I treated my wife to a couples massage for our 25th Anniversary. We were greeted by the lovely staff and treated to tasty mimosas while waiting for our therapists. Karley gave me the best massage I have ever had! She paid special attention to areas of concern and made the experience very special.

Amazing location in the heart of downtown, relaxing ambiance throughout! Able to accomodate groups, and add-ons available to packages. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of! Will be back and highly recommend!

I was in Greenville South Carolina last weekend for my nephew’s wedding and decided to book a massage. I found The Altar spa online… it was close to my hotel and had great reviews. I had a massage with Karley… She’s an angel. I felt amazing during and after. So many bodyaches when I went in and practically none when I left. If you’re in Greenville, it’s worth going to the altar and seeing Karley.

If Google would allow me to give a 10 star review...I would! The massage I had with Lindsay was exceptional. I came in with movement restrictions and a shoulder injury that I was worried about and because of her depth of knowledge, she was able to work in a very therapeutic way that was relaxing and healing. The Altar Spa needs to been seen and experienced to be believed. I will recommend your beautiful place to everyone I know when they ask me "Who do you trust and where would you go" -Lisa

It is the most beautiful spa but most important I did get a wonderful facial. I do have a sensitive skin and I don't get facials often but Augustinus Bader targeted facial was perfect choice for me. Delaney was very professional, I felt relaxed and comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The decor in the relaxation room is so chic and the perfect place to sip on some Prosecco while you wait for your service. The esthetician for my facial was so pleasant and I will absolutely be going back soon!

The most MAGICAL hidden gem in Greenville! I took the side stairs through the bookstore and it feels like you’re entering a secret sanctuary. They offer complimentary champagne or coffee with your service, I got a mani pedi with Ada and she was so sweet. She made my experience truly delightful and relaxing—a solid 10/10 recommendation for a girls' day out or anyone seeking a serene escape from downtown's hustle and bustle. The spa's exquisite beauty and tranquil ambiance add to its allure, making it a must-visit oasis in the heart of the city.

Fantastic experience! I was in town and in need of a pedicure while my husband was at a business conference. This is a full service spa that will pamper you from head to toe.
