I got a haircut here from Samantha and it was such an amazing experience! The vibes were so welcoming and the products used all felt and smelled very good. Not overpowering at all. I hadn’t gotten a haircut in a several years and my experience here was so healing and special! Plus I absolutely loved my haircut and how it was styled after :)

Carla was great! I came in for her to practice her blowouts on Black hair and she did an amazing job! She was confident in what she was learning and very patient with the process. Will be returning!

This place is fantastic! I tried it after seeing all the good reviews and they are all true! Meaghan was SO great! It was my first time dying my hair and she was great about explaining and making sure I knew what was going on. The color is also EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Also, the best cut I've had - she finally gave me the tons of layers I always ask for :) I'll definitely be returning many times! Update: I've now seen Cam a few times and they are also AMAZING! Love this place!

Aileen was incredible, my previous barber kind of butchered my hair and Aileen did such an amazing job and I feel so much better about my hair now. Look forward to coming back next time!

Had my first appointment with Aileen on Saturday. I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted and Aileen was patient and helpful - I ended up with a haircut/style that feels fresh, new and super cute. Highly recommend!

It really is so wonderful to have this phenomenal quality salon to which I can walk in 5 minutes! I appreciate everything about Attractivators - from skilled hair pros (and simply amazing humans beings who are interesting and interested!) to their sustainability practices, to the amazing plants they have in their space to appreciation for art on their walls, to creativity with season deco, to assortment of teas and bubble waters:) And all this is just a cherry on top. The real deal is that I have been with 4 different stylists and everyone is simply great. Only good hair day here for real! They were the salon where I went from long to short and they did such an amazing job (Rachel you rock! Thank you for “holding my hand” though chopping off 18 inches!). They never push products on you. But everything I get here is luxury and quality. If you are up for a good hair day - this salon is worth walking, biking, driving to!

First time getting a cut here today and ill definitely be coming back! Loved the vibe inside as well as a complimentary drink. Jayline is a Rockstar! Easy going and fun personality who was able to help me figure out my right style as I wasn't sure of what I actually wanted or how to fully describe the look I wanted. She slayed! Would absolutely recommend! My dogs also love walking by here for their free treats

I KNOW I'm a pain when I get my haircut for the first time with a new stylist. It's because I've been burnt before. I get the EXACT SAME haircut since I was 18 because it works for me. EDIT - well I guess I'm on the hunt for a new stylist AGAIN. My hair grew out and guess what - no layers. None. zilch. I was hoping the FACE FRAMING LAYERS I was promised didn't appear. I am so disappointed. AGAIN...... I didn't know it was so difficult to get layered hair with face framing layers

I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago, a little nervous to try a new salon/stylist, but I left with the best haircut that I've gotten in my ~4 years of living in Chicago! Cam was just the BEST and my waves/curls are finally thriving. Also, the space was so cute and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Already have my next appointment on the books :)

Came here for the first time today. I’ve had the same person cut my hair for about 10 years at a different salon. So I was nervous to try a new salon and stylist. Front desk was super friendly and welcoming. Cam did an amazing job on my thick hair. She checked in with me throughout my service to make sure I was comfortable and happy with what she did. I appreciated her empathy, stylist skills, and scalp massage. I will definitely be returning and made several appointments to come back.

I want to really like this place but they lose points for caring about quantity of customers over quality. When I went to get my hair dyed I asked if they had time for what I wanted and they said yes. My hairstylist ended up being so busy with other customers that she only put the dye on. It would have been fine if maybe one other person washed out my hair. But that person didn’t rinse it properly and get the dye out of my scalp by massaging it out. My hair is really porous and they just splashed water on it. I was left with dye in the hair and a stained scalp. And of course when they went to blow dry it it took forever to blow dry because of how much dye they had left in it. Then they were so busy another person came to blow dry and then another after that before finally being switched back to the 2nd person. I have never been to a salon where 4 people end up working on my hair. I understand they can be busy but it really feels like they care more about quantity of customers over the quality of it. I ended up going home and showering out all the excess hair dye myself that wasn’t properly rinsed out. Love the atmosphere and everyone’s very nice but probably will not go again as 4 people doing your hair is crazy to me. I don’t usually complain or write reviews but I would not recommend if you want individualized attention from your hairdresser.

Legit love this place! I was a color model for Jayline and she was the best! Attentive, charming, and I left looking hot af. Anna, the owner, cultivates an amazing vibe and it’s clear she is invested in the young typists she has in her shop. 13/10 will recommend Seriously best salon experience ever.

Emmett did wonderful work on my 2c/3a curls. He gets it! Curly hair can take a while, but I never felt rushed. Emmett was patient and precise, and his colleagues around the salon were attentive and friendly. I think I'll be back!

Love my cut every time I go. Meaghan does such a nice job. She listens to me babble (with my lack of haircare vernacular) and does exactly what I like, but more often, it's better than I anticipate.
