon has been my saving grace!! the entire atmosphere within the salon is so comfortable and calm, everyone is so nice and conversation flows seamlessly which always makes for a great day in the salon!! all hair stylist are very good and friendly highly recommended!:)

I visited Thair Salon from the bay area- as a hairstylist this salon is known in the industry for seriously high level artistic talent and their welcome vibe- I felt completely at home right away and was there to do some collab work for a hair contest- I loved the space and the people -Jordan the owner was really welcoming and friendly, and Amanda who I worked with made sure I was taken care of and felt welcomed the whole time. I highly recommend as a client or a fellow stylist- make Thair Salon your first choice - they offer creativity, skill, and a chill super welcoming atmosphere for you to enjoy having your hair artistically cut/colored. Literally bookmark this salon and look no further! 10/10 best salon best stylists super high creativity and skill/talent!

This salon is beautiful and so inclusive! They make you feel so welcome and Diana is an absolute GEM! I’ve gone a few times now and had my hair done by her and each and every time I’ve been BLOWN AWAY. I leave feeling beautiful with soft and healthier hair than I came in with. She’s attentive and pays attention to every little detail. Her specialty is vivid color so if you want something fun and bright she’s definitely your girl! She’s also very easy to talk to and if you don’t feel like chatting is more than happy to give you a silent appointment for peaceful pampering. You can’t go wrong booking an appointment with her. Also bonus the bathroom is GORGEOUS. So happy I found this place and Diana.

Amanda is a godsend. She is such a sweetheart, completely understands when you want to chat or if you want a completely silent appointment. And when it comes to hair, she truly knows her stuff and respects her clients wishes. You know that feeling when you get a trim but you’re scared your hair is going to feel shorter after? Never in my life have a had a trim and didn’t feel that UNTIL Amanda cut my hair. My hair felt thicker and healthier and not shorter. I was shook and so incredibly happy. All around, I have not a bit of negativity or feedback about her and her work. Oh and her salon is wheelchair accessible, A++ (:

Amanda is amazing at doing vivid hair. I receive compliments not only when my hair is freshly done, but throughout the fading process as well. As you can see from the different hair lengths in the photos - I have been a customer for a long time, and will continue to be!

Being obsessed is an understatement. I’ve been following them on Instagram for years and I finally decided it was time to come here. The space is SO cute and such a hidden gem. Everyone is so nice the moment you walk in, and the vibe feels like I’m just hanging out with friends. Everyone that comes and goes looks like walking masterpieces. My wife and I will be coming back till the end of time.

I absolutely love the vibe here. Not only is the vibe right but they get you looking right. I have been going here for a year and a half and they absolutely always get me looking right. And their decor is super cute. I absolutely love everytime I go and get my hair done. I did my research when it came to finding the best place to get my hair done and I'm so glad I found it. Will definitely continue to come here. I highly recommend it. . I put some pictures of the work I've gotten done here, and I absolutely love every color transformation that I've gotten done here. I have been receiving hair color, cut, and style by Jordan for many years. She is thoughtful, listens to my concerns and delivers exactly what I request. She will go out of her way to make sure I am happy with my results and makes excellent suggestions for products I should use. I love my hair and I am so grateful for Jordan’s talent. Stop thinking and start booking! I debated getting vivid hair for ages before booking an appointment at Thair and I’ve never looked back. My kickass stylist Amanda aka thehairygodmotherr is just one of several awesome stylists they have on staff. I’ve been seeing Jordan at Thair Salon, every month, for the past 5 years. I’ve seriously never been happier with a Stylist. My confidence is boosted every time I leave with such an incredible cut. Jordan is also an amazing color specialist. She’s so talented with her blondes, and I have short hair which is harder to color (plus I’m crazy picky with my hair), but Jordan is a short hair color goddess, and she slays it every time! The Salon was also just renovated and it looks so beautiful, it’s monochromatic chic, bougie gay, all inclusive and a great queer safe space! Jordan is like a therapist too, I love spilling all my tea to my stylist, so being with someone that I know can keep things on lock and key is so important, and I trust her with all my life’s gossip and secrets. She’s always so understanding, empathetic, non-judgmental, and offers genuine quality advice. A true life coach, talented artist, and amazing business owner that knows how to make her clients feeling comfortable, confident, and leaving feeling rejuvenated! ❤️‍🔥✨

Jordan, Amanda, and Diana are the only stylists I’ve met here (though there are other stylists that can also weave magic!) Each of these fine humans are so friendly, so warm, so welcoming. They also have some refreshments for you, which is great if you (like me) are gonna have an appointment that lasts a couple hours - big thank you to Jordan for her hospitality! Amanda is the stylist I’ve gone to since I moved to Los Angeles. She’s a wizard with color and works with all hair of all lengths and styles. She’s been able to accommodate my bleach allergy, as well, and I’m so grateful. Until I met Amanda, I had no idea that you could still do fun colors without hair bleach. She’s changed my life. I have an upcoming appointment next weekend with Diana, and I cannot wait! I follow her on Instagram and she is the most fun and sweet spirit, and she’s also willing and able to work around my allergy. I’m so excited! The best salon I have ever been to in my life! Love the ambiance and vibes, so friendly and fun. No matter how wild or conservative with style and color they nail it every time. I only heard of them by word of mouth thank god, they are incredibly talent and I believe the best in their field. I feel so lucky! Total hidden gem.
