Edit: Don't book liars everyone, keep in mind that this particular hair stylist has seemingly had a habit of deleting harsh negative reviews in the past to make herself look innocent. Will be posting pictures and if this gets deleted i will do a repost. When I first booked an appointment, I booked for jumbo KNOTLESS box braids at 9AM last Saturday. I've booked with Tasha before; she typically stays on time and is prepared by the time I arrive. A few days ago when I arrived, her shop was locked and she didn't show up until 9:20. Even though I was frustrated, I didn't feel like canceling so I brushed it off and let her do my hair. Not even an hour into the appointment she had me sit to the side while she braided someone else's hair. So at this point, I'm very frustrated because I was supposed to get my nails done that same day at 1PM. Finally, after 30 minutes, she was done with her client and continued to braid my hair, and finally, at around 1:20, she finished. When I looked in the mirror, I did not like what I saw. In the picture below, it was NOT knotless, and the braids were WAY too big (keep in mind that I explicitly told her to give me knotless, NOT traditional + i showed her the referenced photo (left) vs what I got (right)). When I expressed my frustration to her, she was dismissive and refused to refund me the $170 that I paid for. Please don't come to this salon unless you want a stylist who does whatever she wants to your hair instead of what you asked for.

10/10 recommend Kim for any color needs. She did her big one with my highlights and refreshing my hair which was much needed. The most important part is my hair felt healthier walking out. Everyone was nice at the salon I cannot thank y’all enough ❤️

Rosemary aka The Wander-Women of all hair stylists is by far hands down the BEST I’ve EVER been to. I was convinced from our very first encounter - she would not commit to highlighting my hair, until she knew it was safe and my hair could endure the process. Who does that anymore?! To say she actually cared about the health of my hair is a complete understatement. As a business owner myself, I know customer service is key. She, truly went above and beyond - and I was a complete stranger! Of course she’s stuck with me for life now. 🫶🏼😆 I literally told her “I’ve NEVER have had my highlights come out this beautiful and light- on the first try” I went from a dark hair brunette to a blondish bombshell! When I get my hair retwisted I always ask for a wash because it always feels so good. After they retwist my hair and take the clips out my hair it looks so good. -Malik
