Where do I even begin. Mack is simply an artist. I walk in and tell her my inspiration and I let her create the master piece. She takes the time to create the perfect look. I have been going to her for 3 years at this point and she is by far the best spent on her quality and service. I cannot recommend her enough her work is everywhere and I get compliments from other stylists on her work every single time.

For my first experience at the Artist Haus, I was not impressed. I had mentioned on the phone that my hair often takes ample amounts of time, since it's thick and long, however I don't think they took me seriously. I was a new client, they did not know my hair, and had scheduled maybe at least 8+ clients while I was getting my hair cut and colored. I was nervous when the assistant kept checking my foils and didn't know where to start with the removal of the foils - not a good sign. I didn't get my hair blown out, because I was afraid of the cost, as I'm pretty sure it's NOT included in the price of a haircut. So, when I get home, I realized my hair was butchered. The highlights were bright yellow and orange, and crooked all over my head. There were some spots with huge chunks and then other areas were the high light looked like it had slipped mid-process. I quickly contacted the scheduler, since for some reason that's the only way to reach Mackezie, and was told I probably just "need a toner and that's the main issue, as for the placement of the highlights, she feels there's no issue." The highlights were absolutely the main issue. The timing of my foils was obviously not calculated correctly, it looked like foils were quite literally slipping from my hair and taken off way too early. It looked like I had gotten it done months ago and it grew out. I don't know if it was a error because they overbooked and couldn't focus on the timing correctly, but it's a shame because it cost me over $600++, not including what I had to pay to go to another salon to have it corrected.

McKenzie at Artist Haus is an outstanding colorist who takes the time to listen to her clients to understand their lifestyle and hair needs. Before seeing McKenzie, my hair was dull brown with brassy highlights. Thanks to her expertise it's been completely transformed.My hair looks and feels gorgeous! I have a vibrant color, that feels healthier, and I'm more confident overall. The salon atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making each appointment enjoyable. They won me over TWICE! At 36 weeks pregnant, I planned on getting a cut and color that would have been quite expensive. Mac, the owner, suggested not investing in color until I was postpartum to see how my hair changed. This instilled trust even though they could have charged me more money. Instead, she gave me a glaze and FANTASTIC dry cut that revitalized my love for my hair. She worked with its natural curl to provide something that was edgy and low maintenance. Thank you!

Andy Glickman is a hair genius! He has such calming and warm energy and talent to match. Andy has transformed my hair from a post partum disaster to the hair of my dreams. He also picked the perfect color that enhances my skin undertones and helps to hide my grays in between visits. I adore this man and his ability to transform me! And let’s not forget Gabrielle! She is the manager and scheduling, customer care and makeup artist extraordinaire. If you are lucky to cross paths with her, you will know it because she pays the utmost attention to detail and provides the best care to clients. Gabby is my go to hairstylist. She has been taking care of my hair for the past 3 years and she has made my hair so much better since then. It has shaped my whole look as well. Gabby understands the right style for you and is always open to trying new hair style as well. She will be honest with you as well to make sure your hair is healthy at the end of the day. It’s always so fun going to her because we would come up with fun hair ideas. She is very easy to get along and make you feel comfortable and beautiful!! Great experience and color. Hadn’t colored my hair since pre pandemic, it was dry and flat, and I was unsure what I wanted. I booked a consult first. Michelle showed me examples of some low maintenance styles that wouldn’t need frequent appts to maintain. She did an amazing job dyeing and styling, made me feel very comfortable, and gave me good advice to get the softness back. I also loved the salons atmosphere. The woman at the front desk was also very nice.

I had a few appointments at the artist haus with Mack. I booked multiple appointments far in advance for single process coloring as I was preparing for my upcoming wedding. I have curly hair and lots of grays that need coloring every 4-6 weeks. On the day of my appointment they called me to tell me they were cancelling my appointment. I totally understood, things happen. I asked to be seen by anyone else because my grays were in desperate need at that point. She said she would ask and call me back but "understood that I had to do what I had to do." Not sure what that meant at the time but was hopeful to get in with another artist for the time being. They never called me back to reschedule and I felt like they dumped me. The front desk did very little to rectify the situation and for someone that spent over $1000 on my hair in the last 6 months I was hoping for a little more of a response... or just a response in general. Later that month I went in for products and Mack was there working on someone else, no acknowledgement that she left me hanging with no apology or understanding. I'm glad that I know this now because if they were to have left me hanging like that right before my wedding I would have been livid. I hate to leave bad reviews but this experience really left me upset. I am a loyal customer and just ask for good service in return and some honesty. Very disappointed with this place, unfortunately. Maybe they just don't like working with curly hair?? I don't know but I do know that I will no longer be giving them my business.

I have never been to a salon where the artists were so knowledgeable and took time to learn my hair and made incredible recommendations! I also loved the follow up with product so I can care for my hair at home! Definitely will keep coming back and recommend everyone come here!

I have never cried over a haircut before and at the age of 32 that finally happened. As soon as I walked out of Artist Haus I burst into tears. I love my hair - it’s long and thick and I have kept it the same for so many years. I typically just ask for long layers and to trim the ends just to make it healthy. My old stylist left her salon so her new salon was no longer convenient for me. I found Artist Haus and figured I would give it a try since it was so close to my house. When I walked in Mackenzie asked me what I wanted. I said “I like long layers and just a very light trim” her response was “I cut hair different ” and honestly I don’t care how you cut it as long as it’s how I want. She did the left side first to “show me her style” the top layer was above my ear I wanted to start crying right there. She then did the other side and it’s completely uneven. In the pictures you can see the bottom sides are uneven and the layers are drastically uneven that’s it’s comical. When I got home I had to cut my own hair just to try and even out the pieces around my face. I’ve been wearing my hair up every day when I never did before. She clearly doesn’t listen or just doesn’t care. Not to mention , the cost of the haircut is almost double what I would normally pay for an amazing cut. I wasn’t going to write a review but friends and family are still shocked when they see my hair and encouraged me to do so.

Mack trimmed my hair and we talked through adding some highlights. I've never colored my hair before but saw some photos of a style that I liked and Mack made it happen...like magic. I'm really happy with the change!

Really disappointing experience getting my hair styled for an event…when making my apt. they told me it would be around $60. fine. day of, the stylist was running behind so i was asked to come 15 min. later. I ended up getting chair time 35 min. after my scheduled time…keep in mind im on a schedule for an event as well. the style came out just okay but coming home to analyze it, it just looks like a lazy/rushed job :/ ill have to take it out and curl it myself etc now. topping this off, i was charged $85 for 30 minutes in the chair! for some down curls and simple styling! i left a $20 tip because that’s what you should do but wow im so beside myself this feels like robbery. like at least compensate for the lateness…at LEAST

Simply the best in the area. If you want your hair to look incredible, go here!!! The owner, MacKenzie, has a great eye, and goes out of her way to be accommodating! Great place if you're looking to get your hair done for a wedding, special occasion, date, or just when you want to look your best! Chic setting- the interior was also designed by the owner, further showing her great eye for a great look! The staff are all friendly and cool! Highest possible recommendation!!!!

Had a very positive experience here. Only thing is that there was power shortage during my cut so couldn't get a wash and I was told someone would reach out after to provide a blowout but never heard. Other than that the service was really good and I was really happy with the cut.

I can’t say enough good things about this place!! I have had my hair done twice now (colored, cut, and styled) by both Andy and Eric. They both did an incredible job. You can tell they are experienced and true professionals here The end look was discussed thoroughly during the consultation and turned out even better than I had hoped. The atmosphere is very nice as well and they do a great job making you feel welcome and comfortable the entire time you are there. I would recommend this salon and both stylists to anyone looking for a high quality color and cut.

I had such a wonderful experience at the Artist Haus. First, the space is incredibly beautiful, each station had its own vibe, with it’s own unique antique furniture. The whole space was flooded with sunlight and adorned with lush plants. I saw Mack and right off the bat she took the time to sit down with me and get a clear idea of what I was looking for. She was quickly able to help me understand my hair type and how I could improve the way I care for it. When she began to cut, it was clear that she knew exactly what she was doing. She moved with intention and precision. I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome. After the cut, she hand selected some Kevin Murphy products and talked me through how and when to use them. I walked out beaming and I can’t wait for my next appointment✨

I have to say I’ve never left a review of any business, let alone a negative one. But I left my appointment with Mack disappointed. After an appointment made months prior was rescheduled by the salon, I felt Mack rushed through my appointment while attending to another client at the same time. I did not feel like she listened to what I wanted for my hair, cut off much more than I was comfortable with after I said I wanted to keep length, and gave me a single process color with no explanation or description other than “dark” after I said I was looking to add dimension with color. As a new client, I didn’t feel that I was a priority here for the price I paid and I don’t think I’ll be returning after this experience- just not for me.

It took me a while to find the hair salon to have it all for me- when when I found Artist Haus I knew this was it! Not only that, but Mackenzie is the most talented hairstylist to have been working with my hair in a very long time. For context, my hair is not easy to work with, which is why I have a hard time finding stylists who can tame it effectively. But Mackenzie is gifted- and when I say that she is gifted, I mean it! She is magical with the shears! Not only she worked her way around my dry, frizzy, coarse, capricious hair seamlessly, with exceptional precision, giving me one of the best haircuts I ever had, but her talent as a colorist is also unparalleled! The salon itself is a vibrant space, with a great atmosphere and fantastic staff! Everyone is friendly and super nice!

I’ve been going to Mackenzie for 7 years and I am always thrilled when I leave. She did hair and makeup for my wedding four years ago and people still ask me who we used and I always refer them to Mackenzie. She always gets to the root of what I’m actually looking for with my hair but I can’t necessarily articulate. I always take her guidance because she never steers me wrong. Everyone in the Artist Haus is so friendly and passionate about what they do. Can’t recommend enough.

Meghan is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! I was very nervous getting my hair re-balayaged because of a past negative experience with a different salon, but wow those fears definitely disappeared pretty quickly. She’s very experienced, has great convo, and is SO skilled. I will recommend her to anyone I know! The vibe at artisthaus is great too, super relaxing, and the staff is great. Some salons can make clients feel a bit intimidated and not fully acknowledged as people, but at artisthaus I felt completely comfortable!! If you have any doubts, don’t! I recommend Meghan completely 🌿
